tldr: Great company for central a/c repair! Our very old central air unit stopped blowing out cold air. They came out and added freon and that appeared to help at first, but then later not. They came out the next day and replaced a capacitor for free and apologized for not fixing the problem the first day. Same thing happened and we had to wait a week for a part that they installed and that fixed the problem. This may sound like a negative experience, but not at all, as this was a complicated issue with a very old unit, they were very communicative/responsive throughout the process, and I'd recommend them over any other place we've dealt with over the years. The last company that came out basically gave us a hard sell on a new unit and out and out lied about a part being about ready to go at any time. Giddens mentioned a new unit as an option, outlined pros and cons, and gave me an estimate when I asked, but were informative and helpful rather than pushy and I appreciated that. Anyway, I'll happily hire them to repair or replace our central air unit in the future.

Giddens crew is honest and kind. When my system was breaking down, of the many companies in town I called, I felt like this company was the most genuine and they were the only ones to actually explain the process of what they wanted to accomplish and financing options.
Even the lady who answers the phone here offered a better diagnosis of our A/C problem than the Tech assigned by our homeowners warranty company. I was also very impressed by Bailey's knowledge. We've since cancelled the homeowners warranty.
If their work is anything like the way they drive on hwy27 and hwy12 then I don't recommend any employer that keeps this type of thug in their vehicle.

I was reluctant to call an a/c service due to poor past experience with two other shops, but the condenser fan wasn't working. I called Giddens and straight away I had the start of a positive experience. They listened to what the problem was, what I attempted, and wanted to fit me into their schedule so we would not have to go through the weekend without the a/c. It didn't stop there. They came out when they said they would, and promptly went to work to fix the problem and do maintenance on both a/c units. They were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and reasonably priced. Thank you, Giddens! My a/c almost looks cleaner than when it was new.
This spring a few local HVAC companies visited my house to give me quotes on an admittedly difficult job: addressing two old AC units that fed into a Frankenstein-ed duct work system of old metal duct work and newer flex duct work, all in a very narrow crawl space and all needing significant work. Of the companies who visited, Giddens and specifically Andrew were friendly, communicative, clearly interested in listening to me about what I wanted, super knowledgeable about their trade, and willing to brainstorm with me about solutions. Their eventual quote was reasonable. And their work was top notch, polished, and thorough. I now have two new Carrier AC units, a new furnace, and a well restored and newly insulated duct work system. And despite an unexpected issue with my plumbing that required them to pause the job for about two weeks until it was fixed, they maintained total friendliness, professionalism, concern about my comfort, and respect. They were flexible, reasonable, and never missed a beat, and now my house feels great. I'm incredibly happy with everything. Giddens has my highest recommendation!
Giddens' is my go to for A/C repair. When I used them in the past they were always friendly and affordable. When I called recently due to my AC not working, they explained they couldn't get a tech out that same day but then did not hesitate to refer me to a "sister" company that they trust to see if they had any techs available same day. They were willing to hand off this repair and revenue in order to make sure it got fixed quickly, THAT is great customer service and I will always make sure they are my first call if any issues should arise in the future.
Friendly, on time, clean and reasonably priced, I will definitely use them for any future needs.
Giddens installed a new mini-split system for me over a year ago and I am very happy with the results. I no longer have to argue with my roommate about the thermostat, and my utility bills are very reasonable with the energy savings. The mini-split heating is great, and the cooling is excellent as well. Had no problems in the summertime with the house in full sun.
These guys are amazing. They installed a new HVAC system at our house 3 years ago. It has been very quiet and efficient. We had a little trouble with the first thermostat which they immediately replaced. Maintenance is easy. They are professional, upbeat and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend Giddens Air Conditioning.
Honest people, came right on time, responsive office and the office manager is very polite. Maybe a bit pricey for the per hour rate but at the end I was happy with what I received for the price I paid.

Jodi is the absolute best she was extremely professional and very helpful. My rental property's AC unit went out and she stayed in constant communication with me to ensure that the tech scheduling went smoothly.. I will definitely continue to use them for me AC needs and will recommend to friends and family.
