Consumers are often looking for an appliance/HVAC company for maintenance and/or repairs. It is a frightening prospect, since most folks are not well versed in technology. It is that fear that Broward Factory Service (BFS) eliminates with its brilliant business model: The "face" of BFS is the charming, well-informed and efficient Shelley, who responds instantly to calls, EMs and VMs. Whether addressing a billing inquiry, scheduling an appointment or discussing an appliance problem in general terms, Shelley handles it, and transfers you to another BFS professional, if needed. Then there are the appliance repair people. In our experience, my husband and I have found them to be, without exception, polite, eager to explain what they have discovered, and competent. Last but not least, is the fellow (the same fellow every six months!) who performs our semiannual HVAC checkup. We decided to contract with BFS for this service, since they installed our new HVAC system for us. In essence, many of life's travails can be minimized or made to vanish by relying upon BFS for most, if not all, of your appliance repair needs or concerns.

They actually came out the same day, were prompt in terms of promised time and competently repaired the problem.

It doesn't take very long for a new homeowner in Palm Beach County to learn, through sad experience, that reliable and expert appliance services are difficult to locate. When you find a company or a person who proves themselves competent, reliable, honest, pleasant and affordable, you hang onto their phone number (or web address) for dear life. That is what Broward Factory Service ("BFS") means to me and to my family here in Delray Beach. We were introduced to BFS 15 years ago by our neighbors and our Home Owners Association. We have not only an annual repair/replace contract with BFS, but also a special maintenance agreement that covers our HVAC system (which we bought from BFS when our old one died.) Bottom line, in SE Florida, any way you can reduce the stress and aggravation of dealing with an appliance purchase, repair and/or service is worth its weight in gold ... and gold is spelled "BFS."
I’ve had nothing but great experiences with BFS. I use their home warranty product and they are always prompt and responsive. They’re generally only available during business hours but they do have an emergency line. I live in Jupiter so sometimes I can’t get service until the next day but there’s comfort in knowing that they do a great job and you’re not going to get ripped off so I’d rather have that then instant service.
