Beware Beware Beware. Bad company to hire.They diagnosed my old Ac as needing to be replaced because it wasn't cooling good. Installed a new system and it still didn't cool any better. Come to find out I had a tear on my return duct. They said they would come back to fix it. They never came back. I never harassed them or acted in a mean fashion.I just simply wanted my Ac to cool my house.I paid them 6000 dollars and my AC doesn't still didn't cool any better than my old AC did. They don't return your call after you have a problem. The old owners ran a reputable business I wish I had known they got bought out by a very unscrupulous new owner. To this day my AC can't cool my house bellow 79 on a hot day. I try not to give bad reviews but they won't return my call to speak to me at all.

Tarpon has installed my whole house A/C and re-work my air duct as well. The system failed a year after the installation. They came and said we need sanitizer and purifier to remove clogs in drain system. We paid ~$4K and later find out that sanitizers are simple UV-C lights ~$160 each plus sanitizer is about $450. This business is a pure scam!

BUYER BEWARE: Tarpon Installed this unit a year ago and warrantied the work with PMA. 3-24-23 Scheduled Maintenance done & AC stopped working the next day. Fast Forward 2 weeks of Tarpon still not capable of fixing the unit. Tarpon claims that they were there and the tenant wasn't home, even though tenant tells us that they were there and left saying the tech couldn't figure it out and they needed to send someone else out there. Jessica says that the tenant waiting for over 2 weeks for air, is lying that this is her best tech and he wouldn't lie. Tech meets me out there on a Thursday at 4pm and tells me the board is dead and Tropic Supply closed at 4pm so it will be Monday before they can do anything else. (Why not Friday) I called Tropic Supply they are open until 5pm (LIARS) and Tropic Supply will open after hours & weekend for $150. (Which we would have gladly paid, w/the option) Monday we call them again, they tell us someone will call us back (BTW- were told that at least 15 times and NEVER got a call back- LIARS) Called every day this week at least 3-4 times per day Mon-Fri either they don't answer because they see our number calling or they answer and tell us someone will call them back and never does. I went to their office to get an answer today because they won't respond or answer the phones and their shop is PERMANATLY CLOSED- NOT LOCATED THERE ANYMORE. Called OCEAN BREEZE HEATING AND COOLING at 3:11pm- These guys are AMAZING!!! Just got a call at 4:04pm they fixed it. It's not the mother board, it's their best technicians that are incompetent on their best days. Call Ocean Breeze Heating & Cooling for real techs. At least 25 calls & 45+ days and Ocean Breeze fixes it 45 mins with drive time included and putting the unit back together from the way he found it from Tarpon Heating & Cooling.

Even though this company lost everything in the Hurricane they were still out trying to help everyone else with their problems, including myself. They came out and were honest about my system still working properly but due to it being submerged in water I decided to still replace with then. They were able to order, install, and make sure everything passed inspection within a couple days. I was very impressed. They are working mobile without a office. Please give them a call if you need help. Let's help our local small businesses though these unprecedented times.

Had done business with these folks in the past. Will never use them again. Scott the technician was very rude and condescending. He also me accused for not pay my bill from a previous services a couple of years ago. This use to be a top notch company..

Multiple callbacks after their full AC system installation to no avail. Once a warrantied part was identified, they disappeared. No returned phone calls, claimed change of ownership withdrew any warranty responsibilities on their part. Extremely rude receptionist who hung up on me. It was easy to call another vendor who had no trouble getting the warranty work accomplished. I would steer far clear of Tarpon Air.

Poor workmanship on air conditioner, ducts and insulation.They used no permits for City of Cape Coral, did not show up for appointments..Workman unplugged our refrigerator/freezer and we lost about 300 dollars worth of food. We received no invoice or warranty . Just received our product registration today . Very dissatisfied. There was only one man that knew what he was doing and he saved the whole installation. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Beware of this company.

Stay clearly away from this company they don’t now complete the job they took the money and it has been well over three weeks and job is not complete!!!! Unit is not cooling properly ducts aren’t hooked up!!!! They keep saying they will send someone out and they never show. Filing bbb report.

We just bought a home couple of months ago in Cape Coral. We live 1200 miles away so we have a neighbor checking on the place weekly. Got a call from our neighbor that our A/C was not working... (go figure right!!!). I got online looking for a company with good reviews and one we could trust to open our home and fix A/C without walking away with any of our personal items. Tarpon had great reviews so I thought I'd give them a try. They showed up same day, opened front door with our key box and fixed the issues. They kept me informed the whole way and price was very reasonable and they didn't touch or take our things. I love this company and will spread the word on their greatness. We will continue to use them for all of our HVAC needs Thanks Tarpon. You guys are the best!!!

Woke up with AC issues. Decided to call Tarpon because they’re local and close to home. The men showed up within 15 mins of my initial call. The men were prepared, professional and able to quickly diagnose our issue. The response time was absolutely remarkable! After speaking with the tech, he advised he would grab the necessary part to complete the repair, he was back at the unit installing it in 5 mins! From the time I called, to the time the issue was completely resolved was a total of 37 minutes! I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Tarpon to anyone in need.
