This is a wonderful company. I use them for my business. During the past year, they have been out several times after I was experiencing roof leaks. The landlord was claiming the leaks came from the AC (which Central did not install) but the leaks were coming from the roof. Central helped me to continue to build the case for the leaks being in the roof which helped me to get the landlord to address the problem. Their technician spent many many hours on multiple occassions on the roof, in the ceiling helping us to document this issue. And they did not charge me for the effort. I love their helpful and kind technicians.
I’ve used them since 2017 they are really terrific. I wish more companies were like this. The young man that was here this morning was pleasant and professional. Wish you had more than 5 stars!
Just before the temperature dropped in December my heating and air system decided to retire. Central responded quickly ( I was a new customer) I was able to get an install rather quickly. Everyone was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with!! Chris was the bomb with all my needs. Highly recommended!! They are a fantastic team!! Thank you!!
Company answered phone on first call. Quickly got scheduled. Don was great! Came up with creative (and inexpensive) solution for drainage repair. Don was very professional and friendly. Also, explained everything he did and answered all of my questions.

Central does a terrific job of keeping our HVAC system running perfectly. One of our systems is older and one is new, yet they never beat me up about replacing the old one. They always say, if it works, it works, no need to replace it yet. I appreciate it being so easy. If you need HVAC work. Call them.
After my current company could not service my heater for a week or do a prepaid maintenance check for two months, I called Central. My heat was off this week before Christmas....."and all through the house". Central scheduled a tech who said an electronic board replacement would cost about $1000 on my 23-year-old furnace. He arranged for an estimate to repair or replacement that same afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon, I will have a new heater. It is not what I asked Santa to bring, but I am grateful to have a professional plan in place so quickly. It is a tribute to Central that in this economy they are well staffed with technical and support personal....not just sales. I am still waiting for Cool Air Mechanical to call me back and explain why they cannot "deliver".
Richard was the technician that came out to my house today. Very professional explained everything that he did made a few recommendations without any pressure. Would highly recommend this company and Richard. Sidenote, get the man some business cards. LOL
This company gets an A++ from me! From the tech that had the hard job of telling me my AC unit had died, to the salesman that sold me two new units, to the installers. The experience was painless! Everyone of them was very responsive and professional. It’s not great to have your AC die in August in Georgia so that part was unpleasant but the service that was delivered from this team made it easier. I might have gotten a better price from a big box store but I guarantee the service and professionalism from Central can not be beat. There is A LOT to be said for that!
We have used Central Heating & Sir Conditioning for 15+ years. They have always been very consistent with their service or installation services. We normally request Robert as he has always been very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to servicing our HVAC systems. He always takes the time to investigate, troubleshoot, diagnose and explain his findings on our systems.
We recently had a problem with our AC unit so I called Central Heating and Air and asked if we could have our same technician we had previously. John came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. Our blower needed repaired, but do to improper home construction, the roof support was obstructing the unit and the blower could not be removed without taking out the support board. John determined the unit needed to be moved and he came back the next day and moved both our units so there was proper radius around both to service and repair in the future and he successfully replaced the blower. All of this was done timely and efficiently. He also showed us pictures so we could see the issue and solution along with him. John was friendly and respectful of our home and we are thankful for his kindness and hardwork!
The absolute best HVAC company I have experience. I was searching for a company that could install a new hvac system for my home and Central Heating had the best all around deal. First, the customer service is top level. They couldn’t do the install for several days since it was a holiday weekend so they offered portable AC units for home until appointment. Secondly, the installation process was amazing. The techs, Fernando and Alan, were superior. They kept me well informed during the whole time letting me know what to expect, what they were doing, and advising of any delays. Fernando and Alan explained everything and took pictures of all the work they completed which I really appreciated. To top it off they offer a 5 year labor warranty which shows they stand behind their work and this is more than most companies. Highly recommend!
Yesterday our AC stopped working after hours I call the emergency number and received a call back within 10 minutes. Technician came out within 30 minutes and was able to fix the issue. I know I can always count on your services with great professionalism and promptness. The heat has been crucial and I am gland I got your services. Central Heating and Air, it has been a great experience, very professional and prompt. My Furnace went out in the middle of harsh winter and the crew was there to identify the issue quickly and arrange for a new install in 2 days. Amazing Service and I am very happy with the quality and professionalism. Thank you so much!

I am going to leave the original bad review so potential customers can understand Central's willingness to right wrongs and do some old fashioned good business. Thank you Central! Thanks Don and Bill! I hate to have to change my review to 1 star but here goes. I live in a loft building. Two years ago I had issues with my HVAC system and the owners of my unit at the time(I've since purchased the unit from them) decided to go with Central to check it out. They came out and determined that the entire unit needed replaced. $7k or $8k for the job to get done(added to the purchase price of my loft naturally). The landlord at the time decided to go ahead with it. After an admittedly difficult install due to the odd layout of the space I was happy with results and professionalism of Central. A month or two passed and the AC went out again. As I had inherited a preferred customer membership, Central was very prompt in coming out and"fixing" the problem. It was a condenser or fuse or something of that sort. Another few months pass and then boom, out again... Again Central very prompt and professional response. These things happen I thought, no big deal. Over the next 18 months the unit went out 4 or 5 more times. Central has given me all sorts of diagnosis from drain pipe to safety switch to fuse to condenser. The last trip out Bill, who is great, had to remove a connector on my drain pipe to bypass the safety switch which required me to drain the condensation into a bucket. He informed me that the office would be in touch with me the early the next week(it was Friday) to schedule them coming out to permanently fix. As he promised the office was in touch with me the next week but not to schedule anything, they were calling to collect +$100 payment for his visit. So I'm sitting here watching condensation drain into a bucket that I have to empty twice a day being told that owe them money for that se
I've had nothing but great experiences with Central..they replaced builder grade units and set up a system that allows us to use our cellphones to set thermostats away from the house. Even better...I have recommended Central to so many friends and everyone has come back to say "Thanks" bc of the way they were treated and how EVERYTHING that was promised was delivered upon.
Robert arrived on time and worked very hard to get our AC working again. He answered all our questions. We were very pleased with him.
Seth Cunningham took great care of us today! Our AC was not cooling the house. He showed up within a few hours of our calling in. He was very professional, explained our options, and an hour and half later we’re cool and comfortable! Second time using this great company and they’re now our “go to” for HVAC...Even the receptionist (Melissa??) was a pleasure to speak to and got us scheduled immediately!!
I hired Central Heating & Air Condition to replace the existing, poorly installed ductwork in my attic as well as to seal and add insulation to the attic. They were quick and concise to nail down the scope of the project and answer my questions. However when it came to installation there were a couple initial issues. First, I was not notified of my installation date, the installers just showed up one morning. Finally, after they left on the first day without letting me know the next steps, I inspected the work and found several issues related to serviceablity and workmanship; things like not being able to remove the air filter because it was blocked in by ductwork. I notified Central of these issues and they were very quick to respond. They scheduled an engineer and a top tier installation crew to come out. They worked with me to address my concerns and complete the project. Now two months later, I'm very happy with the project. HVAC runtime has been cut in half and the temperatures are much more even across the house. Overall I'd recommend Central Heating & Air Condition of Georgia, they do great work and they were quick to address my concerns.
Central Heating & Air is the absolute best HVAC company in metro-Atlanta. My realtor recommended them, and I'm so grateful she did. Dakota, Reggie, and Fernando went above and beyond in addressing a challenge I was having in my home with high indoor humidity, despite another company having waterproofed my crawlspace and other steps taken. Instead of responding with a generic list of services they offer, like so many other companies, Dakota and his colleagues took on the issues with my house as if they were as invested as my family in solving the puzzle. They didn't over-sell or over-promise. They explained the different options and the pros and cons of each thoroughly. When performing the work, they were extremely nice and professional, as well as patient and gracious in answering my many questions. Afterward, they checked in to see how the measures they took were working out. And, best of all, they solved the problem - something two other companies were unable to do! I'm just so grateful to Central for their high-quality work and professionalism and for making my house a much more pleasant place to live. Thank you!
I originally contacted Central Heating for the replacement of my AC unit at my house. My AC unit was diagnosed by some other company before and I was given a quotation for the replacement. I called Central on Tuesday and Dakota came out to give the quotation on Wednesday morning. After listening to what the problem with my unit was, Dakota suggested that I have the technician to check my AC unit before replacing it, because my AC unit might not need to be replaced based on his professional opinion. He was able to make an arrangement for Robert to come out and check the unit a few hours later. After thorough examination of my unit, Robert was able to find out the motor was wired incorrectly by my previous repairman and fixed the problem immediately. Now my AC works just fine. I was pleasantly surprised by Central's honesty and professionalism. Central did not sell the unit this time but they gained my trust, and I will definitely call them again when I need any service or the replacement on my AC unit eventually.
