I was an established customer of this company. They gave me an appointment that I waited almost two weeks for but they did not show up. They didn't even call. They did call the next day and wanted to set up another appointment almost two weeks later. They appear to be too busy to honor their commitments. They certainly don't value my business. Try somewhere else addendum Your computer generated response is noted. If you want to fix this you can call me. You have my name, number and address in your records. If you don't, that is fine. addendum 2 Jim fixed this problem to my satisfaction. Thank you
The tech was ok but the manager was really truly sucks. Please use others and do not waste your money. They just want $$$.
I hired Unique Services – Heating, Cooling and Plumbing Bradenton FL on a Sunday to supply and install a gas water heater, The heater was delivered, and a Unique plumber started the installation. I observed him and I questioned his expertise, he told me that he never had installed a water heater and that he had worked in construction and that he has very limited plumbing experience. The installer completed his work around 4:00 PM. I told him that I was not satisfied with the work, and he assure that another installer would return on Monday. Nobody showed up, I called Unique and asked the phone operator that I wanted to talk to one of their managers to explain him that their installer did not come, that the installation was not complete, and that I was smelling gas. I was advised that all their managers were busy, and they would call me. No call on Monday this was repeated every day until Thursday when I was advised that an installer would be at my house on Friday 9:00 AM. No installer arrived. Again, after calling the installer arrived and told me he had worked on another job. He checked the installation and he judgement was what a mess. There was a gas leak because several pipe connections were not tight. He tried to correct the mess with the rest of the installation. but he said that would require more time than his supervisor had allocated for the job. After unable to talk to any of their supervisors I stopped calling. Recommendation never use Unique to do any job at your property they are not reliable.
Spent 2 hours with salesman, Dunphy. He did not provide an estimate as promised nor even the decently of a return call. Unique is so unprofessional that I could not consider using them. Thankful I used another company, a company that I could trust. My suggestion is to use any other air conditioning company, just not Unique.
I called Unique Services to replace the HVAC in my house. They set up and appointment but were a no-show. A few minutes before the appointment I got a call from a gentleman who said he was the owner of the company, and that the technician could not come because of a family emergency. Fair enough, it happens. Then he said he could give me a quote over the phone if I sent him photos of the model numbers of each unit. I did that. He quoted me an amount and said they could come and install within 3 days. I was very impressed. I requested a formal quote on their company letterhead via email. He said he would do it shortly. I reminded him the next day. No response. I called their main number. The customer service associate was courteous and assured me that someone would get back to me at the earliest. 2 days later still nothing. I called again. Once again, the associate on the phone was professional and seemed earnest in in telling me that they will follow through. I also got a text saying that the server was down, hence the delay. That was 2 weeks ago. Bottom line, they are unresponsive and lack professionalism. It seems like they are in an 'ambulance chaser' mode trying to capitalize on the "spoils" of Hurricane Ian.
My AC/ Unit is 4 Years old , my Maintenance GUY come over form Unique to check my AC & Unit , then he told me, that UNIQUE docent work anymore with DIAKEN this company-,exactly this company,which was recommended from them to me for 4 years ago, also there told me , my Warrenty is not longer with them and I need to pay now for everything extra , now Warrenty &&&&& I call the manufacturing to ask them , and there told us we have over 10 Years a full Warrenty incl. Labor &&& - Fact , Unique Worker incl. the Sale Manager both was Lien to me , the only risen was for them to get my to buy after HURRICANE IAN a NEW AC & Unit - I call my Lawyer told and send him everything from them, End is : I cant trust a company there try clear to Lien on my and my Wife , also the CEO comes out to my House he was so nervous & nicely that I not suing the company- we find a solution for both Site , I will never every will work with them again, PLEASE make always your your RESEARCH , call Manufactory to make sure that you be on the Right Site with your Company !!! BAD Experience
The tech Eddie was knowledgeable very polite and he was able to fix the problem and waited. For the unit to be working good. A big SHOUT OUT for EDDIE.
Very unprofessional and the guys only cares about how much money can be made. The issue was not resolved and he didn't care to wait and see if the unit was working before he left Absolutely horrible and would not recommend
I came out of Home Depot this morning and was asked by a young lady working for Unique if I would like to have my HVAC checked and serviced for $9.99. Since we had just bought the house and did not fully know the condition of our unit, I agreed. An appointment was made for the afternoon of the same day and Eddie from Unique arrived on-time, knowledgable, and very personable. There was no attempt to try to sell me something I did not need and by doing so Unique has just gained a new customer.
Richard was amazing and fast to diagnose the problem which was bigger than I imagine. My unit is about 16 years so it was in its last breath. He was able to find the problem quickly and get us that sweetie cool air fast as we do leave in florida. That humity might kill you
John Kelly from Parish Florida, a supervisor for repairs, , he drove 2 hours down yesterday to fix my a/c, the motor died , after it being broke 3 days, he was very nice, professional, quick. He is a great employee and i wanted Unique to know, i was very impressed and got it fixed before Thanks giving.
Chase Buckley the comfort advisor was one of the most professional people I have ever been exposed to in my home, his knowledge and complete coverage of the service they would provide was awesome. This young man is going along way in this business. Frank Harp
Richie was our tech. Will recommend him to everyone! Great service, great price. You can tell Richie is well versed and knowledgeable and found issues that are last AC company overlooked.
Richie was great he relieved my concerns because I didn't really trust my original AC installers. And patiently explained my options.
Vinny was the representative that came to my home today. He went over and beyond. Outstanding customer service. Very professional.
Technician Vincent was on time, polite, well spoken and explained everything to me. Finished the repair and left no mess. I would highly recommend him and Unique. I’ve been very pleased with their service.
This company is a Home Depot partner. I got an AC tuneup for $9.00. Yes, as in nine bucks. HD had a promo so I said OK. I was a little hesitant at first, but it was very legit. Vinny did a great job inspecting the unit, taking temperatures from the intake and the ceiling vents. He explained everything he did and didn’t seem to mind my following him around. I had told him that it seemed to be working well. We just bought the house in March and I know from the old owner’s records the unit was just over 2 years old. It felt great when Vinny’s said it was a fine unit in great shape, he didn’t have to fix or add or adjust anything. He is a true professional and very personable. I will use Unique for my AC needs going forward
Our AC unit had stopped cooling our house so it was time to bite the bullet and get someone in to repair it. We did not remember what company we used in the past so having seen my neighbor use Unique Air, I set up a time for the evening. Upon arrival, our service man Vinny set out to repair the problem. He found the problem right away showing he had expirence and knew his way around an AC unit. It turned out to be a burnt celluloid to which he replaced. I relayed the age of the unit which he was able to confirm but surprisingly did not try to sell us a new unit like so many other companies have done in the past. Vinny made suggestions on what Brands and power ratings we should be looking for plus he explained what the different ratings mean. He did not act like a car mechanic by throwing out terms that most people won't understand. I made an appointment to talk with a sales person about getting a new unit not because they were there but because Vinny was such a standup guy. I will deffenetly request they send out Vinny as well have have my friends request his presence for all their AC service needs.
Vinnie did an excellent job and he got in touch with Unique to get an electrician out to check electrical issues we are having that are unrelated to A/C maintenance call. Feel he went above & beyond what was required of his service call. Thank you Vinnie for your help today.
The Technician, Vinnie was on time, he was courtesy to my home and wore all of the protective gear that I would expect (Mask, Shoe Covers, Gloves, etc.). He quickly diagnosed some additional items of concern beyond my regular Maintenance Visit and unclogged a slow draining Condensate line which was causing the system to trip one of its safety switches rendering itself non-operable on an intermittent basis! He cleaned up and genuinely thanked me for my business! SALUTE VINNIE!!
