They improperly installed the ac unit on the roof and than wanted 485.00 to fix it according to wynmoor. They cursed at my wife and myself when requested to fix the issue
I’ve used Air First for several years, maintaining and installing systems. Most recently, I was dealing with an inside fan issue. Dan did everything he could to replace the fan and get it to work correctly. My older system was just not talking to the ECM fan motor the way it should. We decided to replace the entire system on short notice. Dan worked it out and had his crew there within three days, arrived when they said they would, installed it, cleaned up afterwards, no issues. Great service at a reasonable price.
I made the appointment with Air First Inc. of Deerfield Fl. 6 days prior and I called to confirm before they supposed to arrived a gentleman answered and he said they were coming and so I waited and waited and waited and no show not even a courtesy call. I waited all day for them and not even a call back ever. Really bad service no common courtesy. Do not use this company there are other companies out there…
I have been using Air First to maintain my AC for several years now. They have always been on time for their appointments. They are always professional and their prices are reasonable. They have always explained any issues they found and made recommendations in my interest and not just to make money. In one case, there was mold in my air handler; instead of recommending an expensive UV unit, they disinfected the unit and recommended that we wait to see if the issue recurred - it did not. Most recently, the fan on my compressor had indications of an oil leak; instead of jumping to a replacement, Dan said that it tested fine and recommended that we wait and observe the fan. Professional, friendly, competent, and reasonably priced - What more can you ask for?
Dan Thaler of Air First Air Conditioning Company is one of those rare service people who combines professional competence, personal service, reasonable pricing, and personality. Calling the company, Dan answers his own phone, and responds quickly and in a friendly manner. In the last seven months, Dan has serviced our whole HVAC system, replaced our mini split, and repaired our ducts. After ten years working with another company, we were looking for a new air conditioning service. The previous company had sold its business to an out-of-town corporation. Asking around among my neighbors, many recommended Dan highly. At first, I was perplexed by some of his internet reviews, but I liked him so much personally that I decided to give him chance. We have been thrilled dealing with Dan. We had gotten several bids for replacement of our mini split. Not only was Dan's bid the most competitive, but we were struck by how much he cared about delivering us the best product and service afterward. He told us honestly and openly what he thought about some of the other recommendations and products. Dealing with Dan feels like I have a brother in the air-conditioning business. He takes care of my air con and me as if I am his brother. I recommend him without reservation or hesitation
We've used air first twice. Once for an emergency repair, once for a full installation. They came over the same day we called both times. The repair was finished within 2 hours of calling, and the new installation was done within 24 hours. The prices were very reasonable, and the employees were great. I've recommended them to others, and have always heard good feedback after the job was done. They'll continue to be my go-to A/C company!
Air First removed my 12 year old unit and installed a brand new Rheem system. The install crew was on time, quick, and professional. When they left everything was picked up, neat and clean. Ice cold AC! Would absolutely recommend.
Tried to hustle my mother (senior) with a $140 air filter replacement. Thought this sounded high and found the same OEM filter for less than $20. Stay away.
Very good company to deal with. Fair pricing and they are here when they say they will be. Also, the staff is very nice!

Air First is highly unprofessional in both their demeanor and the quality of their work. They installed several mini splits and was scheduled to do more at the condo assoc where I worked in the office. However, his work was inferior and our new install was leaking water onto the drywall. After several visits back to "fix" the leaking unit for which they’d already been paid,, the problem remained, but instead of showing concern for the damage being caused by it, the owner began demanding money for "repairs" to the AC they JUST installed! His invoice noted he "serviced two units" for $500 (he couldn't specify which units for the purpose of billing) Meanwhile the AC is still leaking down the wall on his new install, and all Air First cares about is the unpaid $500. He threatened both myself and the maintenance guy verbally when the treasurer wouldn't sign a check due to the unresolved and continuous issue, even though neither of us had power to execute payment . Air First was ALWAYS trying to rush us into what he said we needed, for which he has a semi-solution that will GUARANTEE you need him again tomorrow. Do your due diligence by checking around before hiring this company.
Dan and his entire staff always and I mean always go above and beyond in assuring the best possible service experience! Truly care and honest.
Dan came out to service our unit. He was professional, knowledgable and was very pleasant to speak with. I didnt feel like I was talking to a used car salesman. I strongly recommend this company.
