I have been using Coffman & Company for over a decade and they have been the best in every way. Just this morning Cameron Raab replaced a new valve on my studio mini volt furnace. He carefully explained the process and workings of the unit. I recently had new AC and furnace installed by Coffman & Company. The whole process went very smoothly. Zach did a great job with the estimate, explanation, and answered all my questions. Evan and Santiago did a fantastic job on the installation, as did Ryan with the electrical work. From the initial walk through to review the plan to final cleanup, I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I am very satisfied with the final result and recommend Coffman & Company.
We recently had the pleasure of contracting Coffman to install a new HVAC system in our home. After a thorough research of brands of HVAC equipment and local service companies, we decided on Carrier and Coffman. Coffman employees were knowledgeable, professional, cordial, service oriented and responsive. We would encourage anyone needing a new HVAC system or service of an existing system to consuder Coffman.

I think the truest testament to a business is how they show up when things *don’t* go as planned. And, at the end of the day, we all want assurance that the business we choose will have our back if things go wrong. Coffman will forever be one of the best, most honest, and reliable businesses I have had the privilege to work with. We had a new Carrier HVAC system installed by Coffman in July 2022. We had a couple small issues after install that were promptly fixed by Coffman. However, in the fall, when we turned on our heat, we started receiving multiple errors on our thermostat. For several months, Coffman was out at our house every couple weeks troubleshooting, replacing parts, and narrowing down possible root causes. Ultimately, the fix was extremely rare and nuanced but they were persistent and would not stop until they had identified and resolved the problem. They put their best techs and managers on the job and, together with Carrier, they were able to find the solution. I give a huge shoutout and “thank you” to Cliff and Cameron who were so resilient and persistent. This is the type of place that deserves your business. If you use Coffman, you won’t be disappointed. Their service and reliability is unmatched. Even as someone who didn’t have a smooth experience along the way, I can’t recommend them enough and have complete faith and trust in their team.

The techs who installed my new HVAC System were very professional. They arrived on time and had the job completed in less than 7 hours. Their workmanship was done well and they cleaned up after they were done.

Coffman was the right choice when it came to completely reconfiguring my current HVAC system and installing a new one! I got estimates from 10 different companies in Denver and I couldn’t be happier that I went with Coffman. Jake was my first estimate and answered all of my questions, as at that point I wasn’t certain what to do about fixing my current system. He gave me several options from repairing my current system to help save money to the full overhaul that I ended up doing. The other companies were mostly just trying to sell me as half of them didn’t even look at my current system and just said I needed a whole new one! Once I decided to use them, Jake and the crew (Eric, Evan, and Zach, plus many more) that showed up to do the work every day were always friendly, answered any questions I had, allowed me to have input if it would affect the aesthetic of my home, and cleaned up before they left every day. Jake or Eric would meet with me before they left for the day to recap what they did that day, what their plans were for the next, and gave me an idea of timing. They offered a fair price (the best of all 10 estimates I received), their people knew what they were doing, and their work was top notch. I couldn’t have had a better experience! Highly recommend!
12/18/22 New install 2 days ago. There had been many issues over past 7.5 months. Now - new furnace, coils, humidifier. John improved the return ducts, increased grill size, reduced the noise level. The furnace originally installed may have been wrong model furnace for my home & my preferences, it was very poorly installed (about 10 subsequent service visits), and the furnace turned out to be defective. I have to give Coffman credit. Anyone can have a bad employee, or install a furnace that has defects. I had to be quite persistent, but they stood by their commitment to the customer and made it right. However, I have found some issues with the new install. Frustrating. Hopefully some more "adjustments" by Coffman will get the review to 4 stars. 1/7/23 subsequent adjustment helped. 12/14/22 After additional communication with Traci, just had co-gm John here at my house to evaluate the situation. He found the gas leak ! Agreed that some other things were not great. We agreed on a plan going forward. I didn't get everything I would have liked, but it is a reasonable plan. John says Coffman will pro-actively work with other folks that had installs by the fired guy that did such a bad job. 12/10/22 Jake & another tech did some fixes 12/8 and 12/9. What about future problems when I am no longer on warranty ? I consider this to be an insufficient response to me, and to other customers with same bad installer (they may be unaware of significant problems). Will contact Traci again. 12/7/22 update. 3 days since my last update. This afternoon I called Xcel. They shut down my system due to serious issues (gas leak, and flue problem, etc). Coffman repair guy was here tonight. Great guy (Eric). Got system to the point where it can run tonight, but he found several other serious problems with the install, and verified my concerns about several other issues. I feel like over the past few months my concerns have gotten "gaslighted" (no pun intende
We have used Coffman for many years. They have always been both professional and courteous. We just had them replace the AC unit at our house (which they installed well over 20 years ago). And the folks who did the work today did a great job too. We can only hope the new unit holds up as well as the old one. Thank you!

These guys did a wonderful job. We had Coffman and company remove our boiler system and swamp cooler and install all new duct work, and an HVAC system. Many other HVAC companies declined our project as they said our project was too complicated as we are renovating a large older home. However, Coffman and company gave us a reasonable quote and we’re able to install all the duct work and HVAC system in 4 days! Nothing is too complicated for these guys! They also showed up on time everyday and gave us daily updates on the progress. Our house is so much warmer now and I love that I can control the thermostat from my phone. Coffman has always been wonderful! After a few bad experiences with other companies, we found Coffman and never left. John worked on our furnace this time and he was professional, kind and adept at his job. Thank you, Coffman!

In short: For the first time, our 100 year old house has consistent and comfortable heating and cooling that is also energy efficient. Would recommend John M and Jake to anyone who has a challenging HVAC situation. Longer: As we were bidding out the job, one person recommended that we just sell the place because the work would be too hard. To be fair, they weren’t wrong. The house was built 100 years ago and about 80 years ago a bedroom was added onto the back of the house with just a crawlspace below it and then 15 years ago the basement was finished and the furnace was moved to the attic. As you can imagine there was a lot to consider in this job, from the current furnace not being large enough to heat the house, the ducts too small and in the wrong places, and no air conditioning of any kind. Oh! Plus a basement that could not get much heat to it from two floors up. John and Jake came in and came up with a wild approach that involved treating the main floor and the basement almost as separate jobs in order to get the consistent temperature we sought. For the main floor the brought in a heat pump that does the heating and cooling for most of the year, and runs off our solar panels. Then a furnace as back up for the really cold days. They replaced all the duct work, added and moved vents and even had to cut access to the additional bedroom because of he attic above had not access at all. For the basement they brought in a boiler and ran pipes around the basement, plus three thermostats to make sure the entire space was comfortable. They also replaced the water heater because at this point, why not. They did all this while taking care not to cut unnecessary holes in walls and did a great job cleaning up after! If anyone is seeking a thorough, professional, and quality change in your HVAC, I cannot recommend Coffman and Company enough!
Coffman an company recently installed a new furnace for us. Replaced a furnace that another company installed 5 yrs ago. We were ripped off by that company that installed a furnace that was inadequate for our needs and eventually broke down. From start to finish, this company was amazing. John the estimator knew exactly what we needed and proposed a much better one at a good price. The installers were knowledgeable, competent, polite and efficient. After having many contractors at our home, it was refreshing to have one that performed as promised. We love our new furnace and the experience we had with Coffman & Co. I would not hesitate to recommend them and use their services in the future.
