This is the third time we have had Dolphin out to repair our system. We started using them because they were the only ones at the time that could work with a nest thermostat. Our system is 11 years old. Each time they've been here they've been pleasant, they've been professional, their rates are competitive and they're just great to deal with. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.
Sergio and team are a life saver. My outside AC unit was making a loud disturbing sound late in the day that later resulted to me turning off my ac unit on a hot day. Dolphin Air & Heat came out to review what was going on and they quickly found the problem and resolved it. With their professional knowledge and honest assessment, they also help my unit run better than before. I highly recommend Dolphin Air & Heat Inc to all!
Highly recommend Santiago and Dolphin Air for any residential HVAC system. Very honest, dedicated and reliable service. Same day service. Santiago worked until 7pm to make sure that the system was running properly and that there were no complacency.
Very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to fit me in very quickly on short notice to get my AC back up and running. Very thorough and friendly, I look forward to doing business with them again when the need arises!
The guys at dolphin are fantastic. I would recommend nobody else in the area, they’re attentive to the customers needs made sure that the work was done properly before leaving the job just overall professionals.
My AC went out Sunday night. I called Monday morning and they came out at 3pm same day. Every other company I called beat around the bush and was saying at least 3 days out. I met Sergio and another gentlemen. It felt like they were family. Sergio literally touched and giggled some wires and found the problem in 1 mintue I'm not kidding. They know what they are doing and are very talented. I highly recommend them if your are having problems. My AC is over 10 years old but they treated it as if it was brand new. We swapped stories as they changed the part out. Two thumbs up. It was a pleasure meeting you 2 today. I love the fact you guys were not the typical robot service men with no personalities. Please continue this customer service base approach it was amazing. Again thank you for fixing my unit today.
Sergio was very honest and professional, I called Dolphin as second opinion since the first opinion was to cost $1800 “need Freon and fixing the leak and need to change the coil evaporator” however when Sergio did his test he found the problem was the capacitor. Which cost me including labor $240 Professional and honest
I found this company on a Google search as our AC went out. They were the 4th company I called and had someone at the house within an hour or so. The gentlemen that came out were Friendly, Knowledgeable, quick and clean! Had the AC back up shortly. Thank you much and I will definitely call Dolphins Air and Heat first next time!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company and the service they provided. Sergio and his team were wonderful, knowledgeable, and fast. They went above and beyond to get our family out of the heat. I have already recommended them to friends in need.
David was exceptional. He was prompt, and had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. He installed a Nest thermostat at our condo in a timely manner and was very professional. David goes the extra mile for the customer. He took his time answering all of our questions. Hope to deal with him directly again when we need an extra return installed in our stairwell. Dolphin installed our two units in 2018. They, also, perform an annual maintenance check. They were then, and continue to be, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, neat, responsive and….they VALUE their customers as well. Their employees stick with Dolphin for years which speaks volumes. Ask for Sheldon or Sergio, though I’m sure they’re all exemplary.

Owner was rude on the phone and told me he couldn't look up info about our ac...said it was too much trouble. Said they could do a service call. I don't think so.

Our air conditioning went out (in early Sept during a 90 degree day) and after viewing several recommendations on FB, I decided to call Dolphin Air and Heat. They were at my house within an hour. They had to drive to Plant City for a part, but were willing to do it even though it was already almost 4pm. Needless to say, I had air by 8:30pm! I was impressed with their dedication and hard work to make sure we had air conditioning by the time we went to bed, even though it rained several times while they were working. (I was positive they would have to stop, but they kept going!) Sergio and Ilian were amazing, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and determined to give me their best service. I highly recommend Dolphin Air and Heat!!
Our air went out in the middle of the night with summer upon us and I have a newborn. I needed someone to come out as soon as possible and Dolphin was quick to respond, which was greatly appreciated. The A/C was quickly resolved and after a further check they found a blown UV light and a safety issue with the light being too close to our gas line for the heat. I’m glad to have had them out for so many reasons! I will definitely be using them again and recommending to friends and neighbors.
I have had to use Dolphin AC for about every service over the past five years and to say they’ve been phenomenal is an understatement. When you’re in FL and your AC breaks down, it constitutes an emergency and I can always depend on them to follow through. I recently replaced my old HVAC system and Sergio couldn’t have possibly exceeded my expectations more. He was in constant communication with me about his arrival and the timeline of the services so there were no surprises. He was extremely patient in explaining the different options, features and other inquiries that I had. Sergio and Dolphin are always there when you need them the most. To find a quality and professional company is a challenge in itself. But to find one that is also dependable, trustworthy and concerned about the customer’s experience is extremely rare. The Tampa area is fortunate to have such a great company readily available to fix these issues!
I can’t say enough about how reliable and honest Sergio was. From the consultation to install everything went well and on time. He never tried to up sell me but was open and honest about what I wanted vs needed. I was told once you move to Florida you need a good bug guy and A/C guy. Well I’ve fond a great A/C guy.

I cannot say enough about my recent experience with Dolphin. My (21 year old) furnace finally went and my AC was old and in need of replacement, too. I got several estimates, met with several vendors, and asked many questions over the course of several days. A number of neighbors recommended Dolphin but it was my meeting with Sheldon that sealed the deal. He came out (exactly on time) to do the estimate, pleasantly answered my many questions (quickly) over the few days I was deciding, and he was here to supervise and assist on the day of the installation (when the team also showed up on time, around my work schedule). The Dolphin installation team was cordial and cleaned up as promised. Owner Sergio came at the end of the long day to check things out and introduce himself. I highly recommend Dolphin and if you are looking to purchase I recommend you ask for Sheldon.
