I could not be happier! This is the second time using them, they first installed a new ac system and then my hot water heater. Modern Services was amazing! My hot water heater went out on a Monday night and they were there Tuesday to replace! Everyone is so kind and professional! I would definitely give 10 stars if I could! Pricing is beyond reasonable and the customer service is above and beyond! Thank you to everyone at Modern Services!
Don’t ever use these people for your HVAC. They over charged us and also put the whole unit in incorrectly which caused all kinds of water to be inside and keep the filter wet all the time. They tried to convince me that was normal! It is not! We had another company come to take a look and they fixed it right away! Also these people did not close out the permit. So we had to pay to have it closed so we wouldn’t get fined. It was all around a bad experience!

Jackson and Cade installed my air conditioning unit this morning. They were very professional as well as helpful. Garbage trucks were in park today and it is tight fit with other trucks. Made sure garbage was picked up-even took containers to curb. Very careful getting unit through carport making sure they didn’t damage anything. Both kind and personable. Wasted no time getting it installed. Kept focused on what they were doing. Juan was helpful as well and also very personable. Although it turned out to be unnecessary, when I called my husband, he volunteered to talk to him about what you would be installing as well as to explain the financing info. I thought it to be a fair price and a professional job. Only one small problem. Juan explained that the price included a new thermostat, so either Juan did not know or Jackson & Cade were not informed because they said it was not. So I just suggest that be discussed so they can be on the same page. Other than that, job well done!
Shaheed Timmons did my semi-annual maintenance on my two air conditioners and was very professional. He took great pride in his work and was very conscientious about his work. He also spent the time explaining what he was doing and why it was important to do it well. I would love to have him as my regular service man.
I am house sitting for my sister and I was highly impressed with the service of the two men who performed it. The owner should be happy that Logan and Cam where such a pleasure to meet and their work ethics are phenomenal.
Wes was very professional , knowledgeable and thorough in explaining savings to replace 3 yr uv lamps verses 1 yr uv lamps. He did a great ac maintenance service.
I initially chose to use Modern Services a few years ago when my a/c went out. Modern Services was able to get to my house quickly, diagnosed and repaired the issue, and directed me to efforts I could take to prevent having future problems with the unit. I also signed up for the maintenance plan wherein a HVAC technician comes out twice a year to make sure there are no issues that need to be addressed. Recently, an technician named Shaheed Timmons came to do the maintenance check. He was prompt, acted without delay, and was very comprehensive with his review. He took a lot of pictures and was able to clearly explain what they showed. I can't imagine there are other companies that can provide better service. There might not be many that could match the job Modern Services has provided for years.
Ok I originally was not going to leave a nice review but after my whole situation had passed I put all emotions aside and Modern Services was very professional every step of the way. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. One thing after another and then another happened. All was beyond anyone’s control but I really felt helpless at times. Shenitria and Howard in the office were great and let me vent at times. I can’t remember the 4 technicians who came to my residence to fix the AC, but all knew their jobs and were very professional. All in all not the best situation but it was not modern services fault. Thank you for letting me vent at times and fixing my AC several times over and over.
At 5:30 in the evening our air conditioner just stopped working. I called Modern Services who we have used for about 20 years. Within 2 hours the technician was here at the house and went right to work. I was very impressed with Shaheed the technician. He took pictures of the parts that weren't working, explained what caused the problem, gave tips on how to prevent the problem from happening again and although it was pouring down rain and dark outside he had a good attitude about getting the unit back up and running and making sure everything was back in order. Shaheed was my service representative and I was very happy with his work. Shaheed did a thorough job with our system maintenance visit. He explained everything he was doing in a manner which I clearly understood and showed me parts of my system that needed repair. He was very attentive to my questions and presented himself in a professional manner. I will definitely ask that he be my representative for my next service visit.
Shaheed was excellent. He was very through and efficient. Easy to work with and the explanations of my problem were clear and concise. I will definitely ask for him when the need arises.
Shaheed is professional, knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge. He’s wonderful to deal with. Shaheed made recommendations for things I could do for my HVAC system to make it run more efficiently and to help it last longer. He’s a great guy with a kind manner. in the future, for maintenance visits, I plan to work my schedule around his availability. This was an excellent experience!
I called modern services at about 5pm, by 7pm I received a call from Technician James in North Port and at 9 pm the estimate for my repairs was in my email inbox. This service was AMAZING, responsive, and professional the entire way. James was kind and understanding after the craziness hurricane Ian left behind. Thank you so much.
James Williams took care of our slow sink drain. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Arrived earlier than expected. Highly recommend James for your plumbing needs.
During Hurricane Ian our back-flow completely broke off. A few days later, our neighbors had water and we were unsure when we could get our back-flow fixed to have running water. Thankfully James Williams was able to brace the flood waters to come save us. We were finally able to shower and wash dishes after days of having no water. Thank you so much for coming to our rescue when we thought we wouldn’t stand a chance getting someone to come out.
