Excellent sevice! I recently had surgery and could not deal with the heat when my AC stopped working. I called in the AM and because of my health issues they sent someone this afternoon. He was very professional and had the AC working in less than an hour. I highly recommend this company!
I've had service with cool today for about 3 years now. With the exception of the previous maintenance visit, all other visits (including a recent emergency service visit) have been excellent.
We had new a/c installed in March and last night 7/7/23 it stopped working, called service and as was expected they are extremely busy. A service tech arrived at aroound 9 pm and had us up and running within an hour. Very professional and cordial, could not ask for a better service
I have two houses this company has service contracts on. Been with this company for yrs. Called on early July 5th for broken thermostat. Was told soonest they could come was next day between 8am-1 pm. Would have thought having a service contract on both houses using AC units bought and installed by their company they would have come sooner. But having no choice I agreed to their time frame. Next morning we both stayed at the house to be repaired. Decided to walk to the other house which is close by. Found a note they had been there and left. Earlier they sent us an update text advising us of the time they would be at the house they didn't go to. But this time no follow up text or call to ask if there was a problem on why we didn't answer So we called up to report their mistake. Was told it would now be the next day. So we had to wait again. When they did show up to replace the thermostat was told it before tax right at $400.00. Went online exact thermostat was $89.00. Incidentally this is not the first time this company has shown up late. Pretty much every time to be accurate. So no renewal of service contract and no more calls for repairs or service. Sadly had to use one star to be able to leave a comment
They are way over priced. All the technicians say they arent at your house to sell you a new unit. The reality is. They are all ttained to sell you something you dont need. Cool Today is the worst AC company. Over chatge and lie to you so they can sell you new products. And there plumbing dicision is just as bad. No breakdown( line item) billing. I spent about 200dollars an hr for 2 guys at my hose for 2hrs. Would NEVER use this company again.
Can't say enough about how timely and great the service was from Cool Today-on one of the hottest days of the year. Was out at my house less than an hour and half after I called this morning. Since I had a maintenance visit scheduled next week didn't do any more than was necessary to get my system up and running.
I just joined Cool Today and I am very pleased with their telephone communications and with the knowledgeable, very pleasant technician Gabriel. I am a woman and my questions were answered in an understandable way. Gabriel was very thorough to familiarize himself with the unit and did the maintenance professionally. A usually boring task was a pleasant work visit.
We had a 6 month maintenance today. Our Tech was Ronnie Barnes. He was very professional, on time, polite, and knowledgeable. Two years with a new HVAC with Cool Today and we’re happy customers!
Response to my call was very fast. Tech (Jake Evans) was at our home in 1hour and 15 minutes. He knew exactly what the problem was and quickly fixed it. He is very knowledgeable and professional.
I have the maintenance plan, which is very affordable and gives me 3 visits a year and the peace of mind knowing that if something goes wrong they guarantee to have a technician out that day. This plan also gives me a discount on any parts needed. The technicians are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. They make suggestions when they notice something, which I appreciate.
Yesterday, I was met at the door by Agbor, a most professional and skilled employee of Cool Today. It was just my yearly scheduled maintenance call, but it was discovered that the UV light had gone out. Agbor spent hours killing and scrubbing the black mold from every part of the unit he could reach. Installed a new UV light, skillfully cleaned, vacuumed, and checked all of the 15 year old AC unit. I received a complete check up report with pictures of the work. THANK YOU so much Agbor Tanjong for keeping my family Cool and Healthy.
Let me go straight at this. I believe my non-profit agency was overcharged for the replacement of my 3 ton unit Fan Blower Motor. The standard replacement cost is between $350 and $500. We were charged $770 and the tech wanted to charge me for the service call until i questioned the cost. I will not be referring you to others. Thank,
Never had problems until our AC went out. It ended up being out for 4 days, 3 different technicians came. They were all nice but never fixed the problem. The last one to arrive "fixed" the ac and it never stopped running for 2 days! I had to call another AC company and pay them to fix what CoolToday did not. They came out immediately and had the issue fixed within 3 hours!! Great service and communication from Dunedin AC!! I tried contacting CoolToday to tell them about the issue. I was given a direct phone number from a person in the Quality Control department. I left 2 messages and have yet to hear back. To say I am extremely disappointed with CoolToday would be an understatement.
Very thankful for our technician who took care of us today. He came early in the morning before we opened to get a head start on fixing our air! Came in to update us along the way, and got everything repaired and working again super quick! Very grateful we got taken care of so quickly as well. Called yesterday, initial appointment was for the afternoon and he came in first thing! Thanks for all you do!
Jason was awesome and super helpful. We accidentally marked the wrong service and he didn’t hesitate to do what we needed and still give great service even though it wasn’t what he typically does.
Joshua is the good salesman with a great knowledge of AC units. He spent time providing all details of the AC and detailed prices of the RUUD AC unit with the rating is not preferred compared to the Lennox heat pumps with the price is too high without any discount for the 4th holiday sale, therefore I did not make my purchase from him.
Mike was a fantastic salesperson. He took his time, explaining every aspect of the options for a new AC unit. Mike is professional, technically knowledgeable, and has excellent people skills. A five star, A+ experience. Michael B has been to our house twice as an AC tech. He is fantastic in every way. A very clear communicator, very respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and I hope I get him as a technician every time!
Overall a solid professional experience with very responsive employees that seem to care about their customers and brand. Anyone can install an AC unit for you, but the quality of service is what makes the difference.
This was our semi annual AC maintenance check up. They were really thorough yet there was no upsell, which is rare these days with some companies. He made some suggestions but nothing pushy, no scare tactics. Great job!
