I called just before 6:30pm and recieved a same day appt. for 8pm. The tech.,Brannon, was early (very much appreciated). He troubleshot my a.c. , found the problem , had the replacement part in stock on his truck , and had my a.c. up and running again in no time at all. Brannon was courteous, professional, and obviously very knowledgable. I also appreciated the young lady who scheduled my appt. so I could recieve the service so quickly. I would recommend Acree, and wouldn't hesitate to call them again should I ever need their services.
Hello! Patrick showed up exactly when he said he would. Patrick also got the job done in a timely fashion and he was very detailed and giving me a quote and all the information that I needed to know so that I could make the best decision for me. Overall I am very happy with the service that I received. and Patrick is a great plumber! Thank you! Pyandra A
Braden was on time and professional. He quickly diagnosed my problem and repaired it in no time. Highly recommend him and if I find myself needing Acree services in the future Braden will be getting a phone call.
Tyler Harlow was extremely professional and helpful. I really appreciated that he immediately put booties on when entering our home. He was able to trouble shoot the main plumbing issue with our water heater while also addressing some additional concerns. He was very knowledgeable about our unit and provided some helpful information. The issue required electrical repairs so Tyler immediately called to schedule an electrician to come out the same day. I would definitely recommend Tyler for any plumbing needs.
The team of Nick and Osmond called in route to tell me they were coming. Arrived on time. Professional, courteous, informative as to the planned work, and attentive from start to finish.
Service was super fast. Elijah, our service tech, was amazing and went out of his way to get us what we needed quickly. The work was clean and professional. The water heater installed is top of the line. We will save the number for future projects. Ty!!!
Extremely overpriced. Came out to replace a starter capacitor, charged $580, for a $20 part and 15 minutes of time. This seems to be well above market rate, even in the summer. I'd call that price gouging. Also felt the need to do the hard sell on a $3k repair that averages $1500-1800 from other installers. When I called back with an issue, they don't bother to show up, or even return your phone call. Way too many reputable companies to be putting up with this kind of nonsense.
Acree fixed an issue with my AC blowing hot air. The technician was courteous and professional. He ran a thorough diagnostic. There were several issues with appointment scheduling that led to both my original and follow up appointments being pushed back two days. Acree waived my visit fees for the inconvenience, but it would be beneficial to their customers and their technicians if the scheduling process was more transparent and streamlined.
Wednesday update - spoke with mgnt on Monday and i became the first Wednesday appointment. On time. Job completed. Found things that may need attention but no hard sell. Saturday afternoon appointment scheduled 8 days ago gets canceled one hour before service with next available appointment 10 days from now. Don't trust acree. You will regret it as I do.
Jose was very informative and helpful. Fixed my AC and diagnosed all the problems I might have/answered my questions. At first I felt like some AC upgrades was pricey and I'm overpaying a bit. But their manager Chris was quick and responsive to explain what's included and guaranteed with their services. Definitely keeping the subscription.
I had an emergency on a Saturday and called more than 10 companies and the only available was Acree. So grateful for Paulin Prendi, he was able to come in even earlier and very respectful, attentive and fixed everything really quickly. Explained the problem and cost and made sure to give us alternatives for our budget. Will definitely be using Acree again.
Although more expensive than I thought it would be, I'm so impressed with Justin's professionalism and friendliness. It was July 3 and everyone I called could not come out until July 5. Acree came out within 45 minutes of my call. Very happy and very impressed.
My AC decided to quit yesterday. I actually have a company I would call and they said they couldn't get to me untill Friday. Spent one night and Googled AC and found ACREE. They got someone here within 4 hours. Dylan arrived and within a half hour had me back up and cold air flowing. Thank you so much. I signed on for their services. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs AC service.
I heard a hissing sound in our house, like the water wasn't turning off so I called Acree because they had the highest ratings on the web. Big mistake! The plumber Patrick was responsive and friendly enough, but definitely played up the drama, making it seem like the leak was disastrous. He referred us to another professional to locate the leak. $300 later, the leak was found. The "Leak Finder" assured me that the damage was minimal and would be easy to fix. Patrick was back promptly the following day, however to our shock, he told us we'd be charged $1800 to fix the leak and potentially up to $2500 if there were any hiccups. We were taken aback and questioned the price. He assured us that any plumber in town would charge that amount, stating that plumbing was one of the most expensive trades. We should have stopped right there and gotten a second opinion! Instead, I gave the go ahead to remedy the problem. He then told me that he'd have his field rep come out to discuss options. The field rep, Riccardo then came out and assessed the whole house to repipe it, stating that our copper pipes were too old and that pipe leaks would start happening more and more. He stated that the work Patrick was currently doing to fix the pipes might only buy us 2 months, especially if we didn't install a water softener and filtration system right away. He stated the sediment from our hard water was damaging the pipes (which I found out later was false). We got quotes ranging from $5,000-15,000 for installing a new softener/filtration system and to repipe the house. The prices seem incredibly high so we called another plumber to the house. He assessed the damages and told us he would have charged $600 to repair the leak. He also quoted us $4000 to repipe the house and $1,000 for a water softener and filtration system. Outraged, we called ACREE and worked with the Service Manager Barry. He was responsive and right away offered us a $500 discount. Barry stated that they
Dominic and his buddy did an excellent job on replacing my old water heater. Also I’m so happy with the replacement that they installed. It’s a commercial grade and has a tough and good quality. I highly recommend this guy and this company 👌🏼
Today Ernesto and his apprentice, Christopher, worked all day in excruciating heat to install a whole new air conditioning in my home. They were on time, courteous and professional. Ernesto explained the new system and its operation and set up remote controlling from my phone. Their services were much appreciated and tonight we are enjoying a cool house for the first time in days
I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my case was handled. To summarize my first experience (Which ended up being over the course of 4 days), my initial request was for a tune up on a working unit. I was then hustled by a sales person and rushed into getting a new unit so urgently as if my A/C was broken. Two days prior I had a working unit, only to be replaced by a new one that ran for an hour before completely shutting down. This happened TWICE the day it was installed!! I now have a large debt to repay for the products, and I honestly wish there was a way to get my old unit back and start over with a different company. By this point I have lost 2 days of time I will never get back plus a whole night with no A/C -- in Florida! The second time it shut off I had to wait over 24 hours before some one could come back out, even though on other reviews Acree customer care states that for new units it should have been a priority. I was supposed to also have a UV light installed but because the wrong size unit was ordered initially they didn't have the right light to fit the second unit. I emailed the company first as a courtesy before posting this review, but 5 days later I still have not received a response. The only thing I have received since was a request from the lender for $2,000.00 for the UV light with a note saying that according to Acree the job is complete. Acree is now asking for payment for parts that have not even been installed yet! I thought this would be a reputable company since it has been around for so long, but my advice would be to do extensive research before choosing Acree. I cannot say that I would recommend them to anyone.
James is an awesome technician outgoing with an impeccable manner a total professional in every sense of the word! :-) He explained to me the plan they had for tuneups twice a year the gold plan and I saved some money on the part that was installed for the condenser unit that it was not functioning properly. I will be saving money so we can pay cash for a new unit next year since this one is 20 years old but it still does what is supposed to do which is keeping my house at a comfortable temperature.
They changed my two hour window from 3 to 5 to 1 to 3 then they didn’t show up from 1 to 3 and when I called, they said I was back on the original time slot from 3 to 5 without notification, and then they made it sound like they were doing me a favor by keeping me on the schedule and coming from 3 to 5. Also, their representative on the phone Nicole, when I asked for some type of renumeration or how they plan to handle this for our window of opportunity, she kept on repeating the same mantra. She made it sound like I was lucky they were coming at all. Try someone else.
Jose was very friendly and professional and explained everything to me so I could make a good decision for my air conditioning needs. I would definitely recommend him and Acree to anyone needing assistance.
