Paid for an annual maint. Usually 99.00 dollars.Ending up 493.00. A thermostat mark up. Sent two guys out and usually send one. 120.00 labor. Thermostat was 149.00 priced same one for 60.00. Won't use them again.
On my way to work someone bringing an air Gibson mechanical truck almost ran me off the road SEVERAL times and almost hit me several times. Your people shouldn't be driving a company truck if they're not going to drive safely!
Initially I was going to give them a 5 star for quick response and repair. I was so happy with them I wanted to hire them for additional work , I wanted them to make sure the registers and supply line had no leaks(I repaired several) along with adding an additional line. The office scheduled me for their maintenance service, which would take care of that along with doing a full check of the unit itself. In short they assured me that the unit and ducts were in good working order( no leaks). They apologized for the inconvience but said they couldnt add the additional duct because the office only asked that they give me an estimate, but that they couldnt do that either because they couldnt get to the ducts to measure. I found that odd because I can see the ducts without crawling to it. I also worked under there and did a lot of work myself .....I am over 200 pounds with an injured knee and was able to get to the ducts. They also asked me how are the ducts running under the house. I didnt think much of it at the time but later realized they should have known the size of the duct and how they were ran because I just paid for them to make sure there were no leaks(yikes). The other issue is they left my crawlspace open and the helper pulled my vapor barrier back and left it. I am upset as I spent a month cleaning, insulating and installing vapor barrier. They know that leaving the crawlspace open is an invitation for wild life to nest and ruin all the work I did. They also promised to come back and make things right, 4 months later and nothing. My advise if you hire GIBSON AIR please educate yourself on how the work should be done, watch and make sure they are doing the described work in hand, Before paying them make sure you are satisfied with the workmanship and the condition they are leaving the worksite(your home) . You may also want to take photos of the area to show what it looked liked before and after the work.
