THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE. We had a service technician come out for an annual visit when he left the air had stopped working. Mind you, it had been working great until he showed up. We had noticed the air to have stopped working when he left we had then called him and he told us it would turn back on. Well hours go by it is now 83 degrees in my house we call him again, by this time it is around 630pm he said he would be back in an hour. It’s 8 now and no one has showed up yet. We call him multiple times and now no answer. We called the company number and finally got ahold of someone around 9pm they said they would send someone out first thing the next morning. Two days of work I have taken off work for these people. Guess what No one showed up until that evening. The technician that came said he didn’t have the equipment to fix our AC that the other technician broke. I live in Florida and it is summer and it is HOTTT. The technician promised us he would come back the next day. I put matters in my own hand and called veterans ac (who were very professional and on time) because I know I was probably going to get blown off again by this terrible company. Veterans showed up the next morning and fixed what AIRPROS had broke which was alot of money out of my pocket. Guess who called my house the next day because I did not cancel my visit with airpros. THE TECH CALLED and said HE COULD NOT MAKE IT! AGAIN! The first technician that came broke our ac. The company did nothing to fix it and we had to pay them to come for our annual visit. They told us they would refund our money and they never had. NOW CRICKETS. You guys are terrible human beings. Thanks for robbing me and making me go through that stress. I’m not the type of person to write a bad review but have some friggin heart people.
My AC broke, I called this morning and was scheduled for a 3pm appointment to repair. I called 6 times and spoke to 6 people, all calls are routed to a foreign dispatch service. They all said the tech was running late and would be near at any moment. 5 hours sitting at the house in 90 degree heat, called again and was told the office was now closed by the dispatch agent. The customer service here is disgusting. I now has to book a hotel for the night because my dog was overheating. If they had informed me they couldn’t make the appointment I could’ve called another company, instead they strung me along for 5 hours and then said they were closed.
These guys were beyond amazing! They were on time, professionals, and skilled/knowledgeable in their craft. They did a phenomenal job! Jason was the installer and he was awesome!!! By the time they were done and packing up, you couldn’t even tell they were there., They did a great job cleaning up! I loved them so much. I signed up for a maintenance contract. As long as I have this house, no one will touch my HVAC system besides them! Thank you guys so much!!
Do not hire this company. We had a brand new AC installed in December, paid $8500 and have had nothing but problems since then. Upon install the installers put a foot through my master bedroom ceiling, never told anyone and then left my house. I called to have it repaired, they didn't smooth it out, it looked terrible. They came back again, and I still had to fix their work. 4 months later the Hillsborough County Inspection department called to tell us they never closed the permits out. Upon inspection there was a list of items they had to fix to repair. They sent someone out, repaired some issues, and had to make two more visits out to repair others. Once again another hole in my ceiling. Never sent someone to fix, so here I am fixing again myself. The inspector comes back out, they fixed 25% of the items, and here we are my wife 6 months pregnant and who knows what going on with our AC, and unit above where we sleep. Customer service claims they will have a manager call us, get appointments to fix things, but nobody calls back or does anything to remedy these issues. Who knows how unsafe our home is now. Do not ever trust Universal Air and Heat, or Air Pros as they have been working this project together.
Horrible experience with this company. Never on time, had to call multiple times, kept getting bumped back on the schedule without communication. Would never get receipts for service, had to call multiple times just to get basic invoices. There was a leak after the work was performed that flooded the closet where the indoor unit was, oh and did I mention they tried to steal the UV light that was in my old unit instead of transferring it like they were supposed to…. I had to ask them to remove it from the old unit before they left…. And when I asked them to do so they challenged me with the fact that it wasn’t on the job description…. So then I had to ask them to return the UV light to me because I owned it and had no right to take it in the first place…. So then they reluctantly transferred it….. do don’t recommend this company at all. Even weeks after the service I don’t have peace of mind that the job was performed well or to standard. Just hoping the unit actually lasts and I don’t have prolonged issues. Will never use this company again.

Getting a technician to come out was a bit difficult, but without question, the outstanding individual whom installed my unit originally and assisted me recently is priceless. Professional, quick, reasonable, and respectable, not to mention that I almost always see him passing his knowledge on to the next generation, what more could anyone ask for. I can only pray that this company gives this mvp the respect and position/pay that they deserve, as they come out and do an amazing job every time. As much as I was frustrated with the dispatchers, this 1 individual always makes the visit worth while. If the dispatchers and CS can step their game up and more workers do as good a job as the person who came to my house recently, it would easily be 5/5 stars all day every day. Did a great job at repairing and cleaning up for a low price! Would recommend to anyone who needs ac repair!
They are the original installers of my AC unit 5 years ago. It had premature damage due to my HOA negligence of the sprinkler system. They did an excellent job installing my first system, so I came back for repairs. The repair when scheduled was done quickly. My AC is working great! I will come back for my future AC needs.

My fan unit was not working outside they came and replaced the relay contact it was less than an hour and it cost me almost $400 even though my unit was under the warranty needs to stay the dollar amount I was not happy with.
I want to say thank you Universal Air for always being very professional on every level. My new AC unit wasn’t cooling my home, so I reached out to the ac company. Jason made sure that my ac unit was serviced the very next ( Monday ) without any hesitation. He was able to let me know exactly what the issue was, but also explained that I was still under warranty. Therefore, the service was covered and so are the parts for the ac unit. That was such a relief because , I just had major surgery a week ago and now on short term disability. I just love how their service is swift and how the team is extremely knowledgeable of the service I needed. I recommend Universal Air to anyone who is looking for a company who cares a lot in how they give the best service to the community. Thank you
I had a great experience with Air pros. They were on time, provided professional service, and did a great job. I am satisfied with their service. My Air conditioning is working well now.
Annual Contracts: Don't do it Reasons why: Commitments are not kept, updates are not provided, and while they tell you you're a premium client, you're not. Ref. I have 2 properties and was impressed enough that i signed up for 2 annual, "premium" support contracts o different properties. Today, I was told the technician would be here at 10:30 AM, I called the technical directly at 12:30 no response. I called the Air Pros customer service desk and was told a manager would call me. I called shortly after 3 and was told a manager would get back to me within an hour. It's now 4:19 I have not heard from the manager or the technician. The help desk person told me they would escalate, but I was sold a PREMIUM support contract. Everyone has off days, but my last routine maintenance wasn't much better. For property 1, the manager rescheduled the technician and I was never informed. On the second property, I was sent a text saying the call had been rescheduled for a different date that I couldn't make. I called in to tell them I was unavailable and a second date was scheduled, but the tech still showed at the time I couldn't make. I think if you need work done, they'll do a decent job. But the annual contracts for preventative maintenance are not a priority.
Great service and professional teamwork within the installation crew. They showed up right on time, explained to me all of the work details that will take place. Performed all work in a professional manner. Leo, showed up on time and diagnosed our HVAC system and recommended a top of the line system for our home and he was right on point with his recommendation. Now we can enjoy the luxury of our home in comfort.
Gio was very helpful and informative, and honest - we will happy to call on him again or refer this company! He saw an issue with our A/C pressure output and called in backup. So, Rob drove over 2 hours to get here that same day. Found a major issue we had been having and we knew there was a problem but no one had been able to diagnose it. So grateful for this stellar team of professionals and for Rob showing us what our home needed to run efficiently! He got a team out her the next day to replace all the old, (would have passed inspection) duct work. Now it’s like a new house! Thank you so much. I forget the names of the guys from today but they were all great. Amazing team!
The gentleman Dion that came and gave me the estimate and help me with the financing was excellent and the gentleman and the team that came out and installed and repaired the things that needed were excellent everyone was great I'll recommend them to everyone I know to the whole team thank you
Did a great job in fixing my blue light and small repairs. They cleaned and sealed my AC ducts. I am sure this will help my lung and severe Asthma breathing problems. They did a neat and clean job. I recommend them to anyone needing this type of work. Polite and friendly workers. Marie C.
