So ac went out Saturday night June 24th. Woke up Sunday of course to a nice hot home. We've used AMK in the past and was great so called 1st thing Monday morning. They were on point but had to find a unit and then install. Was told with 4th of July holiday and such probably after that. They worked a miracle with 100 degree temps coming they located the correct unit, had an installer here Thursday the 29th and 4hrs later were cool again! Thank you Darryl and crew! You truly show pride in your work and personally came to my home to inspect to make sure all was performed properly! Looking for a terrific, local heating and cooling company.....give them a call! Not dependable! Office manager will literally confirm the appointment date and time frame but no one ever shows up. No call, no show on more than 2 occasions. Never again!
I was promised the 6th of April that a crew would be here the 14th of April to do a repair that was promised last year. When I called today to find out what time to expect them, I found out that they had never been scheduled and now they want to come two weeks later. They have gotten two big and are not reliable.
This is company is there for its clients. I have been so impressed with the attention to detail and the care shown to us! We had a major gas leak with Ameren ready to shut us down. It was the dead of winter and we would have been without heat! They were at our house in 20 minutes and had the problem taken care of us! The problem required a plumber, but they put a fix on to give us time for the plumber to get there! Would highly recommend AMK! Call me anytime if you need any more information on this company!

Would not recommend this company. Been using them for a year now and every single time there has been an issue getting in contact. Once an appointment was set, more than one time they have just not shown up or cancelled same day. We paid to be a part of their membership, but was never actually able to get them to come out when there was an issue. They just kept saying they were "too busy" or just didn't answer my calls. Was told more than once that they called me to inform me that the technician was on the way and I never picked up so they just never came. But I actually never got a call. We will be going with a different hvac company which is professional, on time, doesn't try to blame no shows on me, and is also actually cheaper.
Darryl and Caden installed a new thermostat for us. It would not play nice with the furnace. They kept working at it and got it to go. No troubles now. I cannot say enough good things about this company! Now it is September 20, 2022. Dmitri came out and had our AC running withing 15 minutes. You all are on it!!!!
The home owner contracted with AMK Heating and Cooling Services to install a new residential heating and air conditioning HVAC system. The PVC exhaust flue and intake pipes for the furnace were installed crooked and the couplings were not completely pushed together or “seated.” With vibration, this may create the potential for future carbon monoxide leaks. The condensate hose must be removed and leaks water onto the floor each time the air filter is changed. The owner pointed out the installation deficiencies and the concern that building inspectors for future potential home buyers may note the installation issues. AMK refused to acknowledge or correct the problems. The home owner has since purchased new PVC piping, couplings to replace the exhaust flue pipe, as well as a valve for the condensate hose that leaks water onto the laundry room floor each time the air filter is changed. Photos of a torpedo level on the HVAC exhaust and intake pipes clearly demonstrate the crooked installation. AMK Heating and Cooling Services would not leave a copy of the system Installation Manual or system warranty. The customer had to download the Installation Manual from the internet and will file the HVAC system warranty.
I was looking to use AMK for a second opinion on an issue another company found back in May and establish a maintenance plan. After around 6 phone calls and 2.5 months of “we’ve been very busy, we’ll call you when we have availability”, they finally agreed to schedule the Friday I could stay home from work with an “all day” window and promised someone would come. Once 3:30pm came, I received a phone call that there was no chance of them coming. After close to 3 months of “it’ll be soon, don’t worry!” I’m sure they’re a great company, but unfortunately I never got to find out. Hopefully they’ll be more reliable with appointments in the future. Their chance of getting 5 stars is “it’ll happen soon, don’t worry!”
Very responsive. Always knowledgeable and friendly with their service. Used them several times the last 8 years for both heating and A/C issues with an older house. Highly recommend AMK!
They showed up on time, were very expedient with repair and ended up charging us very little. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

I've been a satisfied AMK customer for 10+ years. Recently needed their services for an emergency AC repair, followed several weeks later for regular PM services. On both occasions the staff was prompt, professional, thorough and courteous. Kudos to Darryl and the service team for their great work!

Had install done yesterday. Everyone involved from sales to install have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Did not try to up sale me. 2 guys did job in one day. Everything is working great! Great experience!
I have used AMK services twice. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. Excellent customer service, very friendly, honest, etc. Overall good people. They do quality work. Very responsive and quick with repairs.
Our furnace went out. We had a technician there then next day. Figured out the problem and was able to get us up and running again. Thanks

I realize with all of the new technology, information is obtainable with the click of a button. I have created a business over the past 30 years that I have tried to base on honesty, reliability, and dependability. Google reviews, as much as they are looked at, I have no control over but yet I do. With that said, I do not screen or filter any reviews about my company. Anyone that is in business knows that there will always be a few disgruntled people that believe they have received the short end of the stick. I can only assure you that out of thousands of customers that I have on file and the ones that are new to us, I always try and address anyone's concerns and always have and always will. It is, after all, my name and my company. Any negative reviews, I can assure have been addressed and resolved.
