By far Jimmy is one of the best around, his companies attention to detail and customer service is second to none. Forget 4 Seasons and ABC, because the only one you should be calling for your HVAC needs is him!!
We've been leaning on Jimmy and iTemp for years, and they have delivered time and time again. Heat went out the day before hosting Thanksgiving? They took care of it. Regular clean and inspects? They took care of it. Wanted a new thermostat and humidifier installed? They took care of it. There's a reason we've been going to them for years and won't go anywhere else! If you have any heating/air needs and are in the Chicago area, this is the only call you should make.
I called this company on a Sunday morning because of an AC repair I needed. I received a message that their mail box is full and cannot accept new messages at this time. Seriously? Based on the positive reviews here, I was hoping to hire them, but I will not do business with a company if I cannot contact them via phone or be able to leave a phone message. What is the point of providing a phone number contact option if a potential or current customer cannot get through on it?
I cannot recommend Jimmy and iTemp heating and air conditioning enough. Anyone that has boiler heating will tell you that it isn't easy finding a reputable and knowledgeable company that will work on them without messing anything up. When I needed a boiler service (it of course happened on a Saturday...at 5 PM ) Jimmy answered the phone even though he was out of state. As if that wasn't enough he patiently talked to me and then FaceTime'd me so that we could figure out what was wrong with the boiler together and whether or not it could wait until his return on Monday. The issue could not wait so I ended up having to call a different company but words cannot express how thankful I am that Jimmy took the time to really educate me on what the problem could be. It made communicating with another company so much easier. In the future I will definitely be using Jimmy and Itemp for all of my heating and air-conditioning needs because I was blown away by his service. Thanks Jimmy!
We have used iTempHVAC a few times and have been extremely happy with them. Their service has been incredible and their pricing is hard to beat.
Jimmy showed up on time for each visit. He was straightforward and honest. He even took no offense when I thought I'd go with a home owner's warranty. However, after thinking about what Jimmy recommended versus what I would get with the warranty service, I decided to go with Jimmy. Jimmy's explanation for why he uses the equipment he does was clear, comprehensible, and really just came with a strong sense of honesty, integrity, and authenticity. He was able to get my house warm and cozy again ASAP! The best part, he loved our new four legged friend! He even took time to play with our new fur baby. Jimmy did say it best - when it comes to people, dogs know. Our new little pup even took to Jimmy in a millisecond! The work done was clean, fast, efficient, no mess, beautifully installed, and Jimmy and one of the other guys that came along even educated me on some best practices to get the most out of my new furnace Also... to throw this in... the first thing he did upon his first visit was look at my nest that came with the home we purchased. Right away, he saw it wasn't wired properly and just fixed that without going into anything else. Just one and done no questions asked out of the goodness of his heart. Would I recommend - YES If I ever need him again, will I call iTemp? - ABSOLUTELY Thanks for everything, iTemp team!

iTemp Heating and Air Conditioning was referred to me last Winter when our upstairs furnace went out. Jim was there the next day at no extra charge. Pricing is more than fair. When we had a 4 yr old a/c compressor go out again iTemp was there promptly. When the issue was a brand specific which iTemp does not carry Jim once again steered me in the right direction and how to verify the warranty on the compressor. It’s great to have “a guy” like Jim & iTemp!
We love iTemp! Jimmy is fantastic! He answered all of our questions, provided us guidance on what we should and shouldn't do, got us a great deal on a new air conditioner and heater, and was generally pleasant to work with. When it came time to install, iTemp was professional, installing everything in the time they said they would, and they even came back to fix a minor issue we had at no cost. If you're looking for a business with Customer Care as one of it's top priorities, this is it.
We've had two wonderful experiences with iTemp! March 2017 - At 6pm on the Sunday before a big snow, we realized our heat had completely stopped working. I reached out to a couple big name companies with no response (if you live in the area, you know who I'm referring to). Then I called and left a message with iTemp. I fully expected to not hear anything after being let down by the others, but Jimmy responded within 20 minutes. He walked me through what to do for our furnace for the evening and scheduled an appt for the morning. I received a response from another company, but after briefly talking to Jimmy, I didn't want to work with anyone else. They provided a time frame, called ahead, and arrived when they said they would. It took less than 10 minutes for them to diagnose the problem while walking me through the issue and educating me on it so I wasn't in the dark. They returned with the piece they needed very quickly and had it installed and the system back up and running in 15 minutes. The pricing was spot on, the service was great, and I feel like a more knowledgeable consumer after talking to them. January 2018 - The flame sensor in our very old furnace had collected a thick layer of soot, triggering a safety feature that turned off the unit. Having had issues with the system in the past, I scheduled with Jimmy to come out to look at the unit on Saturday. When he came out, he inspected it and found a new problem, the dreaded rust and cracking. He showed me the damage, explained it thoroughly, and informed me of the danger of a carbon monoxide leak had we continued to use it. We were facing every homeowners worst nightmare, it was time for the furnace to be replaced. Rather than sell to us and use jargon, he made us comfortable, explained the system, the replacement, and the process should we only replace the 20 year old furnace and not the 20 year old AC. After speaking with Jimmy, we felt confident in our decision to replace both and he quoted us fairly on
Great outfit--can't say enough about Jimmy and the guys at iTemp. Quality work--low pressure quotes, and helpful advice for the frugal first-time homeowner that isn't eager to replace an old furnace. Honestly, working with a bunch of contractors on fixer-upper home can be a pain in the neck, but my experience with iTemp was totally painless. I just had a new furnace installed during a frigid string of single-temp days, and Jimmy was an absolute professional. I had him out to my place three times before finally deciding to pull the trigger and I wish I'd have listened to his advice on the first visit! High recommendation!
I cannot thank this company enough! My tenant's furnace broke late in the evening with 10 degree temps outside. The temperature in her unit had already dropped 15 degrees. I called several companies, including the company I purchased the furnace from, desperate to get it fixed. iTemp called me back immediately. In fact, he was the only one that called me back. Understanding my plight, the owner was kind enough to diagnose the problem over the phone and guided me through making the repair. I'm not sure any other company would have been so nice. Thanks to him, I can sleep peacefully tonight and most importantly, my tenant will be warm and there won't be any frozen pipes (which happened when the old furnace broke).

We could not be happier with the service that itemp provided. After bringing them out for a second opinion on a bad compressor it turned out that we only needed a new capacitor vs a new unit. They are a top notch and honest hvac company. We love Jimmy and his technicians.
