I am so grateful for Legacy today! My A/C went "belly up" last night and well, you know how fun it is to try and sleep when you are used to using things like covers. I tried my "home remedies" without any success, declared defeat and called Legacy. I was told that they were booked but would try to "work me in." Much to my delight Jake arrived a bit before 2:00 PM and worked his magic. I am cool, comfy, and looking forward to sleeping tonight! And BTW, I was prepared for a much bigger dent in my bank account!

Used this team based off of location and others reviews. Could not have made a better choice. Quick estimate (best in the area) and a 24 hour turn around for install. Team arrived right on time and were done within 6 hours with no trace left behind except cool air. Thanks Bill and the Legacy team!

Jake and Bill did a great job with finding the issue of my long lasting hvac problem!! Turned out the nest thermostat was shutting off my outside unit. They installed an Ecobee and it’s working great. Exceptional professionals with exceptional service!
Legacy goes above and beyond. I recommend them without reservation. Adam, Jake, and the team installed my mother-in-law’s furnace on the coldest day of the year while making sure she stayed warm. Legacy was there night and day until the job was done. They treated her like family. I will hire no one else when it comes to my heating and cooling needs.
I requested estimates with several local companies. Legacy Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling ended up being the best price/value. The salesman, Jake, answered all of our questions, which we had a lot of, in a very professional and humorous way. Products were installed on time and we have been very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
Great heating and air company
Our water heater was old and in need of replacement. Legacy was able to get a new one installed on the day that I called. Back up now and everyone is happy with hot showers again.

Highly recommend Legacy - we've used them for a/c repairs, furnace, and to fix a running toilet. They're always friendly, punctual, and fix the problem. Bill takes the time to explain the issue and your options. You never feel like they are trying to upsell you or anything. A good, honest company.
My furnace went out in the coldest part of winter. They came right away and diagnosed and got the part it needed and had me up and running with heat in no time. Bill was great to work with!
My heat pump failed late on December 22nd. My friend, Jake Cannon, is the General Manager of Legacy Heating & Cooling. I called him on Christmas Eve and he said they could replace my heat pump on December 27th. Jake came out on the 26th to measure and check things out for the installers. The installers arrived a little after 9am on the 27th and completed the installation by 330pm. I was very impressed with the installation crew. They were respectful, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and very efficient. The owner, Adam Ely, spent quite awhile explaining things to me and answering my questions. Added bonus: They were $6,000 less than a big name HVAC company! As a realtor, I would wholeheartedly recommend Legacy Heating & Cooling to friends, family, and clients. Five stars and two thumbs up! After unsuccessfully trying to get my 12.5-year-old heat pump working again, I decided it was time for a new heat pump system. I contacted Legacy for a quote on a new heat pump system. Jake came out to provide the quote and gave me some different options and explained the differences between them. There was absolutely no pressure and he answered all of my questions. After deciding on a 16 SEER system (an upgrade from my 13 SEER system), they were out in less than a week to get the new system installed. Jake, Bill and the rest of the team completed installation in less than a day and did a wonderful job! This is the first heat pump system I have had in my home that has actually kept my home warm in the Winter. Very pleased with their quality products and quality service! They offer fair prices and they care about their customers!!!! I was very impressed with Legacy from the first phone call through installation and would highly recommend them! Give them a call! Not having hot water sucks! With that being said Jake and his team came out and replaced our water heater after hours and stayed till the work was done and this was close to 11pm. We really appreciate Jake and the rest of the team at Legacy and will keep coming back to them for all our water heater, furnace, and AC needs. Thanks again Jake!
Jake and his crew were presented with a difficult challenge correcting the work of the original contractor (still in business out of Titon....be careful) that installed the mini split system at our home. We rely on this for our comfort-summer and winter- ......grateful for their professional dedication....highly recommended.

Jake from Legacy came out to get our existing furnace cleaned and ready for the upcoming cold weather season. Upon checking things out on our 17 year old furnace, it was clear that we would need a new system to make it through winter with no problems. Jake took us through some different options and prices and was super helpful answering all our questions. He was no pressure, and very down to earth and friendly. We decided on what we wanted to go with, and they were back to install a few days later. Adam and the installation team were very nice and thorough. They explained things when needed and cleaned up any mess they made during the process. They delivered outstanding customer service and were very fairly priced. I would highly recommend the Legacy Mechanical Heating and Cooling team to anyone looking for the services they offer. As a bonus, they are locally owned and operated here in Noblesville!
