Technician was very polite, friendly and efficient.
Mike’s crew did a very good job replacing our old unit on the roof. Mike also did a good job finding us the unit size that is needed for our place. We are very happy with the entire process. Mike at First Choice has been servicing my A/C for many years and unfortunately over a month ago my unit 23 years old finally went out. I then call Mike to come to give me an estimate to have it replaced and I truly believe that he gave me a very fair price. He just installed the new unit about two weeks ago and I am enjoying it a lot because it is much quieter and obviously much more efficient that will save a lot of money in electricity. First Choice did a great job installing it with their two technicians who were very professional and did an excellent job. I am very happy and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
We were referred to Mike from First Choice by family. He actually lives close to them. He's helped my parents and brother in law several times. He was straight forward and honest and gave us a competitve price. We had them install a new AC system. I'm usually skeptical when working with AC companies, this felt like a win all around. I highly recommend First Choice and they will continue to be our first choice moving forward! 10/10
Poor quality product - central ac unit, overpriced,. When called for service while the unit is still under warranty, tried to charge ~$ 2000 to detect Freon leak. Rip off company, with a deceiving name - “First Choice”. Should not even be the “Last Choice” Poor workmanship is another problem.
Careful when you are dealing with this company. We called them because we wanted to ensure if they would check the Freon if there was a leakage, since they just put it 4 months ago. After a quick inspection, my AC unit is only having capacitor issue ($15 in Amazon) to replace. They know the house is hot and we are desperate to take any offer. So without any guilt, they asked us to pay $500.
My old AC/Heater unit was about 30 years old and it broke last month. I interviewed 5 companies and received 5 quotes. After comparing the proposals, professionalism, knowledge level, sincerity and price, I selected First Choice Heating & Air. I checked their license online and also confirmed on Lennox's official website that they are Lennox's Premier Dealer. It is a big investment and some contractors would take advantage of the situation. I received other quotes that proposed unnecessary additional construction work or recommended the highest-end units. I'm glad that I found Mike Gerts who understands the consumer's needs and professionally advised on different options with a reasonable plan. The installation was completed within a day on 2/26/2020 with quality workmanship. The crew was professional and pleasant. They used covers to minimize dust and cleaned up afterwards. I had a question after the installation was done; Mike stopped by the next day to double check and addressed my question. It turned out to be a non-issue. Based on my experience, I highly recommend First Choice Heating & Air for any installation or repair needs.

If you are looking for a trustworthy, and high quality air conditioning company, you found the right place! Leo has been servicing our two houses' air conditioning needs for over 8 years. He has also installed a new air conditioning unit for my parents' house. We are all incredibly satisfied with his work product. His team is well trained and highly professional. One time there was an issue with a product malfunction. He came back promptly and fixed the issue at no charge. His pricing are highly competitive. He clearly deserves five stars.

I am a Resident Manger for a building in Mar Vista California. First Choice Air conditioning and heating recently replaced two apartment furnaces in our building. They did a truly excellent job. The workmen were courteous, paid attention to detail and made sure they cleaned any areas that were affected by their work. I am very grateful for their professionalism and excellent work ethic.I know that we are going to need and use their services again.
IN FEW WORDS THEY ARE NOT HONEST COMPANY, I ask the guy to take a pictures of the Unit AC/Heater and he show me picture of website nothing of what my unit is look like. He Suggested to have to replaced the whole unit because if I repaired it its not going to last long maybe a year . Michael Gerts is not really good and honest to do the right job. He wants me to replaced the whole Unit at so expensive price.!! so I decided to get a second opinion which the estimate was more accurate and bright to know my unit is 100% good that I need Freon and he can add it at a reasonable price. He also asked me if someone else has come to checked it because they pulled some cables out and disconnected so he has figure out how to connected everything back to normal. UNBELIEABLE Of course I won't used them at all !! I am glad that there is honest people to help others !!
Charged $69.00 to do nothing
The Air Conditioning installed by this company almost eight years ago is going strong. We are continually replacing filters and that about it. Leo, the manager is knowlegable and responsive to all our needs. We would highly recommend them for all the cooling and heating needs.
The Rheem HVAC system installed by Leo back in 2012 continues to perform well after five years of use. They were very competitive on price, the installation experience was great, and the upgrade to a higher-efficiency system has resulted in considerably lower electricity bills. They receive my highest recommendations.
