Scheduled to come one day came a different. I was supposed to be here for the service call. Charge me $190 for services not rendered
American Home Services sold me my Rainsoft Water Softener and helped me finance it. I later found out it is roughly 2-5x the cost of comparable systems sold at Home Depot. They are providing me lifetime warranty and moving services for my water softener, but a yearly maintenance visit appears to be required to maintain the warranty and I do not believe this was mentioned during the sale. These yearly visits are $100+ and an additional $200+ to replace the filter canister every 2 years. I wish I had done more research and asked more questions prior to buying.
Installation team was great -very experienced and respectful. Had some sales miscommunication about the system required to meet my goals but mgmt resolved the issues to ensure the system met my needs.. Definitely would use again!
They always do a great job on our water softener and filter. Top notch.
The serviceman was kind and helpful. This was an annual service for a water filter. However, he said he had to check the operation of the soft water system. That took him 15 minutes. We were charged $129 for that check up, but that seems way too much.
I have purchased two water softeners from them and my daughter purchased one on my recommendation. She has not had a good experience with them. I had good experience with them until this past week. My sister-in-law had stored a lot of items on a table four years ago and came by to go through them only to find they were wet. I called 4ECO and they sent out a plumber that afternoon. He quickly located a pinhole leak in the pipe from the water softener discharge line. He declined to charge me thinking AHS should bear the expense of any repair. I called AHS and explained what we had discovered and it was clear the girl didn't believe me. She said she would have Robert, the general manager call me back. He never did so I called again the next day. I still couldn't speak with him and the girl said I would be charged a fee if they came out. Again it was clear she didn't believe me. I ended up having 4ECO do the repair and still have the portion of the pipe with the pinhole opening.
All worker's are very pressional and knowledgeable.
Called them to look at my water softener they installed. Never showed up then called and reschedule for another day which was 2 hrs late. Did not fix it and said I’ll have to reschedule for another day and charged me over $200 tech was very nice but did not wear a mask and seamed to have a cold. And drove a unmarked vehicle wasn’t sure if he worked for them since his shirt said a different company name on it..
Replaced filters on water filtration system
The service was for annual maintenance on our kitchen sink drinking water system. The technician was quick and efficient, ceaned up and had the system back on line in no time at all.
AHS replaces our reverse osmosis filters and services our water softener annually. Their postcard reminder (a year later) is very helpful. Staff is prompt, professional, friendly, & careful to complete tasks with thorough clean up afterwards. Followed all COVID safety protocols.
Everyone is super friendly! We got a water softener. I suggest you ask for Gary to do your install, he's super efficient, knows what he's doing and goes the extra mile for complete customer satisfaction
I really have no issues with the service, the technician was on time and very professional. What I don't understand is how it costs $200 for 15 minutes of work.

We were extremely pleased with the services from AHS. They were very professional and courteous from demo to install. We didn’t have an outlet near where we wanted the unit placed and they scheduled an electrician to come out and install one right where we needed it. The performance of the system is really good. We are using so much less soap. We don’t get spots on our dishes or showers anymore. My wife LOVES the way her skin feels after her shower. Our 7 month old baby feels like velvet after bath time. Everything about our water has improved from brushing your teeth to making coffee to cooking. We’re very pleased with our Rain Soft system and AHS.
Service tech called and let me know that she would be early. Came in and spent 15 minutes and then told me what I needed. Paid a little to much if you ask me for that and well I will update when I get the other service.
Have been a customer for several years. They are the only HVAC company I refer. Highly recommend!!
I have worked with American Home Services with HVAC and solar panels. They are very knowledgeable and dependable. I highly recommend them for all you heating and cooling needs.
7 years since our AC was installed. 7 years of breakdown after breakdown. No AC for over 3 weeks so far this year. Every year we get the run around. Avoid using them if you can.
Bad customer service. Never follow-up on questions or services promised. Never got money for referral and technician did not come check pH level after salesman found the level to be not what it was supposed to be. So not sure what we paid for and if we are even getting quality water.
