Efficient
Always on time, polite & professional.
I volunteer at this place so see it from both sides. There is no question about the dedication this completely volunteer run rescue gives to its animals. They keep every single pet until it finds a home or goes out of state to another shelter that can place them. There was one particularly difficult pooch, Maria, who was so hard to place because she was a big dog, an adult, and had some traumatic experiences that made her a loud barker. But the staff worked with her and walked her and got her to trust again and learn to accept love. They kept her safe and loved for a year and a half! When they say they are a no kill shelter they mean it! Maria was finally adopted be her forever home after almost 2 years in the shelter. The people here took great care of her and made sure she was a good mutual fit with her new family.
Staff came to inspect furnace an quickly made two good repairs. Technician explained repairs very well and was extremely helpful and courteous.
Called several contractors to replace older oil furnace and Richs rep gave a great price. Service techs were friendly and very knowledgeable. Install went without a hitch and I was very pleased with the end results. Would recommend again and again.
Their service is outstanding! I’ve used them several times. Our 15 year old tank started leaking last winter and we called them to have someone come over and patch it for a week until they could put a new one in. Then earlier this week we called to have our yearly oil burner cleaned and maintained. Bill, the technician was absolutely awesome. He sat there with me showing everything and how our boiler works and what to look out for since it’s 21 years old. You could tell he loved his job. He’s definitely a valuable employee!
Rude person answered the phone could care less that a professionally marked van was driving very unsafe, following to close ,speeding through Hazardville, also safe to say he or she gets paid by the hour so not sure what the hurry is . I was told it would be " brought " up at the next meeting. I doubt it.
Rich’s Oil customer relations lacks integrity. Office personnel needs to be honest, I was lied to. If you like to spend money and be treated like trash & lied 2 , this place is for you ! I , nor family will no longer do business with Rich’s Oil !
If you want oil check prices all around. If you want service go elsewhere. Found out hard way through my wallet. Called another company and was able to resolve the issue and save money.

I hired Rich's Oil Setvice to install and service my Enfield home boiler for the last 15 years and will now hire them for my Suffield home. Why? Well it comes down to Trust and Reliability. They get Five stars for both.There oil delivery also excels.
UGH! These people are the WORST! Used them for less than a year at multiple properties (we own a few duplexes in the Enfield area) and they could not get it straight! Multiple billing problems that took US hours to help THEM fix, and I don't know where they get their "technicians", but they (literally) caused more problems than they fixed, then tried to charge us to come back and fix them! SCAM! Aside from oil delivery, which a trained monkey could do, everything they handled got F'ed up. DO NOT USE!
Woke up with no heat. Called Richs at 0730 and they were at the house within 2 hours. Excellent service and reasonably priced.
My furnace wouldn't ignite. I called in the morning and a very nice technician showed up couple of hours later and fixed the issue within a half hour. Thank you! Very happy customer who will definitely use your service again in the future.
Rich's handled my furnace conversion a few years ago and my regular servicing before I sold my last house. You can't find a better crew The most important part, they looked out for my safety and explained the options to me. It wasn't about them making a sale or setting up a contract. They talked about the long-term well being of people living in the house, the safety of the equipment, and future concerns I should be aware of as a person that owned a home.
Rich's is a good company
Awesome customer care. If you want a local place to be there for you, this is it. They bring heating oil at a moments notice. Regular burner checks, plumbing, A/C.
Have used them for some years to deliver oil. Very reliable. Have even accommodated me in emergencies. Love the kindness of ladies in the office. Have never just not shown up like some non-local oil companies. Also used for burner service emergencies. All the techs friendly professional and helpful.
