I have tried to contact the local branch 7 times. Each time I was told someone would get back to me. The answering service claims they forwarded my message as well as I sent direct email with no response. Poor customer service.
Stay away. This company is a straight up disaster. Called them, scheduled an appointment for 6/19/23. Told they would be there between 4-7. Then get a call telling me it's raining in Miami so we can go on roofs, Meanwhile I'm in Delray with no rain. Told it was rescheduled to 8am on 6/20/23. 8 am comes and goes, I call and informed running late should be there at 10am and dispatch will call me. No call from dispatch, call at 10:30 then get told. Oh we don't do work up there. This companies customer service is like a straight up train wreck. If they don't know where they service I can just imagine the skill of repair and installation they posses. Good luck to all that use them.
Horrible customer service. I called to get an emergency appointment because my a/c shut off. They stated they no longer service lake worth so their vero office will take over our account. at 4:50 the vero office called us to say they don’t service our area. it’s now almost 5 pm and i’m stuck scrambling to find a different company because this company doesn’t know what they are doing and what areas they cover. A supervisor wouldn’t speak to me and try to problem solve the situation. It was just an oh well sorry!
Horrible customer service. I called to get an emergency appointment because my a/c shut off. They immediately gave me a call window of 7pm to 8pm. Hours go by with constant calls to the line where they tell me my tech will be with me after he is finished with his current job. 11:30 PM rolls around no call no show. I have an infant baby and was not provided the service to attempt to come fix my air instead told they would be there while no one even called to say they were running late or couldn’t come.
Awful. Stole money. Then they ended up stealing more money from me because they sold their company. The new company stated they didn't service my area since they don't service my area. Now I have to sit there and realize they're never going to come back. Oh and by the way I found this out after my air conditioning needed to get service and I didn't have air for 3 days. Awful company
BUYER BEWARE!! This company is absolute trash. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM OR ASPEN AIR!! We have a maintenance package with Aspen who is owned by ARS and routinely service our a/c. Last fall one of their service technicians came to our house and cut the high pressure cut off switch on our system. No one at the company could tell us why. We asked that it be replaced even if we had to pay for it and were denied many times despite making several calls to management and having 5+ different techs out to look at what had been done. Now our system which would still be under warranty if we were the original owners has failed. They sent a sales rep (Steve Todd) out to quote a new system and when we told him about the ongoing situation he said the company was definitely at fault. That “cutting the switch is why the pressure got too high causing the coils to crack and leak coolant”. That “cutting the switch could have caused the system to explode”. He assured us the company would make things right - that we shouldn’t have to pay for new system (which they quoted us 14k for - thieves) since this is a problem they created. Steve lied to us - he left here after promising to make it right - knowing his company put our family in danger and the next day the company blocked our number. This company has NO MORALS. They are overpriced CHEATS with awful customer services who will put your family at risk and then abandon you.
I contracted Aspen through Home Depot. I have a permit that hasn't been closed out from 2020. I thought it was done as the inspector came back several times to make Aspen correct their work. I've called and emailed only to be told they no longer service the area. The only reason I became aware of the permit is because my AC unit doesn't work anymore and I had another company come and try and diagnose it. They said the work that Aspen did was so poor they couldn't do anything and we need a new unit. So we are sitting in a house at almost 100 degrees trying to get someone to call us back.
I Called on 7/7/22 for an appointment and received an appointment for 7/8/22 from 8am to 12pm. 7/8/22 they call in the morning to confirm and I confirm. They called in the afternoon to confirm and changed the time to 2pm and I confirm. They show up unprepared and reschedule me for 7/9/22. It’s the summer time and I have 3 kids at home. This is so unexceptionable.
Words cannot describe the hatred i have for this company. I paid SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for a new ac unit installed leas than two years ago. The problems have been ENDLESS. Quite literally the say after installation my garage was ice cold, the ac was leaking air into the garage, when someone came to fix it they let me know my installers were on their first day on the job and did a bad installation that would cause me several problems in the future. Every few months my ac randomly stops working, this can last for hours or can last for days, luck of the draw. They guaranteed me someone would always be available to come and fix our issue that’s hilarious! Everytime i call they never show up! Randomly my ac will start working again most times but this last time it didnt. And when i called this trash of a company to have someone come out guess what they said? They no longer service my area. What a joke!!! So here i am, out seven thousand dollars, for an ac that doesnt work, 8 month’s pregnant in a blazing hot home and im on my own. This company is a disgusting disgrace of a company that should he ASHAMED of themselves for the way they conduct business. Absolutely repulsive.
Update*** Permit was renewed and all is well again. I believe the new company who is managing now will be more compliant. Thank you so much for being attentive and understanding out situation. It cannot be easy correcting others mistakes. Unfortunately, this company did NOT file our permits correctly and we are not able to get a hold of anyone to resolve this issue. Our invoice has been paid over a year ago and no one has contacted us since we have been calling for over a week.
Sold me a new unit inside and out 6 years ago and have been having problems ever since!! Froze up last week and the technician Sergio tried telling me I should get a whole new unit which he said isn’t under warranty which it is.and without checking the air handler for the leak Got 2nd opinion from another company who spent 2 hours and said they can’t find a leak? Which could mean it could be in the line but a new system wouldn’t fix it ?
I called and made an appointment. Got off from work and waited patiently for the technician. Finally, I decided to call only to be told the technician is going to call me. He did call only to tell me he wasn't coming and I needed to reschedule my appointment. I missed work for BS. He could have called earlier and I could have gone in to make more hours. It had me FUMING! Now, I am wondering if I make an appointment is he going to show up?
They never closed out the permit and that was Dec 2020. So now I'm getting violations from the city. We've called three times and they say that they will take care of it. A year and a half later. They are awful. Their technician doesn't even know how to operate the thermostat. Don't use this company
Company installed a complete new system, not half, a full ground up installation. The unit failed within two years and would not warranty their work. I suspect untrained installers performed the job. Company is unprofessional and preys on the elderly. Beware seek service elsewhere. Find real installers who are authorized to do the job.
Worst company I have ever used. The installation was so poorly done they had to install a whole new unit to pass inspection. They never, ever return phone calls. Not once. Was promised large reduction in electric bills. After over $11,000 no difference in bill at all. Do not use this company.
Jason claimed to have served 6yrs in the US Navy but couldn’t comprehend the difference between retired military and a military veteran. He insisted that I was retired military. After multiple opportunities to clarify, it was obvious that Jason had no understanding of what it means to be. U.S. Military Veteran even though he supposedly served 6 yrs in the same military branch where I served with Valor and Honor for 8 yrs. Do not claim to be something you clearly are not just to get a sale.
Worse company ever. Just to get an estimate for a simple change out was a headache when I clearly explained to the dispatcher they wouldn’t need to turn off the water of the whole building. She said, our company doesn’t work like that. They told me they would call me back and I waited over an hour for a call back and they never did. However, I did called them again and I was told they would call me me back and again no one ver called me. Very frustrating.
Worst company in South Florida. I bought an AC unit through them back in 2017, just because they were the Home Depot contractor at that time and I needed to use my HD credit card. 6 months after installing the unit, it broke, it was something wrong with the thermostat. They came back and fixed, and apologized that it was a labor problem. Almost 6 months after that (1 year from installation date) the unit broke, and until now it is giving me a hard time. 3 years now since I had this unit and I am asked to change it. First, I had Aspen come and fix the issue. No one could figure out the problem. They said it is a refrigerant leak. But no one could find where. One technician after the other, and evey time I have to pay. Paid them almost $750 to find the leak, and yet still couldn’t find it. They sent me their lead technician, who told me that the unit was poorly installed. And you hear the stories from one technician to the other about the owners and the management team, which I don’t care, I need a working unit. I sent an offical complain, and got a vey nice lady reaching out to me. She sent me another technician who changed something and told me thats it, that was the cause of the leak. 7 months after that, unit leaked again. Today, November 2021, the unit is still broken and needs refrigerant almost every 4 months. The company doesn’t care. And whenever I call them they always say that when I bought the unit the owners were different. Worst experience I have ever had with a company. Please if you are reading this, stay away from this company. I know that Homedepot still uses them, don’t get trapped into that. Most AC companies offer the same financing options. I had several issues with their installation and post service. I have been trying to get a manager to call me for months, they refuse to speak to me. My unit is 15 moths old and the air handler continues to leak into the auxiliary pan. Sometimes shutting down. Look for another company ... I wish I did.
Horrible company. Paid $7471.00 in May of 2020 for new AC. Tried to get a service appt, finally got one for 06/01/2021. No show no call, after many attempts person who answered phone said they got backed up on the weekend, was also told by dispatcher Mandel, other customers were given priority. Rescheduled to 06/17/2021, promised that this was a definite appt. Once again no show no call. Tried to contact them, left many messages. No one returned call. They take your money and do not follow up. If you want to be treated poorly use this company. ******** 06/18/2021 Update to my review of 06/17/21. The company has reached out to me. Sent Tech today and completed the service. I am satisfied that the problem has been resolved. 10/21/2021 - Update--Same bad customer service. AC they installed last year and serviced this year stopped working. Called yesterday early morning, all phone numbers go to call center. They said message sent to manager. As of today, (next day) I have not had the courtesy of a call back. Luckily my neighbor had a company that I called. They responded quickly and fixed the problem. Sorry I ever used Aspen. Will never use them again.
