Met with Douglas and Team. They came to do AC maintenance. I have a 3 level townhome and upstairs wasn’t cooling the way I wanted it to. Nevertheless they came, fixed the problem. I don’t know about HVAC but I could tell that Douglas and his partner were meticulous about making sure that the temp and the ducts and the dampers were working just the way I like it :). He was very pleasant and professional. I recommended him to my HOA group. Also communication was top notch. They texted when they were on their way and an ETA. I was able to get same day service thankfully too. Very happy. Will reach out to them if I ever have AC maintenance issues.
Fantastic experience all around. Unlike the big corporations, this is your local small business experience: no fancy scheduling, no administrative overhead, just great service at fair prices. Our A/C wouldn't turn on at the start of the season. Douglas came out, took a look, took the measurements, fixed it, and we were nice and chill for the weekend. I'd probably be still scheduling around with the big companies, for the "next available" slot. I appreciate the honest pricing and a through check-up. Thank you!

The guy Douglas Pacheco is very rude. Poor professionalism. Only put a bandaid/quick fix to our hvac unit. Hard to contact when needed a fix to his previous repairs.
Our heat went out randomly in December, and an employee named Douglas Pacheco came to take a look. After assessing, he was able to give us a quote. We told him we would think about it and get back to him because we have another HVAC person we are waiting to hear from that could give us a better rate. Douglas then suggested that instead of paying the higher premium with the company, just pay him under the table (red flag #1 🚩). Out of desperation, and the desire to repair our unit within our budget, we agreed to pay him directly. He fixed the issue, and exactly one month later the heat goes out again. After contacting him on an early Tuesday afternoon to assess the repair, he responded saying he would come by later that day. He NEVER showed up. My husband called him at 7:00pm and Douglas responded with “I can’t make it today”. It was such a disregard for our time and was super unprofessional. We could have spent time at a friend’s place instead of waiting in an unheated home. If my husband hadn’t called to inquire, we would have still been waiting to hear back from him. The following morning he sends a message at 9:00am to say he will be there at 9:15 (red flag #2 🚩). It was extremely short notice, and we are both very busy working parents, with two toddlers (one which needs to be driven to school around that time). When he arrives at the door, he demands an $85 assessment fee. He gave us zero notice that we would be charged again, especially since the issue could easily be from a failure on his part since he did the “repair” 4 weeks prior. And just a disclaimer, we have a brand new HVAC system with a 10yr warranty that was installed 2 yrs ago by a different HVAC guy. Anyways, when we asked him why weren’t we informed about the fee beforehand and expressed to him that we waited for him the previous day, he caught a nasty attitude. Knd was quick, professional, and did great quality work. They came out same day and diagnosed the issue..did his best to get it fixed same day and when he needed to order a part he came back the next day as early as possible and got me up and running
I had KND install a split system Daikin system that I purchased off amazon. They only charged me labor, which was very reasonable. Douglas stayed in constant communication on install date, and any issues that came up. Very happy with the results, and would absolutely use KND for any future HVAC needs. A++
All staff were very professional, and polite on the phone. Tech very knowledgeable and polite when speaking to me. Fast response to check and make repairs as needed.
We renovated our shed and ordered a unit from Lowes. They installed it and it has worked perfectly for months since. Nice guys who do good work!
Please don't waste your money and time with this company KND came to check my previous HVAC system, the system worked properly but it needed some freon, I requested for recharging freon or take care of leakage but they recommended for whole-system replacement, we have done contract and replaced the system on July 2021, after replacement, there is no enough cooling and heating at my house and the outside unit (heat pump) make frozen, I sent the pictures, they made the appointment, there are couple weeks still am waiting for them and nobody showed up and just continued keep changing the appointment. Please see the 3 months old HVAC system picture that was replaced by KND heating and cooling company (Outside unite frozen)
Great service. Technician was able to identify the issue quickly. Ordered the parts on the same day and installed it the following day. Technician went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Highly recommend.
I strongly recommend them. Every other company i called didnt wanted to come today on a sunday and because of holidays. I called them, they were here with in an hour. Took care of the problem now my family got a warm home. Thank you
KND provides excellent service! They were available for a quick appointment, and repaired my system same day, providing simple and thorough explanation of the problem. I would definitely recommend them, and will have them service my unit annually!
I was very impressed from the diagnosis up to the final repair...i had previously had BGE out and j. Michaels and Son....they did not diagnose my repair correctly and never open up the unit to see if it needed cleaning...they put a bandaid on the problem so i got a 3rd opinion and called KND Heating and I am so glad I did...Beautiful work...I highly recommend this company.
Douglas came out to look at my upstairs AC unit since it was not working properly. He came the next day and did the thorough Evaporator coil cleaning and drain pipe cleaning with before and after photos and videos, explained in depth of what he found and performed. Very professional and pleased with the service. Would recommend to my friends and family.
