We had Alan install a single A/C unit in our attic for our master bedroom at the beginning of the summer in 2022. Although Alan is a very nice person, the installation was a disaster. They installed the unit upside down, the pan wasn't large enough, the unit leaked repeatedly, and Alan was too busy to stop by and check on his guys' work. He had to have another installation team repeatedly fix the problems. Do not trust Alan and use a different contractor. 5/15/2023 Update: The unit still does not work, and Alan's phone is disconnected.
We have used Alan and his team for many years! he has always been very responsive to our requests and accommodated service calls very quickly. Work is always completed right away and is reasonably priced. I know if we have an HVAC issues, and I call Alan, it is going to be taken care of quickly, reliably, and completely. We have recommended Alan to many friends and neighbors and all have been satisfied.

Alan and his team are really fantastic to work with. He installed our HVAC system in a small condo very promptly and has been readily available for maintenance ever since. We recently had our AC break during a heat wave and when we called ProAir and left a message Alan responded within ten minutes, on a weekend evening. We scheduled a time for an evaluation 1 day later and found out we needed a new compressor. This was all taken care of and replaced in several days. Pricing is fair and transparent and the whole crew is very friendly. It's nice to feel like you have a 'go-to' crew for unexpected issues like this and Alan and the ProAir team are certainly it!
I would recommend Alan. Our outdoor A/C Unit went out on a Sunday when it was 90 degrees outside. Our 10 room bed and breakfast was getting hot! Alan arrived 2 hours after we called for him. He was pleasant and invested in getting us up an running asap. He problem solved and fixed the problem. Then he followed up! This is the second time we've used Pro Air and I'd call them again!
We had an emergency with our heating system and Alan came out immediately to solve our issue. He was so friendly and professional. Solved our issue in half an hour. We can't recommend enough.
Alan is the most professional and genuinely kind person I have had the pleasure of contacting when I needed my AC condenser unit replaced. I cannot more highly recommend him. He's thoughtful, punctual, and highly professional. He also gave me an excellent rate. Significantly less than the price gougers who prey on innocent customers. Thank you, Alan!

Came next day to troubleshoot thermostat issue I was having. Simple issue but was resolved very quickly and easily.
Alan was prompt and professional in responding to our call when our AC cut out during a recent heat wave. (We called him because of his expert installation of the system 11 years ago.) He replaced a small part and the system whirred back into action! We'll be customers for life! Ellen, Brookline
DON’T CALL PRO AIR. I was having all of the above done. The work is still incomplete and we started in December 2020. I switched over to the mini splits units but Allen won’t take my calls nor will he return my texts. He’s taken about $12,500 for 4 mini splits, exterior tubing, electrical and another small heating/ac unit in my attic living space and has disappeared. BEWARE OF THIS MAN. DONT GIVE HIM MONEY UNTIL YOU KNOW YOUR SYSTEM WORKS. Another electrician told me that as soon as the units turn on the wires that are in the closed up walls now will not be able to sustain the machines. SOMEONE FIND ALLEN…….
Alan and his team came to our house to install central air and forced heat (replacing radiators). We got multiple quotes and Alan was very reasonable, and he and his team show up when they say and are very nice and professional. Despite their busy schedule, they came and got central air up and running for our upstairs to help us with the heat. Looking forward to having the rest of the house done! Would definitely recommend using them!
Alan and his team were excellent. Great communication, practical in their solution, was able to do this very quickly, even during a heat wave when all other providers were saying 3 to 4 week wait. I will use Alan again and I hope you do as well.
Needed a quick service call to get our central air conditioning going and Alan picked up my call and our problem was fixed within an hour of my call. I wish I hadn’t wasted most of the day trying to get in touch with the service provider who installed the system! Thanks for so being so responsive, Pro Air!
Alan and Ozzy were great guys who showed up same day to get our A/C going. They were very straight-forward with their explanations and work - also helps that they are great conversationalists! Extremely thankful for their help given the heatwave hitting Boston.
Very impressed with Alan and his team! Not only do they arrive promptly on time, but they do great work and are very professional. Alan also took the time to show me my new unit and how to use it, which I appreciated! Great service is hard to come across these days and Pro Air knows how to do it right! Highly recommend them!

Nice team to work with. Alan is extremely knowledgeable and was able to make some very good recommendations regarding not only system design (flow and sound level), but equipment. We had one tweak that was needed after the system was installed and Alan came by the next day to remedy. Can’t beat that! I’d recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable team at a fair price.
Alan was THE BEST! He treats you like family. Whether it’s a Sunday morning or Friday night, he there to answer any and all your questions. I had issues with my heating and called him as we were about to get below freezing temperature. Told him I was afraid of my pipes freezing and he came over right away. No questions about it at all. If you’re looking for someone who will treat you like you are one of his and at the same time have incredible professional work, THIS is you guy. Happy to talk to anyone about a reference anytime.
