Upul is great--I hired him to install a new heat pump for our house that was on an oil boiler. Not only was he half as expensive as the quote we got from another company, but my wife like the aesthetics of his plan a lot better. We went with him on the install, and he also helped us make sure we got the documentation we needed for the CT rebate, which cut the final cost of the install by about 25%. Additionally, when another contractor we hired spiked the refrigerant pipe for our heat pump several months later, he was quick to come and check things out. He not only fixed the broken pipe without having to damage much of our house, but also helped provide the evidence we needed to get an insurance claim made. We plan to replace our end-of-life oil boiler soon, and I plan to call in Green Mechanicals for the job. Highly recommend.
Paul and his team installed a large air condition system in my home about 4 zones. They did an excellent job. My home is large and old and complicated and I was so pleased with their work. They were efficient, fast and great prices as well. Their guys are very knowledgeable, very mindful about being neat, respectful. They also have worked on my heating system , again very complicated and they resolved issues that other companies could not. We highly recommend Paul and his team from Green Mechanics Heating and Cooling!

I've had one after another incident with heating units since early November. And Green Mechanicals has come through each time. Including an emergency call over a weekend. They come when they say they're going, and do what needs to be done. They're clean, professional, and easy to work with for reasonable $$.
I was so glad I found Green Mechanicals thru a reference. Upul and his team are experts when it comes to Heating and cooling solutions . I needed an urgent replacement of my old oil furnaces which had a broken heat exchanger and was out of commission . After inspection Upul saw many other problems with HVAC . On his recommendation we installed New propane Furnace, new dampers , AC coil along with other fixes . Super happy with my new highly efficient and quiet system. Our house never felt so warm . We had central and and heat installed and we are happy with the service and the quality of the product so far. It’s winter, so I can say our heat is running great. I expect the same will be said for the air in the summer.

So grateful for Green Mechanical. We are recent emigres from San Diego to Stamford, so just getting used to the cold...but we woke up on Saturday with no heat...and it was really cold! Fortunately, we reached out to Green Mechanical, and despite it being the start of a long weekend, they came over that morning. I have an older system, and the pump had died. They were able to reach out to get a replacement - the job was done and heating restored in a couple of hours. Just as important - I don't think they charged weekend rates. I'll be keeping this number handy...

Upul and his crew were above and beyond. Upul was available several times same day within an hour or two as our AC system kept breaking. Finally we replaced it with Bosch heat pump units. Much more efficient and bills are lower. The install was done quickly and neatly. No nonsense. Price was about 4K less than other quotes I got. But most importantly is how Upul stands by his work and addresses any questions or issues very quickly. These are the guys you want for heating AC.
I worked w/ Green Mechanicals in July of 2022 to replace a leaking combi-boiler system. I don't like to write reviews until at least 6months after the job to ensure everything is working properly and I'm happy to write that everything is working exactly as it should, and I'm very happy I went w/ Green Mechanicals. After calling, Upul, the owner, showed up within a few hours, assessed the situation and provided me a detailed plan and reasonable quote. His guys, who were also very professional, showed up the next day and began work. They replaced my boiler in no time (1 day + a few hours the next day to finish up), cleaned everything up and left the space better than they found it. I highly recommend Green Mechanicals for all your HVAC needs. I consider myself lucky having found an HVAC team that I can trust and rely on. Since the summer, I had one other small leak in the system (a part that they didn't install, but was part of the overall system), and they came back recently and fixed that too (all within 24 hours). Upul and his team are professional, diligent and extremely knowledgeable. If you're thinking about getting HVAC work done, definitely call Green Mechanicals ASAP!
Green mechanical is named best in Stamford for a reason. They are professional, reliable, and their service is exceptional. I would use their service again and recommend them to everyone.
I returned home Christmas evening to find that my HVAC unit had stopped working and shut off the thermostat on the coldest night of the year. I chose Green Mechanicals because they have high ratings and are open 24/7. I called a few minutes before midnight and reached Upul, who came first thing the next day. He assessed the issue, found the HVAC was damaged and told me how much the work and parts would cost. The pricing seemed fair, especially during the holidays. Upul intended to fix the fan the same day; however, most stores were closed; therefore, he picked up the parts and installed the new fan at 8 AM the following day. I received a text alert and a phone call once they were ready and heading over. Installing the new fan and resetting the thermostat took less than half an hour. They successfully tested and aligned the thermostat, left the space clean, and were professional and courteous.
My a/c was not working and was freezing up. They came and $3500 later "repaired" it. A couple weeks later it froze up and stopped working again. I called and they said they did all they could do and that I needed a new system. I called another HVAC company and for $300 they fixed it and I have not had a problem since.

Another fantastic experience with GMH! They installed a Fujitsu single-room unit and it is perfect. Professional, courteous and neat!! Green Mechanicals is exceptional. They have great customer service and promptness. They assessed my AC situation and did all they could to get to the root cause of my problem. They provided all the options from the least expensive to the most cost effective solution given my circumstances. They are very neat workers and were very considerate of our home, leaving it just the way they found it. I highly recommend them.
