The team at Nutmeg Mechanical helped us completely update our heating system by not only installing an efficient combi-boiler but also removing all the old equipment (some of which required asbestos remediation). Special thanks to Leo, their incredibly knowledgeable and kind Home Comfort Specialist and Brian and the rest of the technicians that transformed out heating system. We highly recommend the Nutmeg team for any and all HVAC projects!
Replaced 36 year old Carrier brand A/C with a new Carrier brand A/C. Nutmeg sales team, customer service, quality of products, and technician installation services were gold standard!! Would highly recommend Nutmeg Mechanical.
The staff at this company is very professional, as evidenced by the lead man, Shane, and the rest of the crew. Henry was my tech for the day. I called the company at 7:30am after noticing the heat was not working the night prior. They came the Help me in less than an hour. Our tech Henry was patient, professional, caring and knowledgeable. He took his time to assure everything was working properly. A few things had to get replaced but he made sure he understood our budget. I greatly appreciate how diligent he was with the repair.

From sales to installation, our Nutmeg experience has been stellar. Quentin helped us choose the right combination boiler and central air system, then coordinated financing through multiple programs and banks to make our project a reality. The install team was here for two days and they were a great group of professionals. Everyone has been reasonable, accommodating, and courteous. They went above and beyond to help us make this happen--and we are ESPECIALLY grateful for the terrific experience following a month without heat! Nutmeg has earned our trust, and we will use them exclusively from now on.

We are very happy we went with Nutmeg Mechanical for our central a/c system. Chris, the owner, gave a very detailed explanation of the unit and answered all our questions. The installation team was very efficient and professional. They took great care every time they entered the house and put protective runners on the stairs and "booties" on their feet. We highly recommend Nutmeg Mechanical.
James and Don arrived early within 10 minutes identified the problem and within one hour the unit was tested run repaired and working perfect perfectly I highly recommend not mechanical thank you for your service

I called them to get a quote for a ductless mini split system. Stephen Feinstein showed up at my house, we seemed pretty nice. He told me he would get a quote for the project and would send it to my email. After a week I did not hear back so I called him and the office multiple times with no response. After more than 2 weeks total, he called me to tell me that they cannot take the job. Complete waste of time and very disrespectful to not even have the decency to pick up the phone and say they don’t want your business.
Our AC unit in our home stopped working during the hottest part of the summer. We called in the late afternoon, and the phone representative gave us helpful advice on how to troubleshoot on our own, and was able to schedule a technician for the next morning if our solutions didn’t work. Jonathan was punctual and incredibly helpful, and had the part needed on-hand and was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away! I was able to ask a few questions about future maintenance and he gave great advice. Will definitely be using their services in the future!
AC was fading on a brutal day. Called Nutmeg at end of day. Came out early NEXT day. Added refrigerant and dye (for future leak diagnosis). System was back at full speed. Courteous and professional technician. Very pleased.
I can't thank Nutmeg enough for their excellent service. During a recent heatwave, the central A/C unit in my house quit working. It was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. A representative came out the day I called, analyzed what I needed as a replacement, and provided a proposal. The install team came out two days later and replaced both the A/C and furnace. The install team was awesome. By evening, the temperature in the house dropped from 89° into the 70s, a welcome relief.
Nutmeg is one of the most responsive service providers we've ever used. If there's a problem, they're here - same day. Kim, the service contact, is a delight to work with. Extremely professional.

Great company great people great service. Timely response to my failed boiler which was leaking. They did a temp repair to get me through the rest of winter until the new boiler arrived and were kind enough to credit this work to my new boiler cost. New boiler install went flawlessly crew arrived on time and finished the project in a day. They cleaned up before leaving and explained the new boiler and it's features to me. Overall they were upbeat friendly and had nice things to say about nutmeg and how they are treated well which says alot Thank you as well to Quentin in sales he provided a timely and detailed quote and I not once felt pressured into anything. This is now my go to HVAC company
