Dave and his team were absolutely fantastic. I called, quickly got an appointment and a competitive quote for ductless unit installation. Once accepted I got a very quick install date and the guys were fantastic. They protected the inside of the house and had excellent cleaning practices, they left the house spotless. The install was quick and efficient and the team really cared about my opinion on location, look, and how that would effect performance. The jobsite was kept clean as well and they made sure we were comfortable with end product before leaving. The equipment they installed is excellent quality and Dave really cared about making sure that everything was right for the configuration of the house. I would definitely recommend them.

Our furnace broke a couple of weeks ago on a very cold day and after calling several companies, Climate Care was the only one that came out the same day. David was the gentleman that came to the house, gave us an affordable quote, spent time answering all our questions and was genuinely concerned given we have an infant daughter in the house and the heater was installed and working perfectly the very next day! This company is professional, reliable, affordable, and caring, just to name a few! Thank you for taking care of us!

I gave a deposit and Dave took it and did not provide service. I sued him in Stamford Supreme court and won return of the deposit. He still not paying back. I am going back to court extremely not professional Part II Hired Marshal, marshal get back without money, going after CT DCP Gen Part III Called by number suggested, talk to Megan, she told David will call back. 24 hours later no call. Will update later Part IV Still waiting for the call 3 weeks later, what a scam

Our 20yr old boiler finally started having problem and wouldn’t fire no matter what I tried. On a Sun nite at 8pm the owner of the company (David) came down to the house to try and fix our issue. When you have a really old boiler and it breaks down on a weekend parts are NOT readily available. Bad news is we need a new boiler as this one has a crack. This unit needed a new igniter and a new transformer. David came down several times to keep our heat running while we are working with Climate Care for a new Natural Gas Boiler. I don’t know of any companies that will make sure your broken down old oil burner stays running while you’re waiting for the replacement. He came to the house all after hours which if you’ve ever dealt with a company before it’s always just a tech…..but I got the owner! He even sends texts checking to make sure things are still running and says not to hesitate to call no matter the time if we should have an issue. Climate Care and David will ALWAYS have my business.

DO NOT choose this company. They ask for money, never show up for work, do poor work that doesn't even pass inspection and then they walk off the job without completing it. David is nice on the phone and knows how to talk a good game but when it comes time for performance, nothing gets done. His company has such a high turnover rate that employees reached out to us and told us we should not continue with them. I contracted with David in August 2021 and he was supposed to start work mid September 2021. We confirmed the dates a few days before and then no one shows up. No one from the company responds back despite asking me for a down payment. They finally started the work in January 2022 only to have it fail inspection twice! Then Dave promised to finally send someone to do some work. Confirmed with him again September 20, 2022. Called the day before and confirmed (my inspection for the work was 9/26) and still no one showed up for the entire week. This company is awful so please be careful and really do your research!!

I have used Climate Care twice over the past 4 years. Once for a central air system a few years ago, and recently for a very large and complex full house conversion from electric heat to multi-zone propane heat, central air, and ductless mini-splits. This was a renovation of an older house with many challenges. Dave (the owner) and his team helped me navigate the complexities, they fully designed the ducts and systems, installed everything, ensured it was all working as intended and trained my wife and I to use everything. The process was long, it was frustrating dealing with city inspections and dependencies on plumbers, electricians and carpenters. Dave worked extremely well with all of the trades and was frequently my ‘advisor’ to help answer questions that were frequently not even in his domain. I certainly appreciate his expertise, his calm and professional manner and his good-natured and very-much needed sense of humor. At times there were some minor delays to certain milestones due to supply chain, labor or weather - that has to be expected. In the end Dave managed the bumps in the road and all was finished on time, at budget, and works flawlessly.

Stay away. As others mentioned, they have a habit of taking your money and disappearing. I made a deposit, they promised to come back in two days max to replace a part. A month later, the job still wasn't done and I had to submit a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Update: the story didn't end there. I disputed the charge and got my money back. Nine months later I received a bogus bill from Climate Care for almost $1000 for work they never performed. Moreover, I sold the place several months ago. I filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General of Connecticut for fraudulent charges. Will see what happens. Save yourself major headache and call someone else.

Hot water heater broke at 8:30am. Dave picked up the call & immediately sent someone. I needed a new one. They came back at 1:45pm; the owner came himself with a brand new hot water heater & they finished in an hour, cleaned everything & placed everything back in the closet. They are professional, on time and I will recommend them to everyone I know. It’s very rare to find good, quality business like this.

We hired Climate Care to install a new HVAC system to a apartment attached to our house. The installation was done improperly and the system was inoperable. We were not able to get David to come back to the house but he verbally agreed to pay the 3rd party we had fix the leak in the coolant line and faulty TxV valve. David never returned any calls or made a payment and the amount was over $1,000.

I am an HVAC engineer with over 30 years of experience. I have installed and maintained everything from window units to systems that serve 3 million square foot facilities. I hired this company to install a simple 5ton unit as I'm getting up in age and I can say without reservation that this is the absolute worse company I have EVER dealt with. No professionalism, totally inadequate response to issues. My system was installed over a month ago and still doesn't work correctly and I can't get anyone out to correct the problem. Thay are VERY good at making promises but never EVER keeping them. Save your money, your time and your sanity!
