Same day service for oil delivery!!!!! Really good!!
Overpriced and poor customer service.
Terrible company! I had oil delivered and they had the nerve to charge me almost 1.5 times the current cost of oil. From other reviews it seems to be a common practice by them. The average around my area is currently $3.95 but no more than $4.29, price per gallon charged was $5.74. On almost 200 gallons, that's quite a difference. I tried to call them and explain how ridiculous this is and all I was told is that because they're a full service company that is essentially a premium they charge on their deliveries. I also pay a separate fee for a service plan which I thought is what covered most of these extra services but no, they essentially add a ridiculous premium to their oil prices as well. I wanted to cancel immediately but they con me into staying by saying that if I don't continue to get deliveries from them I forfit my service agreement that I paid separately for. They can screw me now but as soon as the heating season ends, I'll be dropping them. BEWARE!
Everything went well during my past few service calls. Technicians were knowledgeable and efficient. No problems.
The last technician was patient to continue troubleshooting until he found the problem. Our boiler has been working perfectly since this last visit. Previous technicians made false assumptions and did not fix the problem.

Excellent experience with Customer Service.
Our furnace was leaking fuel into the combustion chamber as a result of a faulty fuel pump which wasn't completely shutting off the flow of fuel when it wasn't pumping. The service technician was quick to diagnose the problem and fix it on the spot. The leak was significant and at some point may have even caused a fire - kudos to him for getting out quickly and fixing the issue.
You will be overcharged. You have to watch billing. Been waiting for a refund on propane for weeks now. Going to contact better business
Proactive visits insures that my tank is always full. Pricing has been high-but we have that everywhere! The condition of my tank maintains a neat new look.
These crooks just charged me $ 5.75 gallon for oil.! Gauge much? Ripoff been a customer for 25 years. Never again. Calling better business bureau to complain about these bums
Don’t do it. Petro boasts themselves as a family oriented local business - they aren’t. I’ve been a customer for a few years now. The worst thing I ever did was lock into a service agreement. Everything is outside of the scope of work for them and after comparing locally they are on the high end of all of the offered services. There are some exceptional and honest service people who work there but the goal is always to up sell so you receive a lot of conflicting information. Deliveries come fast and furious - until you owe even a slight balance. Do your research before you lock yourself into a contract with them.
Petro home services are responsible and reliable. They are just a phone call away. We were amazed with the quick service when I called because we werent getting any heat. They send a representative the same day to check out boiler and he inspected everything until he found the problem. I highly recommend Petro. They are #1

The installation team that put in my new boiler was great! It was a huge ordeal taking out my old unit and installing the new one, but they managed to do it in one day, and the work area was clean when they finished. Plus the new unit is very quiet and efficient. I highly recommend them.
Petro works to keep their customers. The automatic oil delivery is great and 24/7 service is amazing too. Techs are always polite, knowledgeable, clean, and quick. I've been with them since 1996. They do their best to save me money on my oil bills.
I didn't even get to the service part, becuase the person who answered in customer service was very rude and did not give me a sense of security. She was very cold and lacked sensitivity, care or concern for a new customer.
With my wife in the Medical field and with alternating schedule's, snow removal was not always possible. The Petro driver's were always willing and able to do what was necessary, in order for us to get our delivery.
Petro was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. We had an account for auto delivery created WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION!! Then they delivered gas at almost DOUBLE the going rate. Terrible company. Tank install was delayed due to non-communication, schedule mistakes and eventually the tanks were not installed where we had agreed to. No discount on the poor customer service or incorrect tank install. Oh and the tech made my 76 year old father shovel him a path through 12+ inches of snow because he wouldn't run the line in the snow. Horrible service.
