Don’t trust them with anything!! You will regret it!! In 2021 I needed a Company to do maintenance on my AC unit. So I knew Jerry who is the Smithco supervisor. I thought that I trust his guidance on how to clean my AC Unit. He setup the date to do the maintenance. I was worried so he agreed to help me to climb to my roof and to spray some coils cleaner. Then to let it to sit for a few days ( so please don’t do that, cause leaving on coils cleaner for too long can damage the , coils even more which is what happened to me) mean while his people were coming next Friday. In the other hand, he started to convince me to buy a new AC unit through his Company. Nicely telling me that he was going to HELP me and I didn’t need to be worried about it.. Cause i was covered. Well, then his people came and supposedly they did their job.. They also charged me for a part that online was 20 dollars and they charged me 150 dollars.. When I told him, he gave me such an absurd attitude and he said that Normally Companies are doing that!! Really??? This year I hired someone else and they showed me how bad were those coils.. They couldn’t do anything about it!! Honestly when you are hiring someone is to get better service not worse one. They are really dishonest !!! I felt they abused and they took advantage cause I am a woman and they thought that I am an easy target? Seriously???and I didn’t have any guy around.. So, please please be careful!! Don’t trust them!!
Highly recommend Smithco Services for all your A.C. Needs! I called for maintenance and they came out in less then 24 hrs! The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Devon and Chris!
Was nervous to use this company after my terrible experience with aztil ac, however after using smythco to fix my ac they restored my faith that there are some honest tradesmen still out there. They correctly diagnosed my freon leak and filed my warranty info with the manufacture. They changed out the bad coil at reasonable rate. They didnt try to sell me another ac unit like the other guys ( btw my ac unit is only 7 yrs old and doesnt need to be replaced). Overall I just want to say I am happy with their service and will use them again in ths future for my home ac needs.
We were referred to Smithco by another funeral home. We are so pleased they did! Smithco goes beyond the call of duty. They stand behind all their work, and if we have an emergency, they scramble a technician to take care of it. The technicians they send are first class, and knowledgeable in what they do. We are so grateful to have a working relationship with Smithco, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Well its been a while and I keep forgetting to give credit where credit is due. We have been having our two A/C's worked on for over 5 years with Smithco. They have always been top notch and do what they say and charge a fair price. But this last visit from them they sent A young guy who was fairly new to the company and what a pleasure it was. Marx Cody went well above the normal to make sure all was taken care of. He found an issue and gave me a price to fix and it was done. With another issue he discovered and informed us and we weren't ready to do it. He said it would last a bit and he would get me a price and he did with in hours of leaving. He cleaned everything better than it was when he arrived and was so kind and knowledge to what he was doing. I will surely be continuing our relationship with this group and definitely ask for Marx Cody to be the one to return and take care of us

Jake and jeremy, the two techs that have come out, were thorough and explained what we need to do to keep the humidity down in our 1931 home. Both very friendly. Would not use another company. It seems that Smithco only hires the BEST. Cody Marx has been out 2x and is a joy to work with. So happy and honest.
Just wanted to say that I have never used Smithco Services in the past for any projects. When I was gathering estimates for a small commercial job I saw your company on the internet. My wife and I have worked very hard in our lifetime to invest in a commercial property to secure our retirement and we take great pride in our investment. I met with Jerry Seymour for a proposal and he represented Smithco with great professionalism. He was very observant and full of good information. I myself can be very difficult to win over especially when I don’t know a person. Jerry was incredible and extremely pleasant. I also met with several of your competitors which I’d rather not comment on. Jerry and the Installation Crew were the BEST. They were prompt, professional, neat and clean, and did an excellent quality install. I stayed on the property the entire time they installed simply because I have always had problems with contractors I hire. Well I wasted my time because I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Monday, May 4th I had Jerry and Gustavo come to my property for a few issues and we discovered while they were there the 5 ton unit wasn’t running. They discovered a short in the thermostat wiring from the air handler to the condenser. They quickly located the issue and repaired. The wiring was disinergating in the piping and something they wouldn’t have seen during the install. I will plan on having someone provide me another estimate to come out at a later date to repair and replace the wiring before any outages or damage can occur again. You have earned my trust and most grateful for such a great job. You may use me anytime for a referral. Please recognize this crew for their efforts. Tony and Cindy Ramirez
Terrible customer service, they do not respect people’s time. Wasted two and half days and lost wages waiting for their techs to show after the first one couldn’t fix the problem and continued to hang around my house until 9pm even though I called at 9am. Said someone would come in the morning, but never showed. I called early to find out when they were coming, they said they would let me know. Called back again at 3pm, and they said they needed a quote for a part and would call me as soon as they knew. Wasted another day and half and called back to find out what was going on. The receptionist transferred me to the parts department and the guy was very rude. He said he emailed the quote. When I said I was expecting a phone call and took time off work waiting for someone to show up, he started getting defensive and arguing, and deflecting blame instead of just apologizing for the poor customer service. I said I would find another company, and I’m glad I did. Do not use Smithco.
My review mysteriously gets deleted, must be correct then. Do not use if you have Mitsubishi system, call Mitsubishi direct and ask for a local DIAMOND CONTRACTOR as Smithco is not. UPDATE 07/02/2018 Smithco stepped up and worked things out. They are a good honest company just trying there best to keep the customer happy. Call them if you need service, they will help. Thanks
The installers Ozzie, Gustavo and Donavin did an excellent job! They worked all day and were very nice and respectful. There was an immediate difference in airflow and everything. We feel like we made a great choice and are very happy. Thank you!
Honest service!!!! Smithco maintains my AC unit in West Palm Beach. I came home recently after a 2-week absence to find my AC not working. Smithco had done some routine maintenance just prior to my departure, replacing a minor part. I suspected that something had happened during that work to cause my AC not to function but couldn't be sure. The Smithco tech that came out to repair my AC after I found it not working spent three hours fixing it. He initially said (truthfully) that he couldn't be sure what the issue was and whether it was coincidentally to the previous work. At the end, though, he discovered the root cause, told me that it had indeed been the previous tech, and did not charge me for the visit. This is the kind of honesty that I rarely find in service these days. I realize that errors happen - that's part of life. What is more important is a company that lives up to its promises, admits when it has made a mistake, and makes it right for the customer. I recommend Smithco 100%!!
I have used Smithco A/C in the past was very good . I am disappointed with their service charge 160.00 for nothing and tried to charge me 1500 to 5000 to replace my unit . I had someone else go out and fix it for 200. I would not recommend them anymore.
Last week, I was at my father's house (a snowbird) to take care of some things. I discovered a major leak in his ceiling. It was coming from the AC unit. I understand that lines can get clogged and in this humidity lots of moisture is pulled from the air. It was a bad situation. I called Smithco immediately and they had a technician out to us very quickly. His name was James Brown (seriously) and he was absolutely phenomenal. He went above and beyond to fix everything and even did what he could to help with some of the water damage. Not only did he fix the drainage system, add new sensors to the AC unit to prevent this from happening again, but he also replaced the hatch leading to the crawlspace with materials from his own home. I have never had such a positive experience. Because of Jim (James), a major, major catastrophe was avoided. I'm sure that all the technicians with Smithco would have done just as great a job, but if you can get Jim to work on whatever you need, you're going to be in amazing shape!
