We had Poormans replace our AC condensers and they did a phenomenal job and were extremely responsive. The same day we called they had someone out to inspect our system and within a week we were back up and running. 100% recommend Poormans to anyone requiring a timely, quality repair/replacement on their heating or AC.
I had an maintain agreement with Rolf Griffin for years. I was told at their last visit that it would cost over 4k for a repair., but suggested that I replace the entire system with their Advanced program. I got a second opinion from Poormans, and my repair cost was $570. Mike was the technician that was sent out, and he had us back up and running right away. He was very professional, but most of all he was honest. Thanks Mike we appreciate it all. BLESSINGS!
We went about 2 weeks on the coldest days and Poormans came to the rescue. Our boiler had broke down and they found a way to get us a. Ew one at a price we can afford being on a fixed income. Even offered space heaters for us until the new boiler was here and installed. They went above and beyond.
This company is a life saver in the winter time. It's relieving to know that they ensure 24/7 support in the winter months, and as close to immediate response as possible. Definitely recommend.

I bought a new water heater from Menards 2 years ago for $400 and it stopped working last night. I called poor man’s and they showed up the same day. They replaced my bad part and BAM HOT WATER! $265 for the part and $350 labor and tax $600 total to fix my $400 water heater.
I called Poorman's when my furnace wasn't working. And even with their busy schedule, they fit me in the same day I called! Their technician was so nice, smart and professional, and he had my furnace running in no time. This company really knows customer service!
WOW!!!! A RESOUNDING ❤️WOW❤️!! My heat randomly quit at my place of employment at what happened to be the most freezing cold morning EVER! I called Poormans and was greeted with a very kind calming voice. She reiterated that someone without heat will be a priority (even with their filled day). The technician arrived and was very thorough and fixed our broken furnace! Thank you so very much Poormans, anyone in need should reach out to you! Your professionalism IS TOP NOTCH!! Make sure you ask the price before you even call these guys out to fix anything. Otherwise, you will get a sock with the bills at the end. Get charged $1500 for just the ice machine. Will not recommend it to anyone in fort Wayne!! Scams

They started being dishonest right from the get-go. They worked extremely slow to milk the clock because they charge by the hour. Then did not do more than one aspect before calling in another person to charge us for that as well. That person did nothing but stand around and socialize and we were billed for it. They also did damage to my unit and claimed an electrician did it. After saying they would call us the following day to schedule finishing the work, we heard nothing for 4 days. They literally did an hours work and billed us $600 !!! I terminated them and had an excellent company come and they literally had my unit up and running within an hour and a half and I couldn't be happier with the results. DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS. (THEY'RE NOT WHAT THE PARENTS WERE WHO RETIRED.)
I received a text and a call 30 minutes before service man arrived as a heads up that he was in his way. He was friendly and did a great job. Our A/C was working within 30 to 40 minutes and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend their services and will personally use the in them in the future if I need them😊
