Miko was my technician and he was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and professional. He put on shoe covers to come in my house and thoroughly checked the AC system. Miko explained everything he was doing in detail and made sure I was aware of his movements throughout the house. Overall, I was very happy with the service I received.
Last week on Thursday I called Air-Flow Design and scheduled an A/C service call for this past Monday. I was told that the service technician would be out to my home on Monday sometime between 1:00 and 4:00pm. Monday morning around 12:00 noon I called the service dispatcher for a more precise time I could expect the tech to arrive and service my a/c. I was told that he had 1-1/2 calls he was working on and then would come to my house. At 4:00pm the tech called and said he would be here in about 30 minutes. He arrived at 4:40pm and looked at my thermostat and then called the service manager and said that my system was a split system with the air-handler was up in the attic. The tech said it was too hot for him to go up into the attic and it was close to his quitting time 5:00pm and they would have to schedule a tech to come out in the morning to service the system, He also complained that he was too big to fit through the access panel. I'm 6'-1" and weigh 220lbs and fit thru the access panel just fine. This guy wasted my entire day and ended up doing nothing to service my a/c except complain, complain, complain!!! This company has serviced my a/c many times and have done a fine job. This "Big Guy, in my opinion was simply lazy and wanted to go home?? Eli, a young energetic tech came to my home the next morning and diagnosed our problem in about 20 minutes.. Point is, you would think this A/C company would look into why some of their techs actually provide good service for their customers and Some Don't!!!! One would also think this company would know after serving this system for years that it’s a Heat Pump/ Split System and that the in-door air-handler would be installed in the attic. Most units are and ours has a walk/stand platform around it it so the "Big Guy" could have walked around the unit if he had just tried!! Today 6/28/2023, Technician Eli came back out to my house and promptly installed the new part and my A/C is running perfectly. Many times these g
Teck was very. knowledge of his work. Courteous and professional. Good job, I am very happy with Air Flow.
Warranty tech refuses to repair issues with their original installation. Ended up having to go back to the builder yet again.
We had a problem with our AC last week and called Air Flow (who installed the system a few years back) after normal working hours. I talked with their representative at around 6PM who put us in contact with a service tech, Manny. He asked some basic questions about the problem and said he would be at the house around 8 - 8:30PM. My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised and to his word arrived shortly after 8. He fixed the problem and had us back up and running in short order. Great service and pride, thanks Manny and Will who has also assisted us when needed. Highly Recommend Air Flow and their great team!
We have been with Air Flow Designs for over 20 years! We had our annual maintenance last week and the tech, Miko, was on time, professional and thorough as usual. He took care of our main unit and two mini splits that we have in our garage and outdoor unit. Thanks again for such great service!! C. Williams
We purchased a Carrier Infinity system less than two years ago. We have had several issues with this system. Today we learned the blower motor will need to be replaced and we will be without A/C until they get the part. Everytime they come they expect us to pay for the visit. This is under warranty. We should not have to pay. You sold and installed this expensive system. We are the ones without A/C. You should be paying us for the inconvenience.
Air flow designs is the only company I would use for my hvac needs. I highly recommend them to everyone I know. Herold was courteous and professional when he came to fix our ac. He was quick to respond to our request (especially being a Friday night), and went beyond what was asked of the job, as he made sure the system was clean and functioning properly.
I would NEVER do business with this company. I am the neighbor of another property owner that had a unit installed by this company, and their AC tech ran over a sprinkler head on my property and remained parked on it the whole day (1/31/2023). I noticed it, took videos, and looked at my security system to see the incident occur, which everything can be seen clearly. Now the company is trying to rid themselves of any liability to pay the bill to have the system inspected for damages, since no damages occurred. Similar to how they charge to assess your AC unit even if nothing is wrong, and the irrigation company did the same to me but the only difference being Air Flow Designs did not want to pay the assessment fee due to no damages being present despite their original negligence of driving on my property. This is just terrible business and lack of ownership as I attempted to contact their offices for two weeks to get a refund. At this time the company is not allowed on or around my property. 02/13/2023: I called and escalated since NO ONE called me back and all my 6+ voicemails and emails went unanswered. It should not take this much to get traction and something reimbursed that was not my fault. Here is the main point of the update, the company made me feel as if they were trying to bribe me to remove this honest review while I was discussing my reimbursement. I politely declined removing this post and receiving reimbursement of any kind from them at this time. I am taking the loss and walking away from this truly questionable company. I gave them multiple attempts to remediate this without being nasty and they had the nerve to sit knowing I left a negative review rather than remediate this situation sooner. Yet, here we are.. If you want a truly honest and upfront company use Franks AC, I've used them before and they don't lie or try to pass responsibility of any wrong doing.
Their tech Eli Lafermil is such a nice maintenance personnel. He is kind, efficient and does a good job.
AirFlow Design technician, Herold, was prompt, personable, and efficient. He took the time to explain how the system works, and answered my questions about what his tools were measuring, etc. He made recommendations for improved quality of air and how often the unit should be maintained. AirFlow Designs has an excellent employee in Herold, whose unique combination of technical and customer service skills work to put the customer at ease immediately.
Ive had excellent service from Air Flow since 2017 with various technicians coming out for both routine maintenance and service repairs. My most recent experience with technician Eli was a disaster. He was far from professional and I question his ability to do an honest job. He's not solely to blame for the misunderstanding but he bares 85% of the blame and the way he handled the little information he was presented with.
Fair price and great job on new system install
I have service contacts with Air Flow Designs for my residential air conditioning systems at two different properties going back to 2004. My current system wasn't cooling properly last week so I scheduled a technician to diagnose the problem. The technician was on-time, professional, and quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem. After ordering the necessary part, two technicians returned to replace the defective part and the system is back to working like new again! So often we hear about service contracts that aren't honored or companies who try to avoid doing what's right by citing some fine print in a contract... that's not my experience with Air Flow Designs. They provided outstanding service, and I am very satisfied. In a world with hundreds of HVAC companies that sell service contracts, I am very glad my residential HVAC service contract is with Air Flow Designs.
Technician was punctual, professional yet courteous and di a quick, efficent job
The fact the I called after not having anyone set an appointment to service my unit and revived bad attitudes and rude responses from Ashley and Austin and never but manager on the phone. I purchased a service plan and never received the service I paid for…BEWARE
As always the service is great. I have used the services for over 15 years and I have never had a complaint about anything. No matter who is sent to my home I always feel extremely satisfied with their work and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone who values good service.
I have been with Air Flow for over 30 years, on my third heat pump from them, and have a service contract with a medical priority. Recently, I lost my cold air early in the morning and had to call for emergency service. Even though I have a life-threatening health condition and no longer drive a car, their dispatcher told me that he couldn't send a tech until the next day. Luckily, my neighbor was able to take me in or I would have been in the hospital. I was able to call another company and got service within three hours. It was just a blown capacitor in the compressor that took the tech a few minutes to fix. Air Flow failed to honor their service contract and failed to give a long time customer with a serious health condition and with a service contract priority. I will never buy a service contract from them again. It's not worth the paper it's printed on. In the past, I have always had good service with them but I believe they have deteriorated. I am going to switch companies now for my service.
Tldr: great for new systems but maintenance calls are 2 months out and they may not show! Air Flow had no problem taking thousands and thousands of dollars from us when we did the install last year. They were extremely prompt and scheduled the install very, very quickly going so far as to drive to Jacksonville to get our unit. We called to schedule our yearly maintenance and the soonest they would schedule was 2 months out! We scheduled the appointment 2 months ago and today I waited all afternoon (5 hour window, not the typical 3 hr!). After not hearing from anyone in 4 hours I called the office and they seemed bothered with my asking if I was still on today's schedule. So the technician called 2 minutes after the 5 hours of waiting and asked if I still wanted him to come. Yes! He was an hour away! So 6 hours 15 min of waiting. But, the tech was stopped coming into my community and told if it wasn't an emergency he should reschedule (it's 7:15P). So that's what he decided to do! And I found out because I called him! If I had waited even longer maybe he would have called and let me know that I waited more than 6 hours for nothing. Or maybe he wouldn't have. He made it very clear on our last phone call that he was tired and wanted to go home so he decided that's what he was going to do. I get being tired but we have been waiting 6 hours (and two-months) for the appointment. I called the office and asked for a supervisor so of course a non-supervisor called. Apparently I won't get a supervisor to call until Monday. Obviously won't be recommending them to anyone in our community.
Had a really good experience with this company. The tech they sent, Joe, was very professional. He diagnosed the issue and explained everything as far as what exactly was wrong with the system and what my options were. They ordered the board that had failed and installed it same day it arrived. Will definitely do business with them in the future.
