I'll pay my $862 for a gas valve and hot surface ignitor replacement but I will be using another HVAC contractor next time. I believe the cost of the job to be highly overpriced. I don't ask to be given a cheap price or any sort of discount, I understand that everyone has to put food on the table. But please be reasonable with your rates. Update: After reading the reply from Aire Serv, yes I approved the cost of repair. I felt somewhat obligated to go forward with the repair since the tech had already invested time into the job and I knew I would be charged for the trip there anyway. Calling this "out of town" is highly subjective to where the company is located. This residence is located inside the county that the business operates out of, they could've been 5 minutes away or an hour away based on where the company is located in the county they operate out of. The tech did not plan on replacing filters until I reminded him of what was previously discussed with the terms of the replacement of the valve and ignitor. I'm really just writing this review for the next person to do their due diligence (as I didn't) and get prices prior to any HVAC company coming out. Update: the original problem persisted and I called another company out the next day and they found a spiderweb in the gas line. No problems since.
The install went off without a hitch, great price, works great. They also do my maintenance (tune-ups)--great price, always on time, very professional and personable.

Jamie is a great guy with years of experience. Honest and fair plus the warranty is tops in the industry.
My AC wasn't cooling the house and was looking for someone to help. I called them and they schedule me for next day morning. Jamie, the professional maintenance person, came exactly on time, he is very professional and nice. He even helped me with my furnace filter, he showed me the place and how to place a new filter. I asked him about the problem with my AC and he was very happy to explain and we enjoy the conversation. I recommend this company and specially Jamie.

Jamie and Ian were great! Jamie came out the same day I called him to do a quote for me. Two days later, Jamie and Ian were installing a whole HVAC system for me with an added on humidifier. They did an excellent job. They were fast, professional, and got me a great deal. I had to call them a week later, due to ignorance on my part with humidifiers (never owned one prior) and they got back to me right away. Jamie was very informative and helpful. He sent Ian back out to check things for me and explain to me how things work . Will continue doing business with them in the future. Give them a call, you won't regret it!

This is the second time I've used Aireserv. Thought I would need a whole new water heater, but Jamie came in, looked it over, and said that it as an element/thermostat and save me hundreds! I'm just so thankful I have someone to call that I know will be honest, fair and straightforward about what I truly need! Original review: Jamie was wonderful to work with! Told me everything he was doing, not that I understood everything, but took the time with me. Once he was all done, the clean up was just like he'd never been there. I highly recommend him!
AIRE Serv took care of my heating needs and I'm so thankful. I was able to get my furnace repaired right before the snow storm. My tech, Jamie was on time and very professional. Jamie and Brad were fabulous. I am so happy that I found Aire Serv and decided to go with this company to replace my geothermal unit. They were so great to work with. My unit seemed to need expensive repairs every 6 months and needed replacement so I started looking around and Aire Serv seemed to have quality equipment, a fair price, and good values. Everyone there is so professional and friendly. I really enjoyed getting to know them and am very pleased with the results and feel very comfortable that if I have any questions, I can call and get them answered. Thanks Jamie and Brad and everyone else that works so hard keep us warm this winter!!

We contacted Aire Serv for a concern with our furnace. We ended up needing a new furnace and they had it installed the next day! The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Vic was outstanding! He was professional, courteous, and explained everything! He worked with us to repair and then replace our current (outdated) furnace with the kind of customer service that is almost impossible to find these days. Highly recommend this gentleman!
