My AC stopped functioning and we decided to call Star Heating and Cooling based on good reviews. The tech arrived the next morning and I was really impressed with the service. He identified the issue quickly and went beyond by doing a check on the unit. He also took the time to explain everything so that I knew exactly what was going on. Thanks, I am impressed.
I had a great experience with them. They installed an HVAC system in my house, and they did it quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and always on time for appointments. I would definitely use them again!

I've used them twice. They are friendly and reasonably priced. I didn't see any "upgrades" or specials that weren't mentioned up front and in writing.
They most recently fixed my hot water tank, which wouldn't work this morning. The service technician arrived on schedule and was able to fix the broken pilot light. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with their expertise, good value for the money, and job quality. I thoroughly recommend their offerings.

Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning truly cares about its customers. Our furnace had an usually loud noise when the heat kicked on. The initial fix didn't solve the problem, but they followed up with two subsequent visits until the issue was resolved. Communication with the company was pleasant and service was awesome.
I scheduled to have an HVAC technician and electrician come to my home TWO times (i.e., four appointments). The first two were no call and no shows. Wildly unprofessional. The 2nd set the electrician showed up an hour late, was uncommunicative about the process, and was not finished until around 6:30 at night. The HVAC technician, AGAIN, did not show up, despite the fact that I called the day before to confirm both appointments.

Star Heating and Cooling company is amazing! They put in our new unit 4 years ago & never any major issues. Anything had a problem, they are always here right away. The technician from Star Heating and Cooling provided excellent service in repairing our AC, which hadn't been providing cool air. For the diagnostic visit, he was professional and helped explain in simple terms what needed repairing. For the repair visit, he was able to come by almost a week earlier than the scheduled visit because he was in the neighborhood assisting someone else. The repair was done quickly and efficiently and now we have functioning AC!
Great company. Star Heating And Cooling has been consistent with our annual furnace maintenance and AC tune-ups. The tech did our spring AC checkup and during testing determined the compressor motor capacitor was out of spec and just starting to fail. We like preventive maintenance and not equipment failure so had him replace it. Would recommend checking them out!
We decided to call this place because of its excellent reviews on Google. Google was absolutely right! The technician was prompt and very professional. Our AC was on for a while without working so we had to wait a few hours before turning it on because it got overheated. He didn't accept full payment until we were sure it was working after he left. He also called to check on us a few hours later. Problem fixed and we are pleased. Thanks for the amazing service!!
This place is a joke all they care about is your money. I called set up an appointment and even sign up for emergency service which was extra and the technician called said he would be there within the time frame I had scheduled. Now it’s past the time and the technician says he called the office and told them he wasn’t going to make it tonight and was just coming in the morning. Which was never relayed to me and I happen to work the next day and it’s 90 degrees out with no air and a baby at home which they knew about and said it was no problem they would get it fixed today. I would never use the company and would never recommend them to anyone! I couldn’t even speak to a manager because they are home for the day. Must be nice.
Just had a new unit installed and the entire experience has been great. Our old unit went out and Andersen saw us that same day and got the new unit ordered and installed quickly. Everyone I encountered was informative, friendly, and patient. I would highly recommend this company and am so thankful for their help! Had a leak in my tenant's Central Air Unit. so I called Star Heating and Cooling. Joseph arrived on time and was extremely helpful in assessing what was wrong with the unit. He eventually discovered that a collection of dust and cat hair was responsible for causing a clog on the water drain pipe which caused the leak. He was very professional and courteous and the price for him to repair was very reasonable. I will continue to seek the services of Star Heating and Cooling for my future needs regarding my central air units.
