These folks are awesome. He came and assessed our system, indicated that it could be fixed and gave a quote, discussed with us the fact that our system is old, did not pressure us to buy new, let us decide and once we decided to replace both heating and air, they were timely, efficient and very friendly. This is family business ran well.
Todd Spade is the only HVAC Company I will use. I have used him for about 31 years. Before that all I got was ripped off by other competitors. Todd has fixed or repaired my furnace, air conditioner (34 yr old model he kept running) and finally I called to have all systems replaced. HVAC completely replaced and not only was Todd Spade reasonably priced for that big of a job, but he did it in a timely manner, was professional and exceptionally detail oriented. Our AC bill has been reduced 20-25% already. Use Spade, you will not be disappointed.
Todd was incredibly honest and upfront. He did not pressure any additional purchases or sales. Very good pricing. Other big name companies come in and just try to find something wrong. There will always be issues with systems, but Todd is honest about findings and realistic about the severity of those issues. Give him a call, you will not regret it.
As a general contractor I've had the opportunity to use Todd's services on numerous occasions. He has always been honest and affordable. He takes pride in his work and it shows.
Wouldn't return my call. I left a message for them on Thursday and here it is Monday and still no call back. Needed a new HVAC system, time is money I going to the original company that looked at it and gave me an estimate. Just called them and paided in full for my new system and they are coming out Wednesday morning, your loss Todd Spade. Note, I was recommended by multiple people I work with that your company was the one to use, I gave you a fair chance.

Todd is extremely knowledgeable. He is helpful and clear about what needs to be done. I have used a variety of heating and air companies with rental homes and continued to be disappointed with their inability to diagnose and treat the issues when coming out. It takes Todd little time to find out what’s wrong and to fix it. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable person for heating and air.
AC died on Memorial Day weekend and Todd was there within hours, to keep my family cool. Very friendly, professional, and reasonable.

Todd Spade heating and air-conditioning is possible the best, most honest, and friendly company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Todd and Grandson Todd are a pleasure to have done business with. Recently I had my Air condoning upgraded after the 14 year old unit decided to stop working. The 2 Todd's worked very hard and went over and above what he had initially quoted me with extra material and labor without any extra charges. This is what's called "Customer Service"! The new AC unit is unbelievable! What a difference! It actually shuts off during the day. Can't wait until next year to see how much $$ it saved me. Trustworthy, Honest people/Company! They might be Fort Wayne's best kept secret! Although I have no Idea why anyone would want to keep them a secret! Thank you Todd and Todd. Keep up the good work!
My AC unit stopped working on a hot Sunday(Father's Day). I called Todd the next morning on the recommendation of several people who assured me he was a fair and upstanding man. They were definitely right. He came out the same day I called him and had my AC unit running in no time. I asked him to show the best way to keep the coils clean and he graciously accepted as well, instead of trying to sell me an expensive service for something apparently so simple. The total bill was perfectly reasonable for same day service and now my AC is once again humming happily along. I will gladly continue calling on him with whatever needs I may have, and I'll be recommending him to anyone who asks.
I'm biased. This is my father’s company. With that said, I have valuable information for someone in need of Heating and Air Conditioning service. I have seen first hand how Dad runs his company, and how he treats customers and employees. I have made friends with employees and met many of his clients. One thing is consistent... Everybody trusts my Dad. His customers don't even ask him for a price. "I trust you Todd. Just do it." They would tell me as a kid "If you can be half the person that your father is, you're doing well." ...and with a confident nod. Over thirty years in his shadow now and I concur. I have looked up to my father and it has done me well. He genuinely cares about people. That's it. He’s not the best salesman on paper. But he knows his job. He's honest and has a big heart. He's not interested in selling people anything they don't need. He is upset that other companies are dishonest with them for a sale. He sets the record straight, and without saying anything negative about the dishonest company. He's not promoting unreasonably low prices to get in the door. He's fair, God fearing, and humble. This is the kind of person you should want working in your home or business. His children and employees have their work cut out for them. My advice, give Dad a call. See for yourself.
