My mom's bathroom sink was clogged. I called one company who told me my galvanized pipes were rotting and the wall behind the sink would need be removed. My mom and I were so upset. I called Vernon and he asked me a lot of questions and pretty much guaranteed that was not the case. He set an appointment and promptly arrived. It was a drain clog. But he educated us on the downfalls of pedestal sinks. We couldn't really afford a new vanity, new sink. But had we done that, he provided ideas for decorating to match the color schemes as a green vanity is hard to come by. Recently my neighbor had no heat. The heating unit needed to be replaced and she couldn't afford it. He patched the system and was honest with her, telling her the patch wouldn't hold forever. His qualities? Kindness, integrity, honesty, HIGHLY proficient. He will work with you on the phone suggesting different things that may be doable for the homeowner to resolve the issue. These kinds of providers are hard to come by. I will be sticking with him forever and he covers a wide variety of services. I have recomended him on the next door app numerous times. He also has many fans there and they all say the same things about him that I've described above. I promise, you WILL NOT BE disappointed. Great man, nice guy and knows his stuff.
Vernon was great! I called this morning for a slow draining sink and by the same evening, he not only redid the plumbing under the sink but also cleared the clog further down the line. If you’re looking for a plumber who’s responsive and won’t rip you off, Hamilton is the best option.
Same day service! Called Vernon at 730am and by 1030am, one of his guys, Mitch, was here. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Our water heater needed replacing and by 1pm, they were done. No mess, reasonably priced, and they take pride in their work. Highly recommend these guys.

Vernon and his team are wonderful. They have helped us with both plumbing and heating issues. Vernon is very easy to talk to and does fantastic work. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs a plumber or HVAC work done.
We bought a house in Perry Hall in 2018. It needed some work and Hamilton was suggested to us. It's been 4 years and anytime we've had issues I just call up Vernon and he's here same day to help. We've replaced our HVAC, had him do some plumbing fixes and a shower repair. Wouldn't recommend anyone else locally.
I’ve had Vernon do quite a bit of work in my home - everything from hot water heater replacement to leak/drain repair. He’s always prompt, responsive, and courteous. The quality of his work is top-notch and if you have an older home in Baltimore County, he’s really knowledgeable about how these houses are built and knows how to deal with all sorts of issues that might be hiding out of sight. Highly recommended!
Excellent service and turn around time. Vernon is wonderful. He explained what needed to be done, water heater replacement, and was super efficient. Cleaned everything up and I hardly noticed he was here. Definitely give Hamilton Plumbing a try, you won't be disappointed. THANKS AGAIN, VERNON!

I am so pleased with the service I received from Vernon. My hot water heater went out and I couldn’t get it to reignite- I called Hamilton and was impressed with the same day- literally within 2 hours, Vernon arrived and worked his magic and I’m happy to say I am able to have a hot shower! I really appreciated the honesty and the sense of transparency that Vernon displayed.Eventually, I was made aware that it is coming to the time to replace my old water heater yet he was able to make it work buying me time to prepare for the upcoming expense of a new one.So grateful he took the time to service my tank rather than just giving the standard sales pitch of “Sorry Miss, You must have a new system, followed by pricing options. Our 18 year-old thermostat suddenly died on us on the very cold winter day here, and i went to NextDoor app to see any local help. Hamilton's name came up with high recommendation from people in the neighborhood. I called them around 10 am and they said they were going to try to fit me into their schedule that day. Sure they did that. Vernon came around 6 pm and get me the new thermostat and installed it and immediately we got heat again. I honestly called others before i called them, but they were the only one who were willing to try to help us that day. I really really appreciate this company. Not only that, Vernon did a great job to immediately diagnosed the problem, installed the new thermostat neatly, and he also made sure there is no other problem in related to it. Super grateful. I highly recommend this company.
My 2 year old gas water heater all of the sudden stopped heating water. I noticed the pilot wasn’t lighting and I couldn’t get it to reignite. I called around to see who can come to take a look at this before Christmas as we have family staying over from out-of-town so it was vital that we get this fixed before then. A few companies couldn’t get us in until the next week but when I called Hamilton Plumbing and spoke to Vernon, he was able to fit me in his schedule the same day! Vernon was professional and schooled me on what was the problem. It was a bad thermal cutoff switch and he ordered the part for me and will be coming back to install it when the part comes in. Vernon was a cool dude…good attitude…loves doing what he does for a living. I highly recommend their services.

I woke up to broken AC on a projected 99 degree day and Vernon showed up extremely fast, fixed the unit, and was very transparent about cost, process, the problems we were having, and how to proceed. I recommend them so so highly.
