My AC quit working. I called Marlin James AC around 5pm on a Sat. Holiday weekend. They were there by 8:30pm and we were up and running by 9:30pm. Thank you so much for your great service.

I'm a member of "Red's Club" and I will no longer renew my membership. Marlin James did a great job installing my HVAC back in 2020 but I continue to have issues with preventative maintenance (PM) service. The techs are very knowledgeable; it's the inside service department that's a mess. Yesterday for example I had an appointment for PM on my system scheduled between 10am and 12pm. No one showed up or called by noon. At 12:30pm I called the service center and they told me the technician called the office early in the morning stating he would be late due to traffic. They told me to expect him in 1hour.....max 1.5 hrs. He arrived at 3pm. He was 3 hours late! I missed one day of work waiting on a technician. My beef is not with the technician because he did call the office to alert them he was not going to make my appointment on time. I have an issue with the management of the company. They knew early morning there was no way their tech could be on time for my appointment and they chose not to call or text me to reschedule. This is not the first time I've been put on the back-burner when it comes to the service department. I think Red would be extremely disappointed on how the current owner and management treat their existing customers. I will no longer use this company because the management is not in touch with what is going on in the field and quite frankly I think they simply don't care.
Gary has done repairs and installation for is in the past, and is always polite, professional, and is a great repair guy. The only issue that we had with this service was with the after hours "emergency service" people. When I called in a woman took my call and said a tech would call me later that evening. I never got a call back. I call MJ's office at 8:AM and there was no record of my after hours call and had to wait till the following day to get service. I'm older and 2 nights in Florida heat was rough. Gary worked quickly to diagnose the problem and order parts. The parts were delivered to him within 30 minutes and shortly thereafter my air was up and running. Thank you Gary and Marlin James staff!

Thought I had thermostat problems but turned out to be a fan problem. Dwight checked all wiring before coming to that conclusion and he didn’t mind me looking over his shoulder. When the new fan comes in, I would like Dwight to install it.
They do a bi-annual service/checkup/cleaning visit. Takes them about an hour. Their techs are always courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They clean my outside unit/compressor as well as the blower and coils inside the garage. Highly recommend Marlin-James. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
