It is not an Honest Company. They installed a year ago but never kept their one year warranty parts and labor. We called maybe 15 times but only got the call center. Never use them. Do not recommend...

Made 2 appointments with them, I took off work for both days. First appointment they were a no call no show. I called and asked if they were still going to make it. They said sorry they were busy. I simply asked for them to give me a courtesy call if they aren't going to make the appointment. I rescheduled later that week. Again they never called and never showed. So I called and asked and again they were busy, so I asked why didn't I get a call? The gentleman said that wasn't his fault it was dispatches fault for not calling me and that they were focusing on people with out AC. He asked if my AC worked and I said yes but it's 17 years old and getting ready to quit. In the end we were both yelling and he hung up on me. Absolutely horrible customer service would not recommend to anyone.

The unit kept freezing up, over and over again. Every time we called, their technical people came, they put Freon in it. That was like putting a bandaid on a broken arm. The last time I called, we went a full week without air conditioning. We ended up having to replace the entire unit.

Since we got this air conditioner, it’s always something with the AC/ we even got insurance from them. Last time we called for maintenance it took repeated calls before someone came here.. Again like the fifth time or more since installed that AC goes out again.. This is a company should be sue for what they’ve done to the consumer .. Please Help Ruthie

This Comsany is a no good i had problem with new unit in less then a year . company is out of business now. ( it seems) But the same phone number is used by another company to do service to the Honest AC costumers but not cover the warranty . to me this are crooks (((((becareful))))))))

Would not call the business or staff "honest". About a year ago, I had a new system installed which included a year labor warranty. Two months later the furnace in my garage started making a loud buzzing noise, when I called and spoke to the owner, I made sure that he could hear the noise. He advised that someone will contact me within 48hrs when they are on their way to my place. To this date, no one called or attempted to come and check the system. I called several times later in the course of 4 months to get an update; I gave up and knew I am dealing with DISHONEST people when the dispatcher said to me verbatum:"we are coming to fix your AC for free, we will come when we are available". I explained that no one is coming for free since the labor cost would be included in the $5K I paid when I bought a new system. MY RECOMMENDATION, FIND A REPUTABLE COMPANY TO GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

We called them and made an appointment. They no called no showed. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and we rescheduled. No call no show again. We called several times prior to the scheduled appointment each time. Awful, DO NOT USE THESE TIME WASTERS. If there was negative star I'd give it.

Spent $1800 to have a warranty compressor replaced and my coil cleaned. AC still does not cool to below 80 even in morning. Called twice now with no response. Once they have your money they are gone. technicians cannot understand English to tell them that your AC is still not cooling when they are even in your house. They insist that it works. I would stay clear of this company. Keep looking for someone that actually responds. Now I will have to fork out more money to get AC check .

Honest AC was very responsive when we needed to purchase our AC unit, but fast forward a year and we can't get a hold of anyone with the company. All calls go to a call center and they are NOT honoring the warranty. We called to have someone come out and check our unit since it was not working properly and they kept saying they would add us to the list, but no one came out. We kept calling for about two months and still no one ever came out. We are in the process of filing a dispute since they are not honoring the 10 year warranty.

Frank was the absolute worst call center representative ever!!!! This company had the worst customer service department of any a/c company I have ever dealt with. They set my appointment between 1-4 and advised the technician would call an hour in advance. I called at 2:15 to see if I was still scheduled and they said yes and the technician will be there by 4. I called at 3:44 and they said the technician will call. I called at 4 and they said they will get to me when they get to me. I asked to speak to a manager and the representative said that a manager will call me when they get a chance. I pressed for a timeframe so she transferred me to another representative named Frank. He said that there are no managers and no supervisors that work there. He continued to yell over me (and yes, I mean Yell) that the technicians are busy and they will call when they get to it even though I was no longer asking about the technician but rather the POOR Customer Service. He told me there's 30 girls that work here and I don't know who transferred you to my line. He then said 'You know what, this isn't my problem' and hung up!!!! This company definitely needs to address their customer service reps and the timeliness of getting to appointments. The Technician Never Showed Up!!!!!

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. The best thing about Honest AC is Oscar, he has great customer service and you can see he cares for his customers. The person that installed my unit scratched up my brand new washing machine. The owner didn't want to do anything about it. We worked out a deal but he did not want to deduct last $50 from my referral and stated he would pay it after my friends work was completed. Been over a year and still have not received the $50. To make matters worst my AC within the first week did not work properly. At times it would work ok for a month or so to the point I'm sweating with my AC in my home. The last three or four calls I have made no one showed up. During the Winter time if I use my heater the AC won't work when it gets too hot. I have to turn off my breaker to get it to work which can't be good for my AC or anything else in my house. I have a 4yr old daughter does not need to live like this nor do I or her mother. I called today and they tried to say my 1yr warranty has expired so they will be charging me. I told the person on the phone I have I believe a 3yr warranty she said I would have to show proof (apparently they don't log this kind of stuff) Good thing I have my paperwork. If this doesn't get resolved I think I've given them plenty of opportunities to fix the issue so if not resolved it may have to be taken care in another manner such as replacing the whole unit and making sure everything is done correctly. Can't say it's the thermostat when it's been replaced a few times already and have to use breakers as part of the process..Something has to give.. I was better off with my old AC unit honestly. I'll be more than happy to change my rating after seeing what they can do to fix the issues. **update** 7/19/19 with 3 yr warrenty they tried to charge me saying they show i have a one yr. We live in the best time, if a company is not true to their word or HONEST with their service we can share our experience with more than just our immediate friends. *** Buyer Beware *** My elderly parents' AC is not working correctly. We called several days ago and we were told someone would be out to service it. After several no shows, we called again today and i asked to speak with a manager and I was told by "Frank, the call center manager" that no one would tell us someone would be right out to see us because it is against protocol. We are clearly lying to ourselves and making up the appointment scheduled. The wait time is 3-5days for service calls. There was absolutely zero empathy from Frank and another rep named, Nancy. Rather, they appeared bothered by the fact we were calling again. Our AC unit is 2 years old and the 10 year "Warranty" only covers parts. If we don't ask nicely for help, no one will be coming. Clearly customer service after the fact is not something they care much about. We were told we are not the only ones with hot houses and we just need to wait. We will get to it when we can. If you are looking to buy an AC unit, please save yourself the hassle and pick another company. Spend a little more and read the comments from other customers. I hope someone reads this and decides against calling your company to do business clearly the "Call Center" does not care about your customers after they have purchased from you. *** Update *** We received a call from Issac, and they are sending someone out to service the unit. This doesn't negate our experience and it should be shared. The folks talking phone calls need training on how to be empathic, conceding tone and customer service don't mix. Frank telling me that at-least their office has AC and we don't is not a way to end a call and expect to continue to grow an AC business.

Price is too good to be true. The service is so poor that it explains the price. I booked an appointment back at the beginning of June for basic AC service and cleaning. They never showed up. I was called by the worker HOURS after the appointment window to explain that they were running behind, but they would be there that evening. Okay. Never showed. Never followed up and didn't return any calls. I made the mistake of setting a new appointment time. Can't fit me in for 2 weeks. Day of appointment comes and worker actually shows up! But he doesn't stay because he is from the emergency repair department and not maintenance, so he can't provide the service we requested. Call dispatcher and end up re-booked for 3 days later. 9am to 12pm window. Called at 12:47pm. "I will be there between 4 and 7pm" Ok. Whatever. Called at 6:38pm. "On my way from Daytona Beach" I'm 80 miles from there. "Be there in an hour". Not safely you won't. Get a text at 7:05pm. Tire blowout and stuck on roadside with no spare tire. Sorry about that, but what a joke! Not prepared to deliver on their empty promises. Avoid this company. The "deal" is way too good to be true. Because it isn't.

This is a terrible company. If I could give zero stars I would. They’re great if you want an install, but after that you don’t exist to the company. My A/C unit was installed last year. It has since gone out, two weeks ago. I called two weeks ago to ask for a technician to come out. I was told 3-5 days, it has been a little 2 over weeks. I again called this morning, was told they would be out this afternoon. I heard nothing. Called back again. Was told it would be another 3-5 days, which I am now seeing as a common answer among all the bad reviews. Have since called multiple times, was told that the owner, Elijah, would call me. Still haven’t anything and not really expecting to. It has been a horrible experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE DISHONEST AND HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (since it’s only an answering service that doesn’t actually do anything). Save yourself the headache and go with an actual honest, good company.

We had a new AC put in by them a year ago. It is now not working. We called two weeks ago when it could not get below 78 degrees. We were told someone would call us and the never did. Yesterday it went out completely. They told us today that someone was coming out today to fix it. We hear nothing and then when we call for an update as the work day is ending they say it will be 3-5 days. Every time we contact them it is a different story and we still have no AC. Honest AC? If you can’t come out for 3-5 days try being honest about that up front. At least I could have called another company today for faster relief. When we wanted a new unit installed they were wonderful ... now that they have our thousands of dollars and we need their warranty to be honored, they are unwilling to be professional. My home is 91 degrees. I hope they are enjoying the AC of their call centers and trucks. Don’t use this company unless you want a headache.

If I could give this company no stars I would but it makes you select one to leave a review. As long as you're making a purchase you might be in good shape but if you've already purchased a new unit only a year old and this year it stops cooling with a warranty they WILL NOT come to service your unit under warranty!!! Supposedly they have a 3-5 day business policy before they can get to you well we're now beyond 5 business days and they still haven't came to see why my air is not working in 90+ degree Florida heat, this is pathetic and this company is obviously money hungry...why offer a damn warranty but for what if they're not going to uphold the warranty by coming to see why the unit they placed only 1 year ago is no longer cooling. I'm beyond livid and I'll be making further complaints with the BBB

We are still waiting for sevice tech 2 days later scheduled between 3 and 6 pm... no show. Left several messages and no return call. Still no air ..... just paid $5000 and cant get a simple service call . Warranty is useless. Just discovered no permit ever pulled. The absolute worst customer service!!! Do not hire.... pay the extra $500 You get what you pay for Buyer Beware !!!!

I would leave them 0 stars if I could, this company is a complete disgrace. They don't care about their customers they don't have qualified technicians, they just want to get your money on installs and hope to never hear from you again! Such bad experiences all around. From install to service, to customer service, they decide when and whom they'll answer the calls to and you can wait up to 2 weeks or more, they just don't care about you! They offer warranty on labor but don't honor it, they never run a test on your unit to find the problem they will just hit you with a price, which most likely includes refrigerant cause is expensive and you can't tell if they used or not, and you'll have the same issues as before. It always seems to be a leak somewhere, even if your unit is new!! There's nothing HONEST about this company, just a bunch of scammers, be prepared to speak anything but English with the techs. I've dealt with this company since 2017 and I've been really patient but I've had Enough of their BS! And the customer service lady is the owner' girlfriend so good luck on that!!!! Don't waste your money and time waiting on them, you most likely have to pay someone else to come out and really fix your AC problems.
