Had my air and heater replaced after I bought my house 21 years ago because it was in efficient. Family Air is the only company to use in Simi Valley. Jerry is a guy that won't rip you off and has superior knowledge about what's best for your house. Very good price,very reasonable. And Eric and Curtis did a superb on install. I Highly recommend these guys. They have it right. Give them an estimate,you will go with them, great company. Very pleased with Family Air. Great company. No rip offs. And there installer's are top notch. Great job u guys !!!!!!!

Jerry was amazing from our first discussion about my HVAC new system to his guys coming out to provide a technical assessment to Jerry providing a very fair quote to earn my business. I went with Family Air for a few reasons - - Jerry was very honest and straight forward in his approach, his technicians are very knowledgeable and honest and lastly, he provided a very fair quote that addressed all my needs. I will forever recommend Jerry/Family Air to friends and family. On the day of installation, his 2 guys (forgot their names) were extremely professional and courteous. As expected, the installation was successful and my Heating/AC needs are resolved. Hands down, the best experience possible. We picked Family Air to install air conditioning in our home last October 2019. The owner Jerry came over and taked with us about what we wanted. He was very professional and friendly, he assured us they would do a great job at a fair price. We were so happy with the price & the work, we had Family Air install a new unit in our rental unit as well. We highly recommend Family Air for your heating & air conditioning needs.

We have the original builder grade AC/Furnace units that were installed with the home 20 years ago. These have struggled over the past 2 years to keep up with the summer heat and our AC bills have been quite high due to the loss of efficiency. Nonetheless we have kept these units operational. During routine seasonal maintenance on our 2 original AC units last month, we discovered a catastrophic issue with our upstairs AC and confirmed significant loss of function with the downstairs AC. Not naming names, but we had both of the bigger HVAC service providers come to troubleshoot and diagnose the issues, both indicating it was time for replacement. I felt the potential hole in my pocket thinking about a full replacement of both units (including furnaces which were functional but mismatched to any appropriate AC equipment being offered today). We had both of the big service providers in Thousand Oaks draw up estimates for solid Trane equipment and both providers were in the $20K range! Thanks to the kind recommendations on NextDoor, I called Jerry at Family Air in Simi Valley. Jerry was so easy and straight forward to deal with. His approach to putting together a bid was completely different from the others. He didn't want to talk budget at all, he just wanted to assess the house and determine the best equipment for the job. He came by, looked at the set-up, did his calculations and sent me a very professional and detailed bid. The price for a BETTER set-up than I was previously offered was HALF of what the other guys offered. I didn't even discuss price with Jerry, his bid was the best outcome we could hope for. Did he cut corners to arrive at this price? NO. Just the opposite. The install he bid was permitted, inspected, and certified as compliant with current efficiency standards (called HERS testing) and included really nice equipment add-ons like high grade filtration and UV sanitizer. We needed to have our 36 year old furnace system replaced. Jerry had his team to show up very next day. He gave us the best quote of all the vendors. I compared several companies to install our central air. We had some serious electrical issues that needed to be addressed, and a few extra bathrooms vents that complicated our requests for work done. Family Air was quick to respond, looked at our house, and presented us with details of every step of the process. Jerry and the install crew was courteous, professional, and timely. I have no reservations with the service they provided and would happily recommend them!
We had a few bids from different companies to replace/install a new air conditioning & furnace unit in our home. Family Air was very reasonable in price and honest. They gave us different price options on the units so we could choose what was good for us. Jerry and his staff installed new A/C system with new ducts. Can’t say enough at how happy we are! Jerry was very friendly and professional and his installers were very competent. We had several other companies come before and giver their estimates. We did not feel comfortable with the others. Luckily I did a quick search online and came across Family Air. Very fortunate. Their price was so incredible their workmanship and equipment (Carrier) is great! Thank you Family Air!

Jerry and his team recently installed our new central AC system. We had gotten quotes from Family Air as well as from 2 other very highly rated AC installation companies. Family Air was the least expensive of the three. Another thing that recommended Family Air to me was the fact that Jerry was very open and responsive to e-mail communication (great for me since I hate talking on the phone!). I asked him a ton of questions and we e-mailed back and forth trying to find the unit that was the best fit for our family. Family Air had great financing available as well. Jerry was very good about coordinating with us to find a time that worked for everyone and then even sped up the project, finishing up the drywall repair a day early, to accommodate our need to get back in our house. I feel very confident that if we do have any issues with the AC in the future that we will have no problem getting them resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!
Great experience from beginning to end. Jerry Jr explained to me in detail what needed to be done and gave me a very fair quote. Dylan and Eric did an outstanding job. They were prompt, personable and professionable. Will be recommending and using Family Air in the future.
