I called Perfect Climate Air, Inc. because I was having problems with my AC. Ken responded to repair my AC unit. He was on time and was very professional. He was very detailed explaining what the problem was. I highly recommend his company and would definitely call him again for any of my AC or heating problems.
Ken never ceases to surprise me. He was able to save me thousands of dollars by isolating a problem with my compressor and replacing a part in it. Thanks so much!
Perfect Climate Air is the #1 AC company in the Santa Clarita valley in my opinion. The owner and his son (Ken & Ken Jr.) installed my AC units and I am extremely pleased with the work they did from start to finish! Making an AC purchase is a very tough decision. It’s not only a costly one, but you want to make sure you’re getting the right system that you hope to have for many years. I personally spoke to 5 different AC companies and ended up choosing Perfect Climate Air simply because of Ken and his honesty, his willingness to answer all of my questions, and his professionalism. Excellent!!! I wish I could give Perfect Climate 6 Stars instead of just 5. They definitely live up the word "Perfect" within their company name. I have dealt with many HVAC&R contractors over the last 40 years both for my residences and our company properties. Their owner, Ken, and his company has out shined and outperformed every other contractor. Ken is a rare owner/contractor who has pride in his work. Ken also has integrity that he recommends what is actually best for his client while giving a fair competitive prices ... versus pushing higher price units or padding his prices. He is not only knowledgeable but fully explains in plain English the recommended equipment and services. In one day, they removed the old equipment and installed the outside AC unit, the inside Furnace and the communicating control/thermostat ... all without any delays or problems. Ever since we have enjoyed a quiet unit that keeps our home cool at the temperature we set even during the heat waves. I highly recommend Ken and Perfect Climate Air.
Father and son owned business. These guys are awesome! They were quick to diagnose and replace my faulty condenser. They laid out my options and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. They were nothing but professional a d easy to work with. I look forward to using them in the future.
HONEST! PROFESSIONAL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ken and his team came highly recommended. My heating and AC system was old and, of course, broke during the 100+ temps. Ken was quick to respond and VERY HONEST, which is hard to find nowadays. He didn’t try to up sell. He and his crew were able to install a brand new system very quickly. On time, responsive and they took all the safety precautions necessary during this pandemic. Very fair prices for the excellent work they did. I will never use another service provider.
Called Ken when our AC died in the midst of a heat wave. They booked us for the next morning and were prompt. He was thorough and careful in his evaluation and unhurried in his explanation of the problem. He gave me options and prices both to fix and replace our unit. There was no pressure, just helpful information. We decided to replace our unit and they quickly had the new one up and running. Ken took really good care of us, did great work, and was honest and transparent. Will happily call them again for any future needs.
Ken is truly the best of the best. When I first met him, he was working for a large company and he spent so much time with me as we went through the education process - purchasing a whole new HVAC system is a big commitment, so I had lots of questions! I was so happy with our purchase (new HVAC, added ducts and vents, smart thermostat - the works!). Fast forward 6 years and the fan on our air conditioner stopped running - I knew I had to find Ken! I found his name on our old contract and did some Googling. I was so happy to see that he started his own business! I reached out last Sunday, he squeezed us in for Monday afternoon, and he saved the day by fixing our capacitor in 15 minutes. He knows the ins and outs of everything HVAC and he gives his honest opinion. I would never even think about working with anyone else. Thanks for the awesome work, Ken!
I highly recommend Ken Shipman (the owner of Perfect Climate Air) for any air-conditioning work since he’s a sincere, knowledgeable, and trustworthy person with professionalism. I had an ancient HVAC system (30+ years old) and wanted to replace it with a new system. So I was looking around to find an HVAC contractor that I can trust. I searched for many contractors online, read through many reviews and narrowed them down to a couple, and got the quotes. The Perfect Climate Air was one of them (I felt I got fortunate to find Ken with my search in hindsight ). When I called Ken, he kindly explained everything to me (I had no idea about the air conditioning system before the call even though I am an engineer myself). I was very impressed with his knowledge of the overall HVAC system and his manner and honesty. Regarding the cost, he proposed the contract with the price that he thinks is the best, eliminating any need to make deals back and forth. After getting the quote from others, I realized that his proposal was not only very competitive in pricing but also didn’t include any kind of unnecessary upsells (i.e., ductwork). The other contractors immediately suggested the ductwork, but Ken wanted to install the new system first and assess for any extra work with the new system after inspecting the ductwork condition. And he turned out to be right. After installing the new system, we got enough airflow on the second floor eliminating the need for ductwork changes (We saved about $3,500 right there with this). He didn’t push for anything in the process but gave me all the necessary information to decide. His work was professional from the beginning to the end. The outcome was so good that I couldn’t help but come and write this review. You don’t need to search around others for any air-conditioning need. Just talk to Ken, and he’s very trust-worthy. I’m glad that I chose his company to do my HVAC system project. Great job, Ken! Thank you for your professionalism!
I needed a local HVAC company to address some issues with my relatively new home and was happy to find Perfect Climate Air. They were able to diagnose the issue with the furnace, obtain the warranty parts from the manufacturer, and install them quickly. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Wow!! What else can I say? Yesterday, the outside fan on my A/C quit spinning on a 100° day. I called after hours and spoke to Ken. He said he could come the next day after a job he was scheduled for. He said he’d bring the parts and he was pretty sure what was wrong. Sure enough, he was just here at 4:30 and by 4:45 he had diagnosed the problem and installed the new part. In the middle of a heatwave... in summer... in SCV. To say that I’m impressed is an understatement. Ken is a consummate professional, from his company logo attire to the thorough handwritten receipt. After dealing for years with other local HVAC guys who were grumpy and negative it was a sincere pleasure to meet such a positive and genuinely optimistic businessman. His office staff is top notch and matches his professionalism. I feel like I’ve won the HVAC lottery. Thanks Ken!

Highly recommend, if I could give 10 stars I would. Ken and Kenny...(The Kenny's) are both very professional. I talked to a lot of contractors and had tons of questions...Ken took the time and answered all of them...not one time did I EVER feel that he was trying to rush me to get off the phone or feel like I was talking to a high pressure salesman. I had a twenty+ year old Lennox system for my 4bd home that was having problems. I knew it was time to replace it. I contacted at least five different companies to hear what they had to say and provide a quote. Ken Shipman from Perfect Climate Air was by far the most honest, trustworthy and the most competitive in the bid. He helped me ask tough questions to the Lennox rep that wanted me to buy a new Lennox. He spent a lot of time educating me about the Trane system his company represents. I felt good about buying an American Trane system and opted for the best system I could afford. Ken helped me with the Hero process so we could get the AC rather quickly. We bundled the Hero program with some pool work and Ken was super helpful and patient through the whole process. Whenever Ken discovered anything of comment on my property he took time to explain everything. I never felt more at ease. I did have some issues with the installation only because I had bought the newest and latest system and it requires some extra attention over a few days from Ken and company. Despite the extra time and adjustments he never charged me extra. There has been times I had questions about the system and he continues to answer and even stops by if warranted. He’s a great guy, hard working and extremely honest. I can’t recommend Perfect Climate Air enough and I will be giving them all my future AC and heating needs.
2017 We had perfect climate air install a new refrigeration unit. Workmanship was outstanding and Ken was very courteous and answered all my questions. Yesterday l heard a buzzing sound coming from the unit. So I called Ken and he came right out. After checking the unit it was working fine and the buzzing noise was coming from the wall. It wasn’t the unit at all. And no charge. Wow I would recommend Ken and his crew every time. O the buzzing was coming from my refrigerator.
Had Perfect Climate Air out to evaluate my dads A/C unit. He needed a new unit and they had super reasonable prices. They were VERY kind, courteous, answered all my fathers questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend to anyone with air conditioning needs.
We had a lovely experience with Ken and his company. He was prompt, beyond informative and just an all around great guy. He did all he promised and more. Great value and our job was taken care of in about 24 hours! He installed our new unit the day after he came out for our consultation! He educated us on our equipment and double checked everything. Ken Shipman is a transparent, hardworking, knowledgeable and involved business owner. Our 11 year old air conditioner was blowing hot air in the peak of summer - big concern with a newborn at home and toddler. Ken personally came out quickly and provided all the information we expected and more. Best of all it was without pressure. We replaced our entire system (27 year old furnace and 11 year old condenser) and couldn’t be happier. Ken showed up the following morning with a brand new system and we had cold air again. I recommend Perfect Climate Inc and Ken to everyone I meet and care about. His approach is a breath of breath air and you won’t be disappointed.
