Guys did a great job. Upgraded my system by installing a drip pan that didn’t exist before. Super quiet and efficient. I grew up with three friends that are a/c guys up in NY, so I know a little bit about HVAC. Kane explained exactly what they were going to do. Five stars, super professional.
Would not even give him one star... Kane from Coastline AC was recommended to me by my boss about 4 years ago. He installed a brand new complete system, seemed like a nice enough guy until... About two weeks after the instal the unit stop working and he needed to come back. Apparently the breaker on the air handler in the attic had blown and needed to be replaced, he originally told my fiance on the phone that was more than likely the issue and that he could go to Home Depot and get one to do it himself. We told him that was not going to happen and that he had to come and do it as it gave us a one year warranty. He reluctantly did come and do the repair. But told while he was at our house that we needed to move out attic access or he would not come back again for any serve calls. He had an issue of the placement of the attic access placement, it's a 12x16 opening in a closet which he knew when he took the job but proceed to tell me we needed to move the access to the living room. I told him that was not going to happen as I was not going to have an eyesore in the middle of my ceiling. Then a couple of months later it was winter and the temperature dropped so we thought it would be perfect time to test the heat. Sadly to say it did not work, checked the information on the unit and this particular unit is one that has a heater. (not all of them do) So I called Kane up again to have him come out to fix the problem, first question he asked was if I moved the access yet and I said no so he said he would not come. Then tried to say it was probably the faulty wiring in my house. Really!!! I threaten to take action against him and he became very belligerent and combative. I eventually let it go and chalked it up to making a bad decision to go with him in the first place. Fast forward to today, our AC stopped working and we thought that it may be the breaker again or the capacitor outside after checking to the best of our ability we arrived at a dead end.
