MD air is honest!!! I was quoted 3 times as much from a competitor (Nexgen)on things that didn’t need to be replaced. This is why it pays to shop around. MD air was on time diagnosed what was wrong ordered the part and had my heater up and running the next day! I’m a customer for life! Thank you.

So bought a house in the fall of 2019 and come to find out the furnace was bad when we went to run the AC the following summer. Had Fidelity Home warranty (what a joke they are) they contracted MD air to come check it out. MD says they need to replace it but 1 part of the furnace is bad and the other is not so warranty Will only cover the bad part but the good part needs to be replaced too because the new part is incompatible with the new part. That's my burden to bear and I have to pay the difference of that of $700ish or something. So basically half of the replacement is covered. Fine. Well AC runs fine then comes the winter. Go to run the heater and it starts to warm them would shut off. It repeated this over and over and would never get the house up to temp. I called MD air and explained to them.the issue but was advised because I initially made this call through Fidelity I would have to call them first for a service call them once they got it would dispatch a tech to me. I explained it's been less than a year according to their warranty and was then advised because I went thru Fidelity it's only 90 days. I follow protocol and call Fidelity, a tech is sent out and they BS me about the issue claiming the filters are dirty etc etc. Not the problems. I call my friend who's an HVAC tech and explain him the symptoms and he says sounds like my ducting is insufficient for the furnace they installed. I tell MD this and low and behold they agree. Now they say unfortunately the ducts aren't covered under their warranty and Fidelity doesn't cover ducting too. Now I understand that, but I had a working heater before and now I don't. Why is that my fault? Both MD and Fidelity refuse to make it right wintout me shelling out thousands of dollars to replace my ducting to make my system work like it used to. Fidelity are crooks but I was hoping a locally owed business would do right by their local customers. I figured out the heating element was getting too hot causing it shut o

MD Air Solutions are scam artists. Avoid them ! Our home warranty company assigned MD Air Solutions to our house. They tried to charge us 4k more then all other estimates to repair our AC. MD Air Solutions claimed it would cost 4,800 to bring the AC up to code/update ducts/update electrical etc. The home warranty only covers the parts, so MD Air Solutions saw an opportunity to overcharge us thinking we would believe we are stuck with them (since the home warranty company assigned them to us.) I knew their quote was BS, and immediately asked the home warranty to send out other companies for other estimates. MD Air Solutions came out to 4k over other companies. Don't let MD Air Solutions take advantage of you. MD Air Solutions does not have leverage over you if your home warranty assigns them to you. Ask for another company to give you an estimate.

Working through home warranty is never easy, once I got the explanation of the process and how it works by the office staff,. I understood that my home warranty can sometimes delay authorizations. Run! MD Air Solutions was chosen by Fidelity National home warranty to service our a/c as the motor burnt out. My experience with the technician was great. He communicated with my husband that the motor needed to be replaced. The technician then left to go bring the needed motor and came back and replaced it. By the way we just recently had the unit serviced by a different company with whom we worked with for over 10 years. We paid them over $500 for same day service rather than waiting for the warranty. That company cleaned the unit and replaced a few parts, one of them was the capacitor, however they told us the motor would probably not last very long so we waited and called the warranty. After the technician left we received a bill for the replacement of the motor which they did, but there is also an additional fee for replacing the capacitor which they DID not. My husband sat through the whole process and the only item replaced was the motor. I emailed MD Air Solutions to dispute the charge and they are adamant the capacitor was replaced too, and they are billing the home warranty and not me. Interestingly enough, the technician gave us the motor to dispose of it but never the capacitor, and he certainly did not walk out of our house with the capacitor either. Samantha Hernandez responded to my inquiry in a very rude way. Not even a hello customer, thank you for reaching out to us, we will review your concerns and advise. Nothing like that at all. I’m trying to call FNHW but their wait times are super long. 😔🤷🏽‍♀️
