I'm very impressed with the service from Airman Heating and Cooling, Inc. I had them come out to my new home figure out why I had a musty odor every time the system kicked on. The owner, Darrell informed me that the air handler was installed incorrectly and without permits. He offered to re-install the unit but I ultimately decided to replace the entire system. The communication from the company and staff was superior. They kept me updated every step of the way, which was so unusual as customer service in this country is at an all-time low. The day of installation, the crew arrived shortly before the scheduled time...I like that. The job was done efficiently and every speck of debris was cleaned up before they left. Even the details of how the duct trunks are insulated can be appreciated. Installing the new system with an air cleaner made a HUGE difference of the air quality inside my home. I highly recommend Airman Heating and Cooling, Inc. You will NOT be disappointed.

We were referred to Airman by our friend Jeff after he had a great experience with the company. Darrell did an initial review of our home and its venting and A/C unit needs. Our house was built in 1985 and did not have proper venting along with the current system not being of the appropriate size for our home. The communication process with Paulette & Darrell before, during and after the project was A+. This is our second home as our primary home is in Wisconsin. It's very difficult to find this level of service from contractors in SWFL. I highly recommend Airman!!!
We have been using airman for years for repairs and they always come out same day or the next morning. They are always very friendly and the air works well again. Recently, when we were getting a new roof for hurricane Ian repairs, our gas line was punctured. We called airman and they worked with us to get the lines replaced and put in some blocks to prevent that from happening again. We also recently had them replace our ac system and they were punctual, timely and now the air flows in all the rooms much better than before. I highly recommend this company.
They replaced my complete system. They did a very good job completely professional all the way. They keep all agreements made and took the uncertainty out of just picking anyone from the local phone book jungle. The workmanship was perfect no cutting corners. I look forward to working with this company for many years to come.
We had our HVAC system inspected after hurricane Ian and were told that we needed to replace our system as there were clicking noises on the air conditioner indicating that there were broken parts and the furnace had mold starting to grow due to the 11 day power outage. We had previously installed a whole house purification system that we were told was working properly. The total for a new HVAC system was approximately $10,000, but the price would go up 40-60% after January 1. We knew we would need to get a second opinion so we called Airman Heating & Cooling and talked to Paulette. She was wonderful to work with, set an appointment for the same day, called to confirm and then called to let me know that Darrel was on his way. Who does that nowadays? I was just amazed at how easy and stress free it was to do this. I wish Paulette worked for all the companies we have had to call for service after Ian!! Darrel came out and inspected our entire system. He indicated that our air conditioner was working properly, added some coolant and then started on the furnace. Our furnace was very clean, no mold detected. He also said that our whole house purification system was not working. When he checked further, he found that the wire to the system had been cut. He fixed it and it now works great. He said that we had a good system and that they install this system for approximately $900. We had paid almost three times that much for the system. We were very satisfied with the entire process - amazed at how professional and stress free it was. We are now utilizing Airman for all of our HVAC needs and will go nowhere else. We have no hesitation in HIGHLY recommending Airman!
All I have to say is wow! He was here over two hours replaced a few items because we live in an older house though our unit is only six years old and I thought for sure the bill was going to be astronomical but I was shocked when he gave me the final amount (thrilled) my sister in brother-in-law have been using air man for years and they recommended them to us… This company does not gouge you does not replace or suggest things that are not needed they are beyond reasonable I will say it again they are beyond reasonable …… absolutely blown away and my wallet is happy too - thank you guys so much we will be calling you once summer begins just to make sure everything‘s running smoothly still!!!!
Somehow, my original Review disappeared from here while I was doing an update, following the City Inspection today. Now I'm having to write a new one! But ya know what? This doesn't bother me just because of the TREMENDOUS work done by AirMan. I normally don't write Reviews....muchless, rewrite one that somehow vanished!! In this case with AirMan, I make a big exception. I have a HUGE DISTRUST in "Contractors" here in SWFL. I can't say that with AirMan. Last month my AC started giving me problems and unfortunately it was on a Saturday. So, I'm thinking, here we go....Weekend Service Call pricing IF they could even make it at such short notice. Paulette at the office first off, was and is not only one of the friendliest people on the Planet, she's also extremely knowledgeable about everything AC related. She informed me that Darrel, also another one of the friendliest people on the Planet, PLUS HE'S THE OWNER.....THERE AREN'T TOO MANY OWNERS OUT IN THE FIELD IN THIS LINE OF WORK......should be at my house by noon and she would call when he was about 30 minutes away. She called and they were actually EARLY! I've used AirMan for roughly 4 or 5 years and they have ALWAYS been extremely friendly, they've done great work,, always prompt and ALWAYS at a FAIR PRICE. This time, the news wasn't good....my system was on it's last leg. Darrel did everything he could to try to keep it running and informed me that the repair may only last a day or maybe a week at the longest....it lasted 3 days. 1st thing Tuesday morning, I called AirMan and informed Paulette it had bitten the dust. Within a couple of hours, Darrel was at my house installing, AT NO CHARGE, Window Units to help keep us cool until he could get a system. Here's where it gets really good. There was only 1 SYSTEM MY SIZE IN SWFL....In Pt. Charlotte. It was, I believe, the top of the RUUD line. However, with Darrel being what's called a "Pro Partner" with RUUD, he got the system ahead of other Contractors trying to ge
What a pleasure it was to deal with this company. With so many HVAC contractors to choose from - it’s enough to make your head spin. What sets these guys apart is that they are not a sales company. Darrel (the owner) came out to do the estimate and was also the installer (along with his brother Jared) for a brand new unit - air handler/condenser. Usually (with other larger companies) the estimator/sales guy comes out and goes through everything with you and expectations are set. Then an installation crew comes out (that you have never seen or met before) and you hope for the best. With Airman you don’t have to worry about any of that! Darrel’s craftsmanship, professionalism, openness, transparency, and attention to detail are second to none. He will not stop until you are 100% satisfied. Darrel’s wife (Paulette) is also very kind and takes all the calls with such a positive attitude. Another plus - Paulette gave me an on-boarding call the day prior to the installation just letting me know when the guys were coming, what to expect, etc. Superb communication all around! I strongly suggest that the next time your friends, family, or neighbors experience issues - call Airman. You will not be disappointed!

Our AC stopped working while we were on vacation. I called Airman H&C and a technician was sent out the same day. It was a simple matter of clogged filters and not an extensive issue. The technician was upfront and honest and did NOT try to upsell me anything or exaggerate the problem. Very appreciative of their work and ethics. We will definitely call them again should anything go wrong.
I google A/C companies in my area and picked the one with the best reviews. I expected to wait a few hours for a response or service call. However, I called Airman Heating and Cooling. Paulet picked up immediately. Not only was she very positive for a Monday but she also seemed sincerely concerned on how she could help me. Within a few minutes Paula had someone in route to my home. Darrel showed up promptly and was very Professional. He didn't beat around the bush and was very honest with me about the condition of my system and what was going on with it. When it was all said and done, he had my system up and running within a couple of hours of making the initial call. I recommend this company to anyone looking for professional, honest, and reliable service. Extremely pleased and Satisfied!!!
Excellent experience w/ Airman. First time needing service in a recently purchased home. Our neighbors recommended we call Darrel at Airman. We called after hours when our AC unit started blowing warm. They scheduled a tech for same day visit. Darrel was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to explain what our older unit needed for both today, and over time to ensure we get the most out of it. I would happily recommend Airman and Darrel to anyone in need of heating and cooling needs. Five stars all day long!
Honest! Knowledgeable! Professional! These are a few of the amazing qualities of the staff of Airman Heating & Cooling! We have been using them for almost 10 years now; from maintenance to installation and they have treated every service with the same kind of quality! We highly recommend them!!!
***2 year update*** Very glad I got that warranty! My AC unit outside started to make a very loud buzzing noise and was bothering (understandably!) the neighbors. Called Airman to come take a look and once again they were so quick to respond to my call. My unit was leaking and needed a new part. The cost of the repair was more than I spent on the warranty! Cost to me? $0. Get the warranty. You'll be glad you did. ***End update*** This is the best company I have found. I've been through liars, cheaters, and scammers trying to find a good AC company. Airman Heating and Cooling was the first company I felt completely comfortable with. Paulette is a pleasure to speak to. You feel like family and not a customer on a conveyer belt at checkout. They even answered questions on an install they weren't even doing (wish you guys serviced Naples!) My old AC gave no notice and quit in the middle of summer! I spoke to quite a few AC companies and just speaking with Paulette I knew they were the one. They came so fast to install a new AC. No one else could make it for 2 weeks. The guys that came to install were so nice and courteous. If I had a question they had no problem answering with a smile. They protected my floors, made no mess, and cleaned up everything after they were done. They handled my warranty and financing so the whole process was painless. Inspection passed in less than 10 minutes. The difference in my electrical bill is pretty much covering the AC payments. If you don't want to be scammed, lied to, or cheated and you want to feel like family with warm smiles and wonderful customer service, use Airman. I can't recommend them enough.

We had both service and a repair done. The owner himself met with us and was a tremendous help in getting our system fixed and working again. We highly recommend Airman and will be having them do all of our annual maintenance in the future. Many thanks to Darrell and Paulette.
Airman's technician Darrell has installed and maintains our HVAC unit and has always been very responsive, on-time, and professional on each visit. Recently, a fan motor failed and was under warranty, however, due to the 2021 supply-chain crunch, replacement parts were not available. Darrell provided an alternative part to keep us comfortable until the factory replacement arrived. Paulette, the scheduler, is also a pleasure to deal with, very professional and helpful by providing up to the minute details on the technicians arrival times. Overall a great service provider.
When we purchased our condo in Florida in 2019, Airman had already recently installed a new A/C unit. So we had to switch the warranty with the manufacturer over to us, and Airman was so very helpful as the middleman with that whole process. Then, when we needed a repair which was covered by warranty, Darrel was on top of it. Even though the part couldn't be shipped for several weeks, he made sure we had a replacement part to hold us over. Airman also does our scheduled maintenance, and they will NOT try to sell you things you don't really need! They're very attentive and they respond when they say they will. We can't say enough good things about them, especially in this day and age when most companies can't even bother to call you back. You will not regret hiring Airman for your A/C needs!
