Jacob is one of the most honest and friendliest men I have known he goes out of his way to help fix any HVAC issues.

I feel like they try to do what's in your best interest, fixing if possible rather than replacing. They are reasonably priced, friendly and easy to work with.

We have used Karen’s twice now, and on both occasions the service has been top notch. They came highly recommended, and completely took care of our heating and cooling needs in a timely, efficient manner. Great, honest service companies are hard to find I am so glad to have found them!
Good small company you can depend on. They have repaired my unit a couple times and I had them install a new unit a couple years ago. Reasonably priced, Jacob is a straight-shooter who works hard and from watching him it's obvious he's been at this a long time.
I would use 0 stars if it were possible. I purchased this unit 2/12/06. It broke every summer for seven straight years in the summer. I eventually replaced the motor for the fan. The fan would freeze on a regular basis. The unit had a freon leak that required replacing freon every few years. Jacob asked me to call the Goodman company to give them the details of my situation. They would not speak to me because I was not the technician. I asked Jacob to call and he refused saying I had exaggerated the number of repairs. I had dated and documented ALL repairs. This summer I replaced the part that had the freon leak. I again filled it with freon. Today I have to replace the entire unit. The compressor is out. This was very bad business. Completely irresponsible. Furthermore he actually refused to come out the last time it broke saying he did not have time to figure out what was wrong with my air conditioner. That was the summer of the drought and I was without air for ten days.
I have been using Karen Heating and Cooling for 10+ years. They always respond in a timely manner, including a time I was without an air conditioner in 98º weather. Jake (owner) has fair pricing and gives thorough instructions. Jake and/or Kim (technician) are always the ones doing the work and not a random employee that I've never met. I would highly recommend their services.
Jacob has been a trusted resource for us with our heating and cooling needs for the past year and a half. My husband has flipped houses and Jacob installed a new HVAC system for a very reasonable rate with prompt/trustworthy service. He installed a new furnace in our own home, and walked us through all of our options before we made the decision to replace our existing furnace. Jacob gave us our options (spending $ to fix an old furnace, or spending money to buy a new furnace) and helped us with the paperwork needed to submit to our homeowners insurance to get it covered. He went above and beyond our expectations on every level, and we would suggest Jacob to any family member or friend. Jacob's partner, Kim, is also extremely friendly and we have been very happy with their service. Only great things to say about Karen Heating and Cooling!
We had Karen Heating & Cooling install furnace and central air units 12 years ago and he has been excellent with customer service and any questions we've had. We've also recommended them to other friends who have also referred them to others.
