Very professional. They were the only HVAC techs I could find that understood my system. Fair price.
On cold winter day in Feb or March of 2023, Von the owner came out and did an emergency temporary modification to my malfunctioning gas heating system so I would have heat till he returned with the parts the next day and repaired my heater the correct way. Was very fair in pricing, did excellent work. Adjusted how my blower worked so it would efficiently heat the house and also save me $$ for my heating bill. Didn't gouge me for parts and service and helped us survive what would have been a freezing night in our home without heat. If you want an honest, repairman. I recommend Comfy Cave HVAC.
on March 22nd, 2023 Von and Michael and Karl came to our home and installed a BreezeAir Evaporative Cooler. We love it! Quiet, efficient and a much-appreciate upgrade from the single- speed, metal box cooler we installed 25 years ago. It was Von's recommendation and we took advantage of Comfy Cave's past-client, $500 Spring discount. Past-client...YES, because we've been in our home for 27 years and during that time, Comfy Cave has replaced our water-heater, furnace and now, our Evap. Cooler. We highly recommend Comfy Cave. Everyone they've sent to our home (and my Mom's) has been courteous, honest and a great value. I can't say it any other way...you'll have a great experience when you use Comfy Cave! Owner, Von, has been a great maintenance support person for our boiler system. I have referred at least 6 people to Comfy Cave. His prices are reasonable, and he will troubleshoot and price a repair over replacement when appropriate... unlike the "other guys". Before I found him, I had the company who installed our furnace [9 years prior] come for a repair - they only offered me a $6500 replacement. Von came in and repaired for $1000. The repair held as long as we owned the home [another 5 years]. Thanks Von.
We had an extraordinary experience with comfy cave. And I'm not talking just about how professional they were but also because we had an HVAC issue that was unbelievably difficult to solve. But they were professional and communicative and even though it took much longer than any of us thought it was going to they stuck to their original estimate. I think four out of five other HVAC companies would have expected additional compensation for the extra time it took to solve the problem but comfy cave stuck to their estimate. We are very thankful for them and I would have no problem giving them a direct recommendation should anybody choose to contact me
Quality service at a Reasonable price
Von was awesome! I first called him to fix my heater and he was available the very next day! Then my father's heater was struggling and he made it out the same day! Amazing service that was cheaper then the original estimate! I highly recommend this company.
Company goes above and beyond - Von is the real deal. Experts but more importantly they also care about their customers and go the extra mile.
Seriously the best! We've had so much trouble with our furnace not being the right fit for our old house but cant afford to replace the whole thing. Called Comfy Cave and Tracy came out and was so helpful, prompt and kind. Our house has been staying at the set temp and warm even on these freezing cold nights. Our furnace hasn't worked this well since we moved in. Thank you!!
I started using Comfycave 2 years ago! They replaced the thermostat and serviced my heatingsystem and did a great job! They are reasonable and timely and I am glad I called them.
We've used Comfy Cave several times for repair and improvements to our original 1909 boiler system. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are professional, friendly, very knowledgable and sharp, and honest. With our old system, you never know what you're going to find when you open things up and start tinkering and they've always been good at problem solving and adapting when things don't go as expected. Really just one of the best contractors we use.
Tracy was great! I immediately trusted him on his first visit to assess our very old boiler. I received a few bids for the work needed and we chose Comfy Cave and very glad we did. They installed our new boiler in one day and responded quickly to work out a few minor kinks in the system. We HIGHLY recommend CC!! Thank you Tracy!!

I had a great experience with Comfy Cave and Von specifically. We had to wait a couple weeks for an opening, but they called when they had a cancellation and offered us an earlier appointment- was very impressed by that. Von identified the issue with our AC and fixed it within an hour or two (and was willing to get on the roof of our two story condo), and went the extra mile to provide some extra documentation to my warranty company so I could be reimbursed by them. I would recommend Von and Comfy Cave for any HVAC needs.

Comfy Cave installed a mini split heating/cooling system in our garage / gym. They were amazing! Very professional. System works awesome. Can work out in the middle of the winter and heat of the summer without feeling uncomfortable. Thanks!
We had Comfy Cave come out and install central air in our 1940's house. Their price was very fair, service was great and we don't have any complaints. They even installed a new thermostat for us since our old thermostat didn't work with the new A/C.

Tracy and Michael are my air conditioning heroes! Our AC died after 1 day this year. The first company we tried to get to fix it didn’t even call back within three days. Called comfy cave, and got scheduled immediately. Tracy came out and inspected the system, determined the problem with the existing unit and recommended replacement because fixing the old unit would have cost nearly as much as buying new. It was a wait to get an install date because they were so busy, but the guys got the new unit installed super quickly once our appointment arrived, even installed the new smart thermostat we surprised them with while they were at it. My house is finally cool again, and the new unit is quieter and more efficient. Comfy Cave was substantially less expensive than the other bid I got, and even more importantly, I felt safe having them in my home and I trust their work, which they also warrant for two years. Everyone I dealt with there was super kind and professional, I highly recommend.
