The food is fantastic. Great place to go to work.
Closed. Food was great, wait was over 40 minutes after ordering to get a very simple breakfast, menu was small.
Getting food is very slow I️ waited for 30 minutes and the food is still not here
Amazing food! The pork belly is a must try. A great friendly environment with wonderful service.
Service was terrible. It was almost as though we were invisible. The food is decent and coffee is good, but the wait staff is all college age personal, with absolutely NO social skills at all!!!!....Refills.....what is that?! Once they sit you , they do not even acknowledge you...so sip that delightful coffee SLOW...because you will be lucky to get another!!! My advice to the owner is to hire people that are mature , responsible with manors and who want to work.
This place just makes me sad... so much potential but won’t make the changes necessary to be acceptable. I recommend this place to everyone but it has to stop. Worst service ever!! You can’t even imagine how frustrating it is. They need a better pos system and they have to learn how to prioritize customers in a logical manner.
The food is good but the service is terrible, almost not even worth it. Be prepared to wait for food and a seat, especially on the weekends!
It was a 35 minute wait for two breakfast plates at 1:00. An egg sandwich and hash and eggs. The place was half full with 3 tables not yet served when we arrived. For a $10.00 plate I would of expected more food.Hash was dry and eggs were very small and only come poached. The sun blinds you at the tables since there are no shades on the windows. Our waitress was pleasant
Great food...everything was so fresh!!! Staff was friendly and the prices were goid...
Hard to imagine any worse service. A prior reviewer’s Gandhi quote is very fitting. All 5 servers appeared inconvenienced, if not bothered, by the customers’ presence. It was difficult to establish eye contact with any server, even while sitting at the counter and with repeated opportunity to do so with most of them. After a long patient wait, it took some active waving down of someone to get any attention at all. With empty water glasses and coffee cups among the tables we could see, the servers occupied themselves by checking their phones, talking to friends, and appearing to stare straight past our attempts to get their attention. When we finally interrupted one of the servers talking to his friend at the counter and asked him to check on our order in the kitchen, the response was an eye roll and “yeah….” and a slow walk into the kitchen. (This was the same guy that gave the counter a wipe with his bare forearm to clear the debris, leaving the sticky spots, before we sat down.) When the food finally arrived, the eggs & potatoes were just warm and the toast was cold, but otherwise the quality was fine. The only proactive ‘service' received was we were asked if we wanted our bill, before we were even halfway done eating. The poor and dysfunctional lack of service began during the wait to be seated, when 5 parties of two to four people stood waiting near the door while there were at least 3 empty tables and 6 open seats at the counter (plus the open counter seats along the window). Our fellow visitors marveled at the dysfunction, as several newcomers turned around at the sight of the (frustrating, if not unnecessary) line. In all, an hour and half for a basic breakfast and unpleasant experience. Oh, the coffee was fine. In summary, Bread & Butter appears to lack adult supervision or any desire to satisfy its customers. First time visiting: food was pleasant and service was inviting and personal. Only issue was music choice. Some songs were heavy and dense; one with many unpleasant words. Overall a nice experience, and if the music changes, I would be a regular customer.
Waitress was great had to sit in the sun for a hour food was ok nothing to bring me back For a another breakfast potatoes could be good they are to thin and not crispy hash Terrible eggs were good they were poached Also had omelette must have forgot cheese because was not melted stuck in last min I guess not impressed will not be back Needs some decor also blinds or shades Would be good.
Tasty food. Quiet, casual atmosphere. Easy way in which to have a lovely social lunch. .
It took an hour for them to feed me and a friend. The kitchen cooks things out of order and the staff ignores/lies to you. Plenty of better alternatives nearby so don’t waste your time.
Good food but the wait times are terrible. The service is really slow.
Delicious meal! I’ve been a few times and the quality is consistently good. Something for everyone in my party, including some great vegan options.
Really good brunch but very busy!
The breakfast is amazing.... Nothing wrong with this place except that it's always crowded, but that's just because it's so good!
I enjoy going there because I like their eggs florentine, but the place always seems badly run. The wait for the food is very long, the servers frequently forget to refill the coffee, and there always seems to be a lot of confusion and disarray. Either they need to hire more staff or limit the number of seating to the amount of meals they can actually make. In addition, occasionally the chef decides that he doesn't want to make lunches, and so refuses to serve anything but breakfast. This seems super unprofessional, and definitely turns off prospective customers.
Excellent unique breakfast and lunch served in a clean comfortable place with convenient parking.
