Very very happy. Josh was very professional. He even changed the filter from the box of filters by the furnace which I was going to do after he left. He explained what he was going to do and ask if there were any questions before he left.
Great Company! Josh came out within half an hour when our AC broke on a hot day. Once he confirmed our ~25 year old system would be more expensive to fix rather than replace, and that our equally old heater was about to go, he got us scheduled very quickly for a whole system overhaul. The price ended up being less than we expected, which was great. When Gavin, Mason, Cael, and Brayden arrived to remove the old system and install the new system, they were very gracious the whole time. My whole family has autoimmune issues, so we asked that they always wear masks when inside our house. They did so without any complaint. They were very nice the whole time, while working in the cramped, awkward space our unit was crammed into in the basement. On top of that, they finished ahead of schedule. We'll definitely use them for all our future HVAC needs!
Josh and his partner fixed our AC unit quickly and professional. They did a great job getting the problem fixed. Also kudos to the girl who answered the phone on a holiday with helpful tips to try on my own. Lenz is a great, thanks for the speedy response!
We were impressed with the professionalism of Lenz from the first phone call we made. They promised to return our call the next day, which they did. They provided an emergency number if our problem needed an immediate response (we didn't). As I scheduled an appointment for our air conditioner yearly check, I was amazed when I was told the cleaning/check-up was free in thanks for my husband's military service! They called the day before to give us our arrival window, and also called the day of the appt when they were on the way. The 2 who arrived where neat, clean, professional and so polite. They got right to work and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend Lenz to everyone, especially veterans. We will be lifelong customers. Give them a try, you will be glad you did.
Totally impressed and would highly recommend. My unit quit working on a Sunday morning and they were here within half an hour. I was repaired within 30 minutes! Excellent and friendly service!
Woke to no air conditioning on a holiday weekend. Lenz had a tech in our home within 3 hours. Josh was professional and friendly, had the capacitor fixed, verified it was working and reviewed his work with me. No upscale pressure at all! Will use and recommend Lenz out of Urbandale on the future- Thanks!

Lenz H&C installed my furnace and A/C 3 years ago and did a fantastic job; they're quick, clean, and professional. This year a capacitor went bad on the A/C, Josh showed up right at the scheduled time and had the problem diagnosed & repaired in no time at all. He stayed around, in the noon-time sun, just to make sure the unit cooled and continued to run smoothly. The follow-up phone call I got the next day from Bailey(?) to see if everything was working okay was very nice. Good job everyone, I highly recommend Lenz Heating & Cooling.
Josh performed our semiannual maintenance check. Found a couple of parts that needed to be replaced. Explained why the part needed to be replaced and the price up front. We have used Lenz for years. Always a good experience.

Original comment: Came out to do routine service on our A/C unit. Found a problem with the capacitor and asked if we have noticed any problems. We said no we hadn’t. He said he was checking a few more things out. Next time I talk with him he said he replaced the capacitor and I owed X amount for the replacement. He did not ask if I wanted to get it fixed or gave me a quote ahead of time for the repair. I would have appreciated him asking me if I wanted the repair done and given a quote instead of just assuming I was ok with everything. Edited comment 6/12/23: I received a call from the owner a few days later. He was super nice and offered a satisfactory resolution to this situation. Will continue to use their service. Thank you!
Freddie was great to have come to do our system maintenance. Not only was he quick and efficient he was also personable as always. Lenz always impresses me with the fact that I was called with an earlier appointment if I wanted.
