They showed up and gave the best quote. I was surprised that so many companies are not dependable but this one is amazing. Cameron was so knowledgable and provided lots of details on the system. His expertise is just insane. He spent the day fixing and helping me get our A/C unit up and running. I cannot be more happy! I will recommend them forever!
Curt was honest and upfront about the issues and what needed to be repaired. Technician came out and fixed the problem for less that 1/4 of what other companies had tried to charge me. Very honest. Would absolutely recommend them and use them in the future.

I used to fear hvac problems at the house. Not so afraid now after Curt came out. Super great and easy to work with. More than fair. I have 2 neighbors that are heating and air repairmen and they will never do as great as the experience we just had.
I was scheduled between 10-12pm for HVAC service. Called to get ETA at 11:44 since no one had shown up. Owner answered and said that there was a problem but he would personally come out at 2pm that same day. Never heard back from him. So I wasted my whole day waiting to hear from them and never got my service. Very disappointed.
On 5/17/2016 I purchased from Curts Affordable heating and air, located on Thompson Bridge Rd in Gainesville Georgia, a new 4Ton, 14 SEER heat pump. Curt Chappell, the owner included, in writing, two extra years of seasonal maintenance, over and beyond the factory warrantee, a value of $550.00, per Curt. In the fall of 2016 I contacted Mr. Chappell a number of times to request maintenance of the unit for winter service but encountered al kind of excuses and “no shows”. Finally, on 11/26/18 he showed to do the job. In the spring of 2017 I contacted him for spring service, I contacted him every different way possible, over and over again, left messages, texts and emails, to no avail. The man simply did not respond. To make things even worse, my heating bill for January was astronomical, it was so bad that in February, 2018 I requested an energy audit from Sawnee Electric, suspecting that something was wrong. They concluded that the heat pump did not operate correctly causing the heat strip to operate more frequently, increasing my electric bill. I forwarded this information to him, but no matter what I did, I could not get any response from Curts DEPENDABLE heating and air. (The audacity to use this name is difficult to comprehend) In July of 2018 I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau and guess what, they contacted him twice but did not get any response from him either. It appears, based on my experience, that promises and commitments from Curts Dependable heating and air, after payment, end, at the end of your driveway. I ended up paying another qualified technician to do the long overdue maintenance. I have no idea how Curts Reliable heating and air managed to be rated as 4.7 out of 5. Are they all genuine and written by real customers? PLEASE BEWARE, when doing business with this company, THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!!!
I am writing this 5-star review from my incredibly cool office (thanks to Curt and his crew). The old system in the building finally gave up the ghost and I'm thrilled at how fast and economically we are back to chillin. Bring on the Summer Heat Wave -- You Don't Scare Me!
I should have taken the time to do a review long ago. He really lives out the “dependable” part of the name. Numerous calls and always excellent work. He’s helped us extend the life of equipment and replaced units. He cares about his work. He’s not just collecting a paycheck. The difference is just so obvious. If there were 10 stars, he would still deserve them.

Curt came out on a Saturday and was a few minutes earlier than his appointment. He was trying to work us in and was early. This tells you how amazing his service is. We called him after other "Pro's" could not solve the problem. He had diagnosed and had our system working in just a few minutes. Our system is a bit complicated. It's a dual fuel heat pump with a nest thermostat and a steam humidifier. He was a consummate professional. The only thing better than his service is the man himself. He is a good man. He is an honest man. After hearing him receive the highest recommendations, I was skeptical. He more than lived up to his reputation. I give him the highest recommendation. He is a good man doing the best work!
