I booked and was confirmed an appointment online. I then received a call stating that there was no availibility for a week and a half. I asked about my confirmation that I received via email and was told that all online appointments are not guaranteed. It makes me question why they advertise 'easy online sppointments" when they will just call you and tell you that there are no available appointments. Ended up using Angi's list for a recommended company and have an appointment set for today. I suppose it was meant to be. This company seems to have coupons and online access set up to draw in customers and then are not able to assist in a timely manner.

I used to rely on Ierna's. Now I find out they have changed ownership & their service leaves a lot to be desired. Mostly because I haven't even been able to get anyone out here to actually do any service. I tried to schedule an appointment online at the end of May. The day that THEIR SYSTEM showed available, I made my appointment. When the day came, no one showed up. I called & they claimed they had called me & left messages to let me know they weren't doing service the day THEIR SYSTEM allowed me to schedule for. So I asked to reschedule. I had to wait 30 more days for an available appointment. The morning of my appointment, I called at 9:30am, 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment window, to confirm I did in fact still have an appointment (so I wouldn't be waiting all day for no one to show like I did last month). I was assured that yes I did indeed have an appointment, my window was 10am-2pm & the tech would call me when they were on the way. So I waited. Again. Bet you can't guess what happened.....At 2:30, I called to see if someone would still be coming to service my ac unit. Once again, I was assured I was on the schedule, and this time they said they would connect me to my tech so I could see where I was on their route. I waited on hold 15 minutes for this "transfer" that never came. I hung up & called back a third time. This time I was told that no, I in fact did not have an appointment that day, because my appointment had been canceled to make room for emergencies two days before. Ummm I'm sorry, what did you just say to me????? Once again, I had ZERO calls and ZERO messages and why did it take 3 calls in 5 hours for someone to finally tell me???? And because they're not going to make as much money on my call, I keep getting canceled??? Wow. My business will be going to a company who cares. Thank you for wasting two months of my time. If i do have an emergency issue (since i haven't been able to getting my semi annual maintenence done in time) I will

2023 update - it is currently 80 degrees in my home. Iernas had the audacity to come out and said the ac is fine. It is too hot to keep up and the ac is not meant to cool when it is this hot. We were told they would order a part (even though nothing is wrong?) And be back to install it. I have now learned that many others have issue with Iernas and a simple search on the nextdoor app will show others with the same experience. I am now filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I want my money back and I want to hire an ac company to install a system that works. We purchased a new ac in 2021. The AC is not and has not been working properly since install. They have come back out countless times. (I believe 11 times to be exact) We have been told the following: "the first guy did it wrong" "the filter is in the wrong spot" "oh that guy is new and he did the wiring for the uv light wrong" "your thermostat does not and never worked." "Oh actually you have a leak we are going to install a new coil" Who knows what the issue is at this point? I know we paid almost $9,000 for a hassle. A basic expectation is when you turn the heat setting on heat comes out and when you turn the cool setting on cold air comes out. Run away from Iernas. There are countless providers in Florida. I wish I would have went with the other provider. UPDATE TO 3 Stars: our ac is now working great. I am unhappy with the hassle but in retrospect, I am pleased that my warranty was honored and they continued to troubleshoot until the issue was resolved. It was one tiny thing that avalanched. A manager took the time to speak to me and they came out and did an inspection to ensure everything was now working.

I made an online appointment (as stated on the billboards and all their advertising) for THE NEXT DAY. Their advertising states “same day or it’s free”. I received a call at 6 am (I was sleeping so I received a voicemail) on the day of scheduled service that stated that my appointment was canceled because of no availability. I called them to ask what was happening because they are advertised as same day or it’s free. The customer service rep told me that since I made an appointment through their “e-booking” (it’s the only option available on their website) they couldn’t honor the appointment. Their next availability was EIGHT DAYS LATER!! What a scam! I’m glad I didn’t use this service because if this is how it is up front, I can’t imagine what their quotes and costs are.

After over a decade of only calling Ierna for my HVAC needs (for two homes) -I’m annoyed to have to again search for a great company. The family owned business was sold to a conglomerate and it’s been painfully obvious. Previously their technicians have always been top-notch, but as with any buyout there have been changes with personnel and performance. This is not the Ierna many of us came to know and appreciate. I’m not opposed to change, but prefer when it’s for the better. Today’s last interaction prompted this review. I suppose if you’re not familiar with the Ierna of the past you won’t know what you’re missing.

This is my second unit that has been installed by Irena’s. Still within warranty and we have a service plan. Purchased 07/17/2021. Check up was just done in June. Unit is not blowing cool air in my 73 year old mothers house. I call after after hours and get a call center in Glendale, CA and the next available appointment is SUNDAY 07/02. Oh and it’s an $89 service fee. Also it’s not considered an EMERGENCY. Only water in the home and a gas leak is deemed a 24 hour emergency. I pay for a service contract and have been a customer for 15+ years. Sunday ..7 days from now is absolutely ridiculous. I heard you have new owners. Is this how you treat your loyal customers? Like so many others we are leaving and going to Lakeside and canceling our service contract. You are slowly losing every single customer who helped build you over the last 20 years. Oh and deleting reviews and comments and not taking care of your customers head on shows how you truly care about your business.

July 2nd 2023 i used the automatic scheduler to book a emergency ac appointment as my ac had broke and it was 97 degrees outside. I got a call 10 min later telling me that the online schedule function was not working correctly and the had no technician available till Tuesday even know it says there they are available for emergency service on there website. Do not call them for any emergency service because they let me do my tenant down in 97 degrees heat. Terrible business practices when you need them the most.

Have been a loyal customer since 2014. My air conditioning went out today so I called Ierna’s to send someone out today to service my air conditioner. The person took my name, my email and my phone, which was already in the system, and assured me somebody would get out to me today. After 90 minutes when I did not have a text message or an email, confirming that someone was coming out, I called back, I asked what my status was for a service call and the person confirmed that I was not even in the queue. On top of that he said no one would come out until a week from Sunday 8 days from now. At that point, I hung up the phone and immediately called Acree Air. Needless to say someone will be out in the next 90 minutes from Acree. Ierna’s has just lost a long time loyal customer because they can’t staff on a weekend for repairs to air conditioners in Tampa in July. Stay away from Ierna’s heating and cooling.

These people either need to hire or find a new business. Living in the state of Florida, it’s pretty unlikely you’ll ever be able to wait a week to get your AC fixed. Every time you need something, the soonest appointment is a week away. I made the mistake of having these people install my unit and now have to get someone else to service it every time. Don’t make the same mistake.

I used them a few years back to install a new system and they were great. Had them come out today to do a tune up and ask about some other things we want done. They sent Henry Sands and I must say he is top notch. I am in the service industry as well and I was very impressed by Henry. Personable, knowledgeable and so professional. You are lucky to have a technician as good as he is and it's techs like him that will keep me as a customer.

Guy was at my house for 10 minutes Walking around and he said I need a new unit and then when I refused to pay him he charged me $500 for doing nothing. Also very unprofessional he was laughing as he left. I have tried to contact you guys and you give me excuses about why they can’t tell me what he did. This is very disheartening because I was patient but then as I tried speaking to a manger they hung up. Just a butch of cheap scapes trying to make a quick dollar.

Roberto, our technician, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He knew what the problem was and fixed it in a timely manner. He did extra work to make sure everything was working correctly before he left. He also recommended some things I can do to prolong the life of my AC unit. Roberto was excellent. Thank you.

Our AC was going out for a while and finally it ran its course after 19 years. My father-in-law is a retired HVAC guy and helped keep it going, but he finally said the system has to go. We were referred by a friend and we gave them a call. The next day they came out and did an inspection just to be sure our AC couldn't be repaired. The next day they sent out someone to draw up the plans for replacing our AC and they were very upfront about everything including the cost and what would and would not need to be replaced. The next day the guys came out and put in 11 hours of hard work in the Florida heat and walked us through our system and how it would work even though they put in a long day. That is true dedication. They were not going to let us sit for another night without AC and did not want to leave and come back the next day but instead worked hard and got the job done. We are so impressed with how quickly everything was done replacing our entire system from the time we called to win the job was completed. Every single part was worth the price. I have absolutely no complaints. Stop calling around, just call Ierna. Be done with it and be confident.

Just had a salesman come out to give us a quote While he was very nice and knowledgeable their prices are outrageous I’ve been quoted 8-9k for a 5 ton unit Their price was $14.5k, not even in the ballpark Came back with $12.9k Why not give your best price the first time I guess when a corporation buys the company they get greedy Do your research

1: Not owned anymore by Local Woman! 2: Bought by out of town company that has kept name 3: Customer Service has gone down the toilet 🥴 I had a plumbing problem that IERNA FAILED to resolve. They came 5 times due to master bath toilet kept blowing out wax ring & flooding bathroom & bedroom! They replaced wax ring 3x's by 3 different plumbers. Attitudes from HELL... guessing because they weren't being paid since it was warranty work. Last time plumber came, he told us to: 1. Buy new shower curtain 2. Need new shower pan 3. We quit ..Not coming back GUESS WHAT?!? Needed new Outside pipes replaced that connects to public sewer. From front door to curb. NEVER did any of the plumbers suggest: let's pull toilet & send a camera through pipes. Camera showed broken pipes etc. I called another plumbing company who came out same day. Told them the problems I was encountering. They pulled the toilet & used camera. They found problem on Friday. Started job on Monday. Took 3 days which included 2 city inspections. Problem RESOLVED 😉 Had to stay in hotel while work was being performed. IERNA doesn't have to concern themselves with us ever calling again!!! I'll be calling the company that listened & actually RESOLVED the problem. Miss the Woman (local), who did appreciate her customers. Thankfully, the new company IS owned by local man who DOES care about his clients.

Just called this company for a tune-up as they advertise "SAME DAY appointment". Went through everything on the phone with the lady for her to end up telling me they have no availability until August...

Francisco A, was the best air conditioner technician I've ever had. He did a thorough job and gave me great guidance on how to keep my air conditioners running efficiently. I highly recommend him, and I will ensure he does my next annual air conditioner tune-up.

Blake was super professional, very knowledgeable. He took extra time for teaching and discussing an issue he found in our AC (mold yuck!). I really appreciated how thorough he was and felt very well taken care of.

I have been a long term customer of Ierna’s and while it did take an effort to get a timely appointment. I must say once I brought it to their attention Ierna’s followed up immediately and had us on their schedule within a week for a preventative maintenance service. The tech who came out to provide the service was thorough and provided a clear assessment of the state of our units.
