Called and got an estimate within a day, the price was extremely competitive even below what others I know paid for a new system. Tried to get other estimates but they couldn't get here in a reasonable amount of time and the old system was dying a slow death. By the time it got to be 82⁰ in the house I couldn't take it anymore and since the other companies couldn't even get here for an estimate, I called on Tuesday to tell them I accepted their estimate and when can they come and do the job and they said tomorrow. I said do it. Very pleased with the efficiency and speed and the price was very competitive and 24 hours later my home was nice and cool.

Called Anchor Air for a cleaning of my AC system and was very happy with the experience. They came when they said they would, charged what they said they would, get a thorough cleaning of the unit and sucked from the outside. Did all the readings of the unit and gave me good information on how to upkeep the unit going forward. They also send me an emailed invoice with photos showing everything they inspected and what the readings were which was helpful. Would recommend them and have them back again for a general maintenance service.

They recommended 2 new HVAC units in 2017 and I am wondering now if I really needed. The one tech didn’t know how to install and the one flooded my floor. A new tech came out and was really nasty and rude because he didn’t want to be there repairing the error from the first tech. The unit has never worked really well. I have continued using them for maintenance just because they installed them and I was worried something may stop working in the first one altogether. They overcharge and do not do great work. They don’t care about keeping their customers. When I called up and complained about how much the service was this time (I didn’t know how much the increase was until after the tech left and I received an invoice by email which has never happened before)they didn’t care and didn’t try and resolve any issues when I said I was going elsewhere. Don’t waste your time and money with this company with so many other companies out there.

I would like to take the time to compliment the receptionist from Anchor Air Conditioning. Although all of the technicians that came to my home recently to solve my air conditioning needs (3 in Total), Jessica was my contact with the company. She answers the calls, sets up appointments and is very informative about the company’s operations. She answers the phone in a friendly open manner and is very willing to set up your appointment and send technicians to your home very quickly as your schedule permits with a relatively small window of time. She is highly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Anchor Air Conditioning over all gets five stars from me. I felt like I was dealing with a reliable, professional business and Jessica made the experience very comfortable.

Very poor communication between from both Anchor and Mainstreet Renewal (Home rental company). 16 days without A/C as they go back and forth.. 16 days!! And counting!!

If you're a tenant and your landlord uses them be prepared to be told no details of the job or potential issues due to company policy. So when in my case they tell you the AC is running fine so you keep using it(even when it doesn't seem like it) and you skyrocket your own bill at their word they'll simply shrug their shoulders. I suggest reworking your policies to actually help the customer. You don't even need to explain everything but maybe if something is going on tell them to contact their landlord/property manager. This policy hurts renter and of course it would. How hard would it be to get an approval for work while you're there on site ? Or maybe tell the tenant that the Landlord needs to approve some work. Instead I relay to my landlord 'everything is good' and then they send an invoice which he has no clue about since he thinks that since I said it's, it's fine. Really absurd practice. Would love to talk to whoever implemented this and ask them the last time they went without AC during the end of June in Tampa for 6 days. I won't recommend your group to any renter. If the tech guy hadn't been so friendly I'd give 1 star-- and if he has bothered to clean up after himself with all the dirt and dust form the attic I may have even given 3 stars.
