Said they would be out at a certain time and never showed up. Called them the next day and did the same thing and they never showed. Do not recommend this company
Had an appointment over two hours ago. They have not shown up, mailbox full. Needless to say, I am disappointed. It is getting dark, wanted them to inspect the compressor (outside) as well as the air handler (inside). Hey they system is not broke--just needs some adjusting.
AVOID THIS COMPANY This used to be a good company, but should now be avoided as they have gone way downhill. I used them to install 4 separate AC units. They started with major brands but have swapped those out for less known brands. My final install was fine until tenant called a month later saying it was not running. FCCC sent out a tech that showed up driving their personal vehicle and said "company van has been in shop for weeks", which is not a good sign. Tech said issue was air flow and that the (new unit just installed by them) was oversized for the townhouse and I should install more vents to help. I decided to wait and then 3 days later the tenant called again to report a $700 electric bill for the past month. I called FCCC again for multiple days and finally got through and setup an appointment to investigate more. FCCC skipped that appointment. I called another company since I was bleeding money and they found the issue in 5 minutes: turns out FCCC was using a recalled thermostat known for problems and the AC was running 24x7 causing the high electric bills. I did finally talk to owner "Ed" and, like other here have mentioned, he was going to think about it get back to me but then ghosted me and I am left with $700 electric bill plus $300 for competitor repairs. The owner used to file all paperwork and the city would come inspect (as required). With new owner and the latest install, however, they stopped doing that completely as it was a hassle... Lots of warning flags here and best to avoid.

I subscribe to the service plan. $15 a month is charged to my credit card WITHOUT FAIL OR DELAY. For this fee I am to receive 2 cleanings and checkups a year and discounted priority service. I have been trying to schedule service for months and nobody will return my calls. Another month passes and another charge but NO SERVICE and NO CALL BACK.
Great company for installation, horrible for follow up & service. They installed my new ac system in 2018, had to replace my thermostat in 2019, now (2021) my the evaporator coils need replacing! Call after call is not returned. Website is down, their listing is taken off Angie's List, and rated 'F' with the BBB.
I have had them hear two times f in the last two weeks system they installed Feb 2018. The unit blows cold runs and stops every 10 minutes before it heats upThey told me it would be a week before someone could come and check the system We have also had problems with the discharge drain line blocking several times each year. I hope the problem is fixed.Ktried to contact the company on July 21st and 22ndNo one answers the phone they don't return your phone calls it's the same problem that we had in the past they want to sell you the productt they don't want to service it
My air handler was leaking a small amount of water and I was working with Ed the owner (after one of his guys came and had no idea what he was doing and didn’t even have the needed tools, he borrowed mine). After several visit they couldn’t figure it out. Then Ed went silent on me. Said he wanted to figure it out and would call me with a time to come out and look at it again. I never heard from him and after reaching out still no response. I finally called American Standard who recommended another company who knew right away what the issue was and fixed it. I know have a new HVAC company I’ll be using and will never use this company again.
Make sure you do research before using this company. They are highly unprofessional and do not keep appointments. It took 3 days for anyone to even contact me back. They serviced my unit 3 weeks ago and I had to hire another company that is certified to tell me I have a coolant leak. If they serviced my unit correctly we would have known this 3 weeks ago.
Our go to AC company. I highly recommend using them.
We gave our business card to our 85 yr.old neighbor whos air went out a week ago.his caretaker called at 10 a.m. and by 3;00 his air was going Ernie had to come back earlier in the day but was so awesome and informative that we were so grateful and so was our neighbor thanks Ernie
Amazing quality, great price
First Coast Climate Control is a very professional air condition repair and replacement company. I called them out last year this time. My unit was at the place of no return. I called First Coast Climate Control and set up the appointment. Alex came out and we went over every detail concerning a new unit. He didn't rush us or anything. He really had the listening ear and had excellent suggestions. We chose the unit that we would be satisfied with. The techs were very knowledgeable with the installation. We have used First Coast Climate Control for the 2nd time and they are excellent. Found them through Google search. We have a Florida Aquifer Heat pump A/C. Our home was built in 1954. Not sure when the A/C system was installed but its ancient. We kept it when we purchased the home 3 1/2 years ago since it was still working. We have had a freon leak a year and half ago, First Coast Climate came out on a weekend service call. They waived the service call fee with repair and filled in with freon. This Memorial 2019 weekend the inside temp hit 85. We placed an Emergency call to First Coast and Earnie came out on the next afternoon (Sunday). He spent an hour going over the unit and testing everything. He explained the system is very old and its extremely hot outside so the unit is working as hard as it can! When it came time for the bill he said they were not even gonna charge us. We asked about converting to a new system and he gave us specs of what we would need in the future. Excellent service. Highly recommend!!!
Received prompt service from my phone call about an electrical problem from my Daiken AC that was installed over the summer. The operator immediately dispatched a technician (Rasheed Itani) who determined the problem and got it fixed. I have experienced this same type of service before and glad they are handling my HVAC. First Coast Climate Control provided great service to our older house, replacing the air conditioning duct work. We now have cleaner air, our system is more efficient and there are no leaks. This work provided us a healthier environment and a lower electric bill. Hats off to First Coast!
What a great outfit! I had issues with my downstairs HVAC unit back in Jan, and after several false starts with a company sent by my home warranty provider, I called First Coast. They sent a tech quickly who fixed the problem efficiently and cost effectively. Several weeks ago, my upstairs HVAC unit started having issues. They sent Rasheed out who diagnosed the issue, discovered the warranty info, and fixed the problem. In the process, he discovered that the compressor was starting to go also and was under warranty. I was leaving for a 2 week trip too soon to fix it then, so he got the unit set to work for what I needed while I was gone and said we could schedule the compressor replacement when I got back. I called to schedule, and Nia worked with me to get Rasheed out within 2 days, when it fit best in my schedule. I really recommend these guys if you need HVAC work. Very professional, flexible, and reasonably priced.
I interviewed 5 HVAC companies......First Coast Climate Control was the only company that recognized I had a problem that none of the other companies picked up. They did a first class job on installation, explaining how everything worked (including new thermostat) and cleaning up afterwards. Their attitude and determination to perform a meticulous job was obvious. They were a little higher than the other companies, BUT PERFORMED MUCH MORE OF THE WORK NEEDED than any other company was going to do. I highly recommend you ask for Ernie (lead installer) and Levi, they worked great together and took their time in making sure all work was meticulous and that I was happy with the job. If I could have given 6 stars I would have. PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR THE UNIT I RECEIVED AND QUALITY OF THE WORK! P.S. I have no interest in this company (business or otherwise). I will recommend them to all my friends and will use no other to service my unit. If they are slightly higher in price than other companies.........PAY IT.....YOU GET FIRST CLASS SERVICE AND FIRST CLASS PRODUCTS - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
I can't say enough good things about First Coast Climate Control (formerly Certified Climate Control). I called them requesting a quote for a new HVAC system because mine went out. I spoke with Alex on the phone for an initial quote and then he came out to fine tune the details. Communication was excellent! He was very thorough in his quote and also extremely patient with all of my questions and requests. We have two ac units for our two story house and were looking for the best value of SEER vs price, humidity control, and air purification. I felt like Alex really tried to understand what I was looking for and was surprised to find out their price was the most competitive. Once we decided what we wanted, Alex was very clear on the process and set very clear expectations. On the day of the install, Ernie, Levi, and Lee worked tirelessly to get everything installed and working properly. I offered them lunch and drinks, but they politely declined because they had planned ahead with their own food and drinks. These guys worked incredibly hard in the Florida heat! They were overly cautious with our home and covered all the carpet with drop cloths to be sure nothing was damaged. When they were done, they walked us through everything and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. I would highly recommend Alex, Ernie, and team to anyone in the area that needs HVAC help. My parents had a good experience with this company and recommended them to me. So, I called to schedule an a/c repair. The person who answered the phone was so abrupt and uncourteous that I didn't even make an appointment.
