Had an amazing experience Derrel D. The technician came walked me through what was wrong and ways to prevent problems with my unit in the future and was honest on all prices and products they definitely have a lifetime customer thanks.
Most professional and technically proficient is what comes to mind when describing my experience with Max Cool. The technician examined my ac units issue within 10 minutes and was able to order the part via over night by pleading with the manufacturer. They were able to get my unit back up and running at a reasonable temp until the part came the next day. They didn't try to upcharge me like the other 2 companies when they quoted me as they said I needed a multitude of parts. The tech even showed me some valuable maintenance techniques which I didn't know about. Thanks Max Cool for being super awesome and saving the day along with my wallet.
My AC installed Nov 2020. They been out in the last year 3 times. Definitely not professional with customers. No need to complain to supervisor, he is the worst very disrespectful. Absolutely no understanding I paid 6,800 for a system that not work properly. UPDATE: I wanted to update on this review, being its all new management. I wrote the review before the service and of course was hot, however the terrible noise was a frog got stuck between the fan. I mentioned all new management and the customer service approach is professional and honest. I had a conversation with Johnathan which took the time to research past and present. I jumped the gun. Tech Danny detailed some of the small animals that will get stuck during this summer season and went on with a regular maintenance just to make me happy. My apologies for the original review, I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
I had a A/c compressor leak and was told it could be fixed by one of the technicians. After a 8 day wait with no air, they sent another technician out and found out they could not repair it needed to be replaced. I said this from day 1. Customer service has been poor and inconsistent. I was told i needed my blower wheel clean “so clean you could eat off of it” before they fix the issue and the evaporator coil cleaned. It’s been 2 weeks with two separate contractors who have cleaned the wheel and now the gentleman I’ve been working with isn’t in despite telling me to follow up on Saturday. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND RUN! Reporting to BBB as we speak. Apparently normal wear and tear of a blower wheel is ok and this may be fraud.
This place is a joke. Guy came out twice two days in a row. Ac stopped working 1 hr after he left the first day & we called next morning to have someone come out again. They went same guy. He was at our house a total of 6 min between both visits mind you. He proceeded to tell us we need to go out back with a shop vac to clean the lines ourselves as part of “monthly maintenance as owners”of the house & that he’ll do what he can but it’ll happen again and again because the pipes under this house are so old and clogged. NEVER in all our years of dealing w ac issues has someone ever told us this. Other companies come out, fix the issue and we’re good to go. What a joke our world has become & no one wants to work.
Derrell was the best air conditioner man I have ever meet in my life. Please give him a 7 million dollar raise because he is the best
I’m so happy with the service. I was originally matched thru my insurance with another company but I had to wait 10 days for service. I immediately looked for another company and got matched with Max Cool. They had availability for the very next day. Alejandro showed up promptly and was very communicative. He worked quickly and efficiently in this Florida heat (bless his soul). He’s def a star employee. If I ever have AC issues, I will make sure to request Max Cool and specifically, Alejandro. He is extremely knowledgeable and proficient in his work. You can tell he really cares, which is rare nowadays. He was polite & respectful of our home. Alejandro did a phenomenal job. Thank you so much! 5/15/23 once again, we used max cool air. They were wonderful and replaced our thermostat. Prompt and professional, Mark, I believe was his name, got our ac running in less than two hours. We had multiple issues. I will request max cool air again next time I need help with my ac.
This was my first time using this company and I must say I was very impressed with the professionalism and work they provided. I needed maintenance on my HVAC system on short notice and they really came through for me, when all the other companies was giving me a 2 month window. My service guy Tony G. was great and efficient and I really appreciated the time he took to answer any questions I had. I definitely recommend using this company for your HVAC needs. 5 Stars for Max
These guys were sent out by our warranty company. They did a good job and sold us a protection plan. Everything was going well. I had no issue with the service and was planning on renewing. We were informed that they decided not to service our area any longer in mid April. They advised that we would not be charged going forward. We were told that they would come out and perform the final service on the plan. This was done and the tech was fantastic. This morning we found we were charged again yesterday. I called and was told, well now we won't charge you again. Guess they really needed that $19. They can have it.
Thank You could never be enough!! Jon, you are a LIFE SAVER by explaining the moister safety switch turning off my thermostat! After spending 2 hrs on a call and being told the wrong information by the support support tech for my Ecobee Smart Thermostat along with shattering the thermostat. If you ever invest in an ecobee as a home owner do NOT mess with the wires and circuit board!!! Jon was able walk me through fixing my drainage safety switch on issue in minutes. And assisted with getting Ecobee to replace my shattered thermostat. Again Jon Thanks is not enough… God Bless!!! Ms. Barron Wright
Was very satisfied with Max Air Cooling. They were responsive. professional, polite and even faster than expected. After having multiple bad experiences with a different AC contractor in the area we couldn’t be happier.
I highly recommend this professional company they are honest, knowledgeable with years of experience, able to take care of everything in 1 day, great customer service throughout the whole process, they even cleaned everything up thanks for going out of your way, they went miles and hours to pickup my ac to take care of me. Thanks to the office and all the techs
Wow. Darrel is amazing! ...Outstanding. I previously also had Alejandro from MAX COOL AIR and he was great too. I have used other A/C, heating etc companies before, but they were vastly inferior to MAX COOL AIR in terms of service, knowledge, abilities, and more. I will keep using this company over and over again. You won't believe the difference in competence at MAX COOL AIR compared to the competition. They are the best -- and nobody has asked me to post this review either.
We are very pleased with the work that Derrell Downey did. He came in found the problem and fixed it. He was very pleasant and he was on time. We will definitely be requesting him for any further issues we have. Great company!
I have paid twice for this company to come out through our warranty company. The guys they sent don’t know what they’re doing nor can they explain it, one of their ones was hanging out in my yard smoking cigarettes while pretending to be doing his work. Another guy required our system and for what reason idk. We have been having wire error messages come up on our system since then. Our system won’t heat/cool our home. Disappointing. A waste of money and time.
I would like to say that this is my first time using this company and will certainly not be my last. Darrel is the most knowledgeable, professional and kind person I have ever encountered. Not only did he fix my issue but he stayed at my home no matter how long it took to make sure my kids would not be freezing on Christmas. Florida is going to go Down to the 20’s on Christmas and he worked diligently until this issue was resolved for us. I will be signing up for their maintenance program (as the previous companies I had never did this quality of work) I could not be happier and more satisfied. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, honest and kind this is the only way to go! Darrel when I finally hit the lotto know that you are on the list of people who will be blessed thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄
Derrel Downey was very informative about the process of the tune up and servicing my HVAC system. He answered all of the questions and concerns that I had regarding maintaining the HVAC system. I felt very comfortable that he was providing a quality service.
Thank you so much for fixing our a/c. We use a home warranty company and Max Air was selected as our vendor. Darrell was very professional and courteous and listened to us when explaining our issue. He dealt with our home warranty company and had us cool once more as quickly as he could. We are very pleased and would be glad to have Darrell come back out when we need his services again. Max Cool installed a new system for us last year. The installation was flawless and the staff were amazing. We recently had our first preventive maintenance visit. Again, the gentleman who did the work was completely professional and did an amazing job. He even went into an area that was nearly inaccessible to take a picture to reassure me that the internal system was still spotless. WAY above and beyond. Thank you, Max Cool!
This group is really professional! From the lady answering the phones to the technician who was able to move our appointment up by one day. They were sent by our warranty company after the first vendor failed. Our technician was very pleasant and friendly and explained everything he was doing. He was able to pinpoint the problem and fix it immediately. I would strongly recommend this group and would definitely use them again.
