I had a late night plumbing emergency and called Jiffy since they are open 24 hours. Vince explained I probably had a main line clog and sent a technician out to me. The technician Enrique was there within an hour! He assessed the problem and immediately knew what was needed. He explained the process of using a machine and a 120-foot auger before starting. He also gave me an estimate before he began. It worked! Before leaving Enrique had me run a few checks just to make sure all was well. I will definitely use them again in the future if anything comes up
I called Jiffy Plumbing because we had a big crack in what I think they call a drain stack. These were I believe 4 inch cast-iron pipes. It required a lot of work to get this all repaired which was done in one reasonablely long day. The work fixed the leak we were having, and the place was left clean. The charge was also somewhat less than another estimate that I had gotten.
Used them for years at my home and my rental properties. This last time was a completely different and unpleasant experience. I called for no heat on a system they installed. They came at 5pm after getting call from them at 8am that I was second stop. Manager said tech had part on truck, he did not. Tech said never told office he had the part. Tech had to come back the next day with part but needed $239 diagnostic fee. I asked manager if I can pay whole thing tomorrow since I have no heat and tech needs to come back with part he said was in truck but was not. Manager says if I do for one I’ll have to do for all…WHAT!? The part was under warranty but both visits cost me over $500. Both visits took less then an hour total. Again used them for years but never again. Seems things have changed over there.
Excellent Company with affordable prices and professional job. Did an excellent repair job on our Gas fireplace. Quick to respond to urgent calls.

Pete was awesome. My water bill has been high. He came out to investigate the problem. After checking my home, he determined I had a leak at the main line and recommended I call DC water immediately. DC water came out and determined the leak is on my property due to a lead pipe. Pete was so professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. We had a plumber come out through our home warranty program to replace a diverter valve in our tub. After replacing the valve the water pressure in our shower was very low, but the person left without fixing the problem. We contacted several plumbers who told us that they wanted to replace our entire faucet ensemble. Jiffy Plumbing sent Vinh out for a free estimate, and he quickly identified that the problem was a simple clog that had built up in the shower head after the valve had been replaced. Thank you so much Jiffy plumbing for saving us probably $1,000 dollars for a problem that multiple other plumbers failed to diagnose! Would definitely use again.
Excellent plumbing Company with affordable prices and professional job
I used Jiffy in 2014 to install a new HVAC at my house and was please with the service, which is why I used them recently to detect and repair a water leak behind my shower. I paid them up front 800+ and I later needed an itemized bill because my insurance would reimbursement for the repair of the wall but not the pipe which I constantly explained to Jiffy. When I asked Jiffy for the itemized bill it was a major issue! I spoke to four people there, repeating the same thing over and over, this included the owner who was the most RUDE and HUNG UP on me! How unprofessional!! Then they insulted me further, by requesting my insurance agent call them...last I checked the insurance agent didn't pay my bill!! I will never recommend or use them again!! Unfortunately for them, my community was looking for a company to use for us and had asked me about them when I had my repair done because they saw the Jiffy Truck, initially I gave them a great review because I had previously used them. After this interaction with the owner, I rescinded my great review to them and explained what happened. Referrals are everything. Terrible customer service by the owner!!

Zac was professional and quickly diagnosed the issue at hand. Pending the success of the repair, I would suggest using Jiffy.
Replaced the air conditioning unit on our roof efficiently and quickly.
Called the Service, Plumber arrived within an hour! Listened to what and where the problem was. Checked out the problem, explained the fix and the cost. The work was completed in an hour or so! He cleaned up the work area and all is well!
Have been using Jiffy for years, this was the first time Zach was our technician and he did an excellent job, went out of his way to explain everything and made the experience very pleasant. Felt like he really cared to do a great all around job.
Promptly and painstakingly replaced lead water pipes in my 110 year old home.
I called for service. After describing the way that pipes came loose Jeff immediately sent someone to make sure that there was no CO leak. The job entailed replacing pipes. The young man that came was Professional and did the work expeditiously.
The mechanic J Hardesty is very unprofessional and seemed like he was on drugs when he was at my place about a year ago. He was constantly talking to himself and his work was mediocre at best. They also overcharged me so I would not recommend them.
I have waited for nearly 2 months for Jiffy to complete the back flow, meter and submeter installation required to operate a new sprinkler system at my house. First, they blamed the problem on WSSC inspectors. Today, a new WSSC inspector came to say that they installed the wrong size meter. The company charged me nearly $6000 for a project that should have been completed within a week or two. And two months after they first showed up, I still can't water the lawn. I lost plantings that were put in during a dry October and November because of this failing. I am requesting a refund from Jiffy due to their repeated failure to execute on what should be a simple project. I strongly recommend against using this company. DL
I am a single female and a new homeowner in Maryland who is very skeptical about acquiring any type of services. Thankfully, I was very impressed with the services provided by Gary with Jiffy and will definitely call them again- whenever needed. Gary was very knowledgeable, attentive and made sure to explain everything he was doing & why. I highly recommend this company…especially Gary!
